No one is going to realistically change the weather patterns, but we can learn to live with the changes in the weather patterns.

IMHO, the most pressing change that we need to make is to ban all new drainage of wet lands. We need to stop all construction, and reconstruction in flood plains. Require that all flood insurance payments be used to move out of the flooded area. We need a minimum of a 1 mile residential building (including apartments and hotels) setback from coastlines.
