Funny you should say this, I just had a very nice conversation with an American woman today (first time in ages I met an American) and was thinking about how its silly for me to be on here because I really believe that Canadian and American women are so different things I complain about no American is likely to truly understand.
Beyond that, since I'm the guy always talking to women but always wimping out in the end I have far too much knowledge of the behavioural patterns of these strange and wonderous creatures. I think maybe they are all weird, exotic, and unique planets waiting for me to land on and conquer.

As a woman who cares about stability I think you are right. I will take an insurance adjuster with a stable career any day. Just because he ahas a job that seems boring to most doesnt mean he is a boring person. I am sure there are some insurance adjusters that also ski and surf.
What's wrong with him wanting a housewife. He mprovides for the family by going out making money and she takes care of the house and children. Makes sense to me.
I think someone else said something about confidence. It's true. Confidence along with maturity get you a long way. I sense that many men here do not have confidence in themselves as to what they have to offer a woman and that's why they are so confused. If a man is unsure of what he has to offer (lacking confidence) or doesn't have much to offer (lacking maturity) then he is not going to be able to correctly persue a confident and mature woman.

Sometimes we have to step out of bad situations in search of the change we desire, especially when we get to the point where we feel we're being eaten alive. When I was reading some of these threads over the weekend, I found myself wondering if:
- Every man outside of my part of the world was a lying, cheating, lazy, good for nothing, abusive, ungodly skirt-chaser; and
- Every woman outside of my part of the world was a golddigging, lazy, gossipy, man-eating, viper lying in wait to syphon the life out of every male on the planet and who, after careful calculated maneuvering, has the ability to find some poor soul to actually marry her...after which time she will bear children and become a worthless void of a human being who will only pollute the air for the rest of us.
Thus, my Facebook status indicating that I was wondering whether I was the sole optimist in a world of joy-eating zombies.
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I've enrolled in a 12-step anti-joy-eating zombie program, so I should be fine soon.

Wow! You so captured my mood of the moment it is unbelieveable. You 90% described me, and totally summed up what women are all about. I've come to the conclusion that people are loathsome and its our responsibility to be individually as loathsome as possible as well. I know you are mocking the extremes, but it feels you have it all summed up perfectly. If I wasn't a lazy good for nothing skirt chasing idiot, I wouldn't be dealing with the endless frustrations of all of the coniving drunken ho's that characterize modern living.
Someone on here was inspired by this thread to try to hash out rules for asking women out... waste of time... a guy might as well ask out every girl he comes across anywhere and everywhere and ignore any societal mores surrounding what is appropriate because it all doesn't matter. The sweet girl you're worried about "offending" or whatever the right word, is probably headed off to get drunk and score at the bar that night anyhow.

He is on to something though. The more women I ask out the more likely I am to get a date and I suppose a relationship. But I think women see this sort of thing differently than men. Hear me out, as a man, I want to be interested in a girl so that I can ask her out but, I think women want a guy to ask them out so that they can find out if they are interested in them. That is my theory.
I am beyond the point of pessimism and now onto a stage of total annoyance. It fascinates me how I am forever to be judged by society for not being "man enough" when I am single. It seems to me I am supposed to walk into bars which are too loud, people are moving too fast, and I have to try to deal with every girl's different level of drunkeness, not to mention the over hanging issue of violence I could be exposed to at any time.
Yet, I have come to realize it is all 100% bull****. This whole sociteal mores are all set up to deal with idiotic losers who can't talk to the opposite sex unless they have some liquid courage. So given that I can easily strike up conversations with girls about anywhere when sober, its a little tiresome to be bothering with this whole silly mentality that I'm putting upon women if not waiting until I am in the bogus "party" zones.
In fact with all of the women claiming they want "bad boys" I don't understand why the whole lot of us aren't walking around complimenting each other on body parts we like and asking straight up for specific sexual tasks we feel like at any moment. Since this is apparently what everyone wants anyhow, why don't we just cut the crap and end the needs of liquid courage on the one side and inane talk about the weather on the other side if apparently we all just want the good fast direct and to the point?

Dude you are so wounded. It is sad really. Maybe you should try dating people not from bars.
Now some people may disagree with me, but I am of the opinion that christians don't frquent those places, and if they do go they arent getting hammered. You continuosly talk about these women you see at bars or parties and you keep getting the same result.
Well anyone can say they are a Christian but look at their actions. Check your actions as well. Stay out of the clubs and bars and you can avoid these women and colored men that you so very despise.

Uh, you are so wrong. I have too many experiences thinking I had something good going with some chick that I met somewhere far from the bar scene. But you know what??? Its a real kick in the groin when you discover that this same person whether from a christian group or not is apparently binge drinking at the bars and scoring as well. I see also you're still mad at me for my complaints of some weeks ago about the double standard of society regarding how black guys and white guys can act. Since I very much respect most of what you say and hence you yourself, I hope your own single problems aren't being caused by the ridiculous "black guys are good with women" because they are aggressive, abusive, and walk out on most of their conquests moral terpitude nonsense of present day society. I mean black guy behaviour is so bad its pretty much a ten commandment sin (telling falsehoods against they neighbour) accusing white people of "racism" for the problems in places like Haiti when its so clear its 90% about the sexual sins of the locals. Having said this, you'll be glad to know that most of my *****ing of the last 20 or so posts is mostly about the idiocy of white people, including myself.

I am not and never was mad, but you often bring up the same issues over and over agian downing women often including racial remarks about non white guys. It's just sad to me that in most of your posts you have chosen to degrade us and throw us into a group that most of us don't deserve to belong in.
I hope you get help with your issues. Not many people, man nor woman, sees us the way you do. It's a shame because you probably do have some good qualities but no one will ever see that with your poor outlook on life in general.
