God said at the last days perilous times will come,and then states the condition of people,that they are more selfish,greedy,and arrogant,than in the past leading them more astray,which includes the people who are lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God,and having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof,the Spirit,to help them to overcome the flesh,who are ever learning but never coming to the truth that they have to abstain from sin.
God pointed out that in the end times there will be many hypocrites for they are being carried away with the lusts of the world that increase as time goes on,but still claim Christianity,and causing people to believe that Christianity is a hypocritical religion,and now there is the New Age religion occult Christianity,that claims man is god himself,that God warned us of in 1 Timothy chapter 4.
There cannot be a falling away of man allowing the New Age Christ to appear until there is an occult,false Christianity,to deceive the world.
Christianity is the standard of the world on good morals and decent character,and the more hypocritical people who claim to be with Christ are,the more the world is closer to rebelling against God,where the only outcome of the direction that the world is going with it's selfishness and arrogance,that has been building from Adam and Eve until it's conclusion,is a world where man is god himself with no governmental or religious authority above them.
And all this is going to happen mainly because there is a multitude of hypocrites,and the world views fundamental Christianity as hypocritical,giving more way to the New Age religion occult Christianity where man is god himself,which eventually the world,all the religions,will embrace that interpretation of Christianity as the foundation of all religions,where everybody can have the Christ consciousness,and the divinity is in them,and when the New Age Christ appears saying he has tapped in to the highest part of the Cosmos,nature,and has ascended in to godhood,the most power a man can achieve,and he will restore all the hidden mysteries of the past and man can ascend in to godhood.
Hypocrites cause much damage,and why would they want to be hypocritical seeing it causes so much hurt to the world.

Read the letters again, and see what they say about these things.
Everyone wants to tell me how scripture is authoritative, and it is, but then they ignore almost half of it.
When I point this out, all of a sudden I am the bad guy.

I ignored the passages in scripture for many years, the ones I am pointing to. I just read over them, saying in my mind that they were not for me, I was saved and God did not see my sins.
But before you decide, just read the letters of Paul again, focusing this time on how many times he tells us things not to do, and warns us of things to avoid, in our actions and in our thoughts.
It is easy to read and see the things that are so wonderful, the things we have in Christ that make us God's children, whom He loves more than we can know in this life. But the things which make Him angry, the things which cause us to be ineffective and which even destroy our witness to and in the world, and which worst of all block His love to the world.
So, no, I will not click the link, because it is another attempt to show me that I have made a mistake, or have been deceived by a demon, or some other thing which points to me and my problems rather than answer the issues which I have raised.
Just remember, God calls us to be holy, even as He is holy. I cannot do this, neither can you, but I can seek His face to make me as holy as He is willing and I am able to die to my flesh in Christ. He sees the one who is seeking Him in this as one who loves Him enough to give up even their life on the cross of Christ.
I hear a lot of teaching about how blessed we are. I don't hear any teaching about becoming holy in Christ. Rather that we already are holy. Positional without the experience. All this amounts to is hypocrisy.

?? either you totally misread my post or you think VW is speaking for GOD and is "God's SON" who I thought referred to JESUS.
I have no problems with anything the Bible says.
I just have issues with the way some people mishandle His Holy Words and claim to be speaking for GOD when they utter lies about His church and His love through ignorance of what sanctification truly means.

No wisdomseeker .......God's words do not offend. They are a lamp unto our feet and in them is all truth and wisdom found. May the following be a blessing to you.
Jeremiah 23:31,32,39,40
31. Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.

This is what you have gotten from this passage in Jeremiah, the whole of chapter 23 is God's word to false prophets? Talk about using scripture to say what you want it to say. Whew.

here we go an answer that is also based on ignorance but this time ignorance of the person you are talking to.
1. EG does not idolize the Bible that is your misunderstanding of his words when he is pointing out that the Bible is a LETTER from God to the world that testifies of Jesus' coming and saving us. Do you have issues with that?
2. the "people like you" statement is judgmental and wrong since you have not even bothered to hear his testimony and can not judge his heart. I agree with him on this topic and I know that I am nothing without God and the Bible is just His rule book and letter of love to me and those who call on the name of Jesus. Do I understand all of it? no have I misread it? probably but I have the Holy Spirit and though I freely admit I don't understand the whole letter I know it tells me that God loves me and He sent Jesus to die on the cross for my sins and that Jesus was resurrected and now lives in Heaven and one day God will wipe away all our tears but for now we run the race of life He has set before us and walk in His way and life our lives in a manner that shows the world God's love and light.
3. Everyone needs GOD. so that statement about "do not need Him" is a lie. you should pray for people you think do not have God not curse them by telling them they never heard of Him and don't need Him. You should instead tell them about GOD and His Love and how to walk in His ways.

He did that to me, over 17 years ago. For some odd reason He chose to leave me here in the earth, even though I deserved nothing but death and eternal condemnation, as a bible believing christian.
He made me a follower of Jesus Christ, by His Holy Spirit.

Every Christian I have ever known believes the bible, although the bible needs to be obeyed in order to not be decieved. You dont
say it that way. If the bible is truth, then it was your own disobedience that decieved you.

Jesus warned people to not do as some preaching the word but never doing it themselves. But He never, ever warned anyone that it would decieve them.
No actually it was the words of life. Actually He said His words were spirit. So if you have this spirit that is beyond the words....you have a devil.
That explains the talking down of the word, and the sheep beating you do.

Better for him to learn the truth now, rather than on the court of the church. If a person says that he has the Spirit, and reads the Bible, it is still nothing say about! At the trial, many will be shocked! You may find that all that he did a Christian on earth, rejected by God! Do you judge by your eyes? Or by hearing of yours ears you decide things? If it was not ignorance, it would be a partiality! You do not know the real Spirit , so you do not know anyone before you.
