Romans 1 Verse 16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Paul was not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ and neither should we; Why. It is the only power unto salvation, there is no other way. It is there for VERY ONE that BELIEVETH that is the condition. To the Jew(properly translated Israel all 12 tribes) first. Why they were his chosen people. And also the Greek (all the other races, the gentiles, aso known as the Ethnos. In other words Jesus died for all Gods children and all childern are Gods children. They may not know it, act like it or want to be but they are and one day they will find out. Some with rewards and some with sorrow.



Verse 17. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

If you have faith in All Mighty God He watches over you. If you have faith He will always take care of you. Faith is a power thing. You must have works to go along with it. Faith is what you can walk with and know that He has His hand on you, IF you follow His instructions, IF you do it His way. If you don't you are out on your own. You made the choice nobody else did.



Verse 18. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Gods wrath is reveled from heaven against not some but against all ungodliness. Those that mock the word and go contrary to the word; God knows just how to handle that and is will be reveled. This is not a maybe it will NO you have a choice you can either choose to follow God and receiving blessings now and even greater blessings later or you can face his wrath. The choice is yours. You choose blessings or wrath. Which ever you choose is up to you. In the end if you choose wrong do not try and blame anyone else for it. He sent you the letter so that you would know how to have His blessings of His wrath.



Verse 19. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

In other words the cosmos (an orderly or harmonious universe) by nature itself, it is something you are born with. You can tell what is right from wrong just by looking at nature. It is not like having the word of God or the truth of God in you but by looking at nature you know how God created it, therefore you don't have to go against nature.



Verse 20.For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Very simply put you know, you can tell there is a God. All you have to do is look at the trees, the stars the moon, the sun. Look at how the seasons are setup so that thing can grow, summer does not come before spring for a reason and God set it up that way. If you stop and look and thank You know there is a God. Do you know it is they God maybe not but you know it is a god.



Verse 21. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

When they came to know God or know of God They refused to glorify Him, they did not take him as God, they were not thankful for what He had done their minds became void of the knowledge of God. There hearts were darkened; just who is the prince of darkness? It is Satan of course. Satan has a way of dealing with people and making them thank everything is lovely; Satan wants as as many as he can get to joine him in hell.



Verse 22. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

It seams like the smarter people become in the ways of the world the bigger fools they become.



Verse 23. And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

This word image is icon, (idol) they make something into an image and worship it even if it is a part of a man. Hundreds of thousands gather in Mecca to worship a black rock in that same shape. You can find a false god on this corner or that corner in almost every city or town in the U.S. And elsewhere. They begin to worship mans doctrine rather than the God The Creator.

I say to thewatchmans remarks of vs 22. I resemble that remark, almost. Don't know about being so smart as the alcohol may have impaired my pea brain. Also thewatchmans grammar here lost me about this sentence "This is not a maybe it will NO you have a choice", from the comment following verse 18. Probably should read "This is not maybe it will be, you have a choice..". Other grammatical errors do not cause problems in understanding the message but that word "NO"????Maybe just me thewatchmans thnx.

Probably, but Ezekiel chapter 28, which you're referencing, differentiates between the prince of Tyrus, who was a man who was wiser than Daniel, and the king of Tyrus, who was apparently a supernatural being.

If you're referring to the war in Revelation chapter 12, then that war hasn't happened yet, and it won't happen until the midway point of Daniel's 70th week.

When you say "there is no rapture", do you mean no rapture at all, or do you mean no pre-tribulation rapture? The Bible clearly teaches of a rapture which occurs post-tribulation, and the tares won't be burned until the end of Christ's Millennial Reign.

yes from just after sin man was always in two categories the sons of Seths line ( the sons of God who called upon his name )

and the children of cain who did not.

I am surprised to find someone else that agrees with me about Cain. I am sure there are churches out there some where that teach this but not right around here.
