I would say that they all emphasize that Jesus cares about each individual and seeks out the lost rather than only tending to the found.

Luke 15

3And he spake this parable unto them, saying,

4What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
5And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
7I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

8Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?
9And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.
10Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

11And he said, A certain man had two sons:
12And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
13And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

yes and also it’s teaching us not to as a Christian’s look down on sinners who have come home like the prodigal his brother never left but yet his brother lacked the love the father has for him the brother is wondering “ why is it all about this guy now ? He left and I didn’t why is dad so happy to see him he made a lot of mistakes “

it’s almost like he doesn’t want the son to be accepted that way. Self righteousness is a bad idea as well as judging others unworthy of our fathers love we should be joyful when one sinner repents and returns home

Hi sir, :) I'd say all 3 parables are part and about the encounter described in the first 2 verses. I think the larger meaning of what was being taught seems to be more to the point in John 10.

However, when I often think about the parables in Luke 15 and John 10 my brain always brings up Proverbs 17:15 (has to be because of a sermon I had listened to in the past that edified me enough to be implanted), as well as and why to me it's so important to consider what Paul is saying in 2 Corinthians 10:7-8 and James in James 4:11-12 and even more so again with Paul in 1 Corinthians 8:11-12.

They are dealing with the same idea.. That something that is lost gains more value because it is missed.. The first stories are dealing with lost possesions. the sheep and the coin.. The last one deals with a lost loved one.. The Son who eventually came back..

In all of them, it is being taught that God rejoices when one of His children turns away from evil, repents, and returns unto Him. That that was lost is now found.
