It is a fulfillment of prophecy.

Amos 5:18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light.
Sounds bad for these folks and maybe IoG is teaching same thing but I don"t listen to there teachings enough to know.

Us or the one in Jerusalem?
Is He building one Or having one built in Jerusalem?
1Pe 2:3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
1Pe 2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
1Pe 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
1Pe 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
1Pe 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
1Pe 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
1Pe 2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
1Pe 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
1Pe 2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Will God reside in the Holy of Holies of the temple built ? What a mockery of the Perfect Sacrifice God made of His Son. Dispensationalism mocks God and distorts His Word.

Act 7:48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
Act 7:49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
Act 7:50 Hath not my hand made all these things?
Act 7:51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

That's what I thought you meant but wanted to be sure that I understood. ☕🙂👍📖

There are some people that might rejoice in the building of another temple in Jerusalem, not in fulfillment of prophesy, but due to identification with those who reject our Lord. I bought a book by an evangelical who went that direction, so I quit reading it. BTW, Im glad we don't identify with or support these Jewish Rabbis.

I don't get what the red heifer has to do with this. I only see one mention of it in Num. 19:2. I am planning to call my contact with the IoG folks this Sunday and see what they say. Some time back I was reading something about the Muslims' Mahdi. Sort of the Muslim Messiah. The Reb's here make me think of that. There was a 19th century Muslim in Sudan who had quite a few folks convinced he was the Mahdi. Maybe this will happen with the false Messiah Matthew 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

This reminds me of when you had to examine the lamb to make sure it was without blemish before you could sacrifice it for Passover as a type of Jesus being examined.

I was going to avoid any of these posts about prophecy since I haven't really got a clue why they are of interest and then I see someone does post that prophecy is for believers and so I am trying to follow but the posts seem very cryptic to me. So it really isn't a question. It is just that I have heard about both the temple and the heifer from IoG people and as I recall they also think the RCC pope will go to the temple and that is supposed to be significant. So I am going to talk with the IoG folks on Sunday, maybe and get their spin and maybe I will understand better than what I see here. Again, the IoG folks are eagerly awaiting and anticipating going thru the 'tribulation'. At least that's what brother Ozias with IoG told me some time ago. Sounds like the folks here and IoG are on the same page.

PS to H&H, looks like the way my post about the Mahdi is a bit confusing. I was referring to the Rabbi's (Reb's) in the video, they made me think of the Mahdi which makes me think of Mt.24:5, And Num,19:2 is about the red heifer but I have no clue what it means.

It's really not important to us.
The Rabbis are looking for a Different Christ, who is the Antichrist. They rejected Jesus, so they are open to another false Messiah.
I can't speak for anyone else, nor do I accuse others here of being of one of the Hebrew Roots groups. I used to know some though that met at a friend's house. They are not the people that I would look to for answers. Here's why. Matt Powell did some interviews of members as well as former members about their beliefs on important Bible topics. Here's what I listened to at lunch. It's about 21 minutes.

📖🙂👍 Agreed
I wouldn't worry about it.
Prophecy is important, but I think a focus on the main things we already discussed is more important right now. I did serious Bible reading to get a clearer overall view, then topics/ word studies before tackling prophecy.
Have a good day.

The Old Covenant is fulfilled. God has no further plans for old Israel. They decided to break their covenant with God, so no collective blessings for them. Jews must individually repent and turn to Jesus to achieve any chance for salvation.

These Christ-hating neo-Pharisees meanwhile can continue engaging in their fantasies about their Greater Israel ruled by the false Messiah from Sodom and Egypt, rebuild the great temple of Babylon and sacrifice as many animals and Gentiles as they want. And they are indeed promised, that if they continue pursuing their lusts, God will bless them with eternal citizenship, in hell.

I am almost certain that IoG has no affiliation with Hebrew Roots. I do know they teach that the present government of Israel is of Edom and that IoG are the true Israelites. Now that is hard to believe but I stay neutral as of yet. But, I vaguely think of verses that seem to indicate that mankind is blind to the truth. Seems there are verses that also refer to the eventual restoration of 'True Israel". And then there seem to be verses that mention fear of Israel of Jacob or something like that, God's people maybe. So where in the world do you see even the police fearful of patrolling? What we may call ghettoes. So what can it hurt to talk with IoG folks and get their viewpoint?

Two years and a day old. One of them will be needed to dedicate the new temple. At this moment, the dome of the rock still stands on the temple mound.

the "Temple Mount" isn't where the Temple was. VCO here at CC has done a LOT of wonderful work to keep us up to date on this subject , the ashes of the Red Heifer are to be mixed with other substances and scattered on the ground to sanctify the ground prior to the Temple being rebuilt, it had to happen for the Temple in the Wilderness as well.
