What is the price range? Are we looking for an Old Spice gift basket or a new smartwatch that doesn't need a phone to pair with it?

You could get him some smart lightbulbs and set them to turn on when he comes home (or rather, when the smartphone in his pocket gets within a few hundred feet of his house.)

I'm not even going to post a link. There are many brands, some with multicolors, some with bluetooth speakers in them, some that connect to google home or alexa... Many ways to do this.

Depends on the man. And depending on the price range you're looking at well there's the burnout travel mug ( I think it's burnout, basically a mug that cools your boiling drink to drinkable temeperature and keeps it there for a bit, I think that's a pretty nifty piece of engineering / tech but it's pricey for a mug), a new puppy, a weekend trip away, new home gym equipment, or some animal themed workout shorts (not all of these suggestions are serious).

Generally I think guys like practical gifts that they'll use. Best I can do.

Now I have a mental image of leopard print workout shorts.

I'm gonna have to go play a video game for a few hours to get that out of my head.

Sounds like what I’m like. I’m 36, one of my expertise is in technology, and I like to travel. I also enjoy running, biking, and swimming. I’m also extremely curious and love to learn.

He might enjoy a DIY hobby kit to make a raspberry PI or a kit to let him build a ham radio. The sense of achievement for fixing and building things that actually work is like an adrenaline rush for people like me. Or books about something he’s interested in; Learning is always a great pass time.

Personally I feel that most gifts I’ve been given just amount to clutter. I would always greatly appreciate food gifts and/or clothing.

Someone bought me an Echo Dot a few years ago for Christmas. It's a device that brings Alexa/music/games/many other things of amusement and enjoyment to you. Research Echo Dot, and if your boyfriend doesn't have one he'll enjoy it. After I received mine as a gift,, I sent Echo Dots to all those I knew the next Christmas and they were all very happy.

Secretly ask him...lol I mean pay attention to what he says during your conversation with him...the things he likes or wish to have if you are not sure what to give to him ☺

Or...maybe buy him a pair of travel/gym shoes, shirt, gym gloves, socks, a special water bottle,a travelling bag or a gym bag... or maybe shades? Men's perfume? Travel guide books? 😊

Yeah, this. This is how I feel every year in December. "Oh shoot, more junk that I'll have to find something to do with."

You already have a wide range of ideas right here. Forget about travel today since forced vaccinations are not acceptable. And booster shots are even worse.

Generally men that age just appreciate a special meal. They often have everything money can buy already (I know from having brothers) and too much stuff anyway.

But if he indicates he'd like something then consider it. Many grown men like toys like Lego and model kits. I worked in retail and that was what a lot of men salivated over, they didnt really go for many of the gifts in the gift section, which included socks and mugs and other gifty type things.

Unless it was the head scratcher. Which was very popular...!
