The rich man prayed from hell. The only man in the Bible that prayed from hell was Jesus.

Luke 22:42-44
42Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. 43And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. 44And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

Luke 16:27-28
27Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: 28For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

God doesn't hear the prayers of the wicked.

John 9:31
Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

The rich man is not Jesus
did Jesus have 5 brother, why Jesus ask Abraham to send him back to his father ?
Jesus is God why asking help to Abraham? Abraham need help from Jesus not all the way around

Verses are a weapon against all LIES of Satan, who has been and is still deceiving the world.

Paul would strongly DISAGREE with your opinions.
But you’re the ignorant one.
How childish. You made a comment about using Scripture as a weapon in a very negative way, and I rebuked your opinion WITH Scripture.

That’s been proven conclusively beyond a shadow of a doubt. I was the one responding with Bible verses, swatting down false doctrines.
Only in you mind.

What are you even talking about? You live in a fantasy world. Pathetic. You’ve learned nothing after numerous threads of being dominated. Are you a glutton for being debunked? Seriously, idk why you keep responding to my posts otherwise.
This is clearly not a post with reality.

Every # in the Bible is literal?

What’s the Truth of the Parable… what’s the lesson… what do you hear the Spirit saying?

Both were Jews, both knew each other…

One was prideful and one was humble… one had MUCH on the Earth and one had little yet, their eternity was opposite their Earthly life…

True, being rich does not mean a person is prideful or humble; likewise, being poor and homeless does not mean a person is prideful or humble.

But the question remains… in the parable that Jesus told, why did the (no name) rich man go to Hades a place of torment and Lazarus (notice Jesus gives him a name) went to Father Abraham’s bosom?

What is the “heart and mind” difference of the rich man and Lazarus?

Notice the parable doesn’t even talk about their relationship with God but focuses on humanity… how the wealthy treat the poor…

Let's make this simple. Do you identify with Lazarus?

Luke 16:27-29 . . Send Lazarus to my father's house, for I have five
brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of
torment.. Abraham replied: They have Moses and the Prophets; let hour
brothers listen to them.

I htink it's safe to assume Lazarus isn't safe and secure simply because he
was poor and wretched, rather, because he himself did listen to Moses and
the Prophets.

So; what might Lazarus have found useful in the Old Testament that he
appropriated to prevent himself from ending up like the rich man; and is
that information still useful to this day?
