I used to love God with my whole heart. I saw and experienced the power of the Holy Spirit very strongly in the church. When I was 14, I first heard about blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. I never gave it much thought until later kept on thinking about it. I looked up the verses and it spoke about what the pharisees said about Jesus Christ. I kept having these thoughts in my head and I didn't want to really do it. It sucks badly. One day, I was having these thoughts and I had some doubts and I actually believed one of these blasphemous thoughts about what the pharisees said about Jesus's miracles when they accused him of demonic power and I tried to rebuke it from my heart but it was too late. I tried to come to Christ and repent several times but nothing happened. No heart conversion or conviction of my wrongdoings. I hate myself. I just wished that I never heard about the unpardonable sin. It seems too late and I don't know what to do next.

Generally speaking, people who are not saved do not concern themselves with whether or not they are saved.

Um.. What do you think you are doing right now if not feeling convicted of something you think you did wrong?

As Magenta has said, You wouldn't care one whit about God, or what we think, if you committed the Unpardonable sin.

Understand your accuser the devil, get's great joy in seeing you in torment over this. Don't believe his lies.

But your Father in Heaven LOVES you!

Now, do you believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, come to die to pay your sin debt, and was raised to life 3 days after his death?

I cannot think of a worse place to seek reliable spiritual counseling than an
internet forum. They're sort of like the US Supreme Court where nine
justices, supposedly all expert in Constitutional law, seldom agree on
anything.

Did you ever speak evil against the Holy Spirit specifically? Mark 3:29-30 tells us what the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is: "but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnationbecause they said, 'He has an unclean spirit.' "

If you speak evil of the Holy Spirit and continue to do so, yes, it is unforgiveable; you are in danger of Hell. But it you said or thought something in a moment of weakness but later repented you aren't doomed.

For that you are 100% sure not going to hell. The fact you are writing this proves you do have conviction, you wouldn't even care to write about it if it wasn't so.

As for who goes to hell, I personally cannot say as I don't know all the ins and outs of people's life, but in this case I do know you have NOT done the unpardonable sin.

I think that I just understand everything intellectually and not feel any true conviction from the heart.

You don't have to be emotional to feel conviction I would say. I am very stoic yet I am genuinely sorry for the sins I have commited

The decision is yours. You may choose today...

Revelation 3:20
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

Praise the Lord! It is important that we hate the sinfulness of self. That's a very, very good sign. I hate your sinfulness also.

Jude 1:23
“And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”

I have a question for you:

Do you believe the blood of Jesus is powerful enough to save you?

Suggestion: Stop listening to Satan trying to tell you that your sins are "unpardonable". He is up to His eyeballs in unpardonable and He wants to drag you down with Him.

The difference between you and Satan is that Satan loves himself, but you hate yourself. You are white for the Harvest, my friend! (y)

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

God won't send anyone to Hell for one sin, even blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 3:9 says: "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." He always gives people time to repent.

Wait, isn't that a contradiction? Jesus said blasphemy against the Holy Spirit won't be forgiven at all so how can someone go to heaven after doing that?

I just feel an intellectual knowledge of sin, not conviction at all

"It is possible and very likely that there are those that beat themselves up for no other reason
than scripture is not fully
comprehended, spiritually. And I have no intentions of attempting to
interpret scripture, it is what it is and how one chooses to interpret.
'It is my belief that I may experience 'heaven' or 'hell' here on earth, here in the now, and this being aligned
with how I conduct my life here in the now, and I attest to this simply from "this side of the glass."

'And make no mistake, not one has the ability to definitively, precisely, conclusively or with absolute predictability to know
the absolute mystery of the soul upon death, and to do so one would be
presumptuous action without spiritual merit.
'I learned long ago to live my life the best I know how and to strive for
spiritual discipline according to the
principles of life so inspired through Christ teachings.
'And I believe when my life is done here on earth, no matter what...God's
spiritual realm of the unknown, eternal peace!"

'These words I hope are seriously pondered, and let us love the Lord, and know all is well.'
"Bless you and all that are here."
"Praise God"

We will know for certain if you committed that sin if you don't come to Jesus.

In fact, there are several different interpretations for exactly what the sin actually is.

1. Attributing the works of Jesus to Satan.

2. Living your whole life, hearing the Gospel, maybe multiple times, yet rejecting Jesus all the way to your death.

3. ONLY those who were living at the time of Jesus in human form, pre resurrection, and those who will be alive in the 1000 year reign of Christ, and attribute His work to Satan, can possibly commit this sin.

ALL 3 have their merits, and I don't need to take a position on any of them. The bottom line is that if you don't come to Jesus, YOU have definitely committed that sin.

So please, stop worrying and trust solely in HIM.

If you sincerely repent and confess your sins, you are always forgiven. So do not be afraid, dear brother, but give your sin to the Lord Jesus, and thank Him for forgiving you: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 Jn 1:9)

What was the sin of the Pharisees? It was refusing to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, even in spite of all the miracles He worked. Do you do that? No, right? So that doesn't apply to you. Also, the way an unforgiveable sin works is that those who go on willfully committing it later come to the point where they never want to repent, never believe, never confess sins, never say sorry to the Lord etc. Such were the Pharisees.

Clearly, from what you've shown in this thread, you've not refused to believe in Christ nor confess sin. So, you are not hell-bound. Grow in Grace by Prayer and reading the Word; try to say the Lord's Prayer every day. Hope that helps. God Bless.
