Amy Carmichael the famous Irish missionary to India when she was 6 years old asked God to give her brown eyes, she went to bed full of confidence. When she awoke she scrambled onto a chair to look in the mirror but her eyes were still blue. She vowed never to pray again seeing that God did not answer her.

"but" said God "I did answer ... I said no"

I suggest you try going to a Christian with a PROVEN healing ministry for healing from the Lord Jesus by a gift of healing.
Happened to see this post and having been telling my Catholic neighbor about verses in book of James tells about just what you state in this post. I was RCC but don't know if Catholics have elders. see James....I am considering attending local AoG assembly and saw via internet they follow book of James. I am blessed with health but my RCC neighbor can't hear.

Eccelsiastes was talking about the trinity -- Jesus, son. Holy spirit, and Father

I guess if you dont understand that you not really discerning spiritual things or who the helper is.
Jesus never said I will send you a wife. He never promised everyone would get married. He said I will send you the helper from the Father.

I mean sure us women sure dont look like the holy spirit. You cant see the holy spirit. The spirit blows where it wills.
It does not. A three strand cord is taking about having the help in life. You really did not read the verses before it.

It has been found that touch calms our nervous center and slows down our heartbeat. Human touch also lowers blood pressure as well as cortisol, our stress hormone. It also triggers the release of oxytocin, a hormone known for promoting emotional bonding to others.
oh really ? Yeah makes sense I suppose what’s that have to do with prayer ?

The human touch is very important for physical and spiritual well being.
yes brother but prayer is to your father in heaven a discussion between your soul you whole bieng and God your Heavenly Father

there is no human touch involved there’s a spiritual bond between a father

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
‭‭John‬ ‭4:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and his children

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh;

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:3, 5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

this spiritual bond and rebirth is made here for a believer of the gospel

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭

That’s how you see the kingdom you hear the gospel of the kingdom and believe that’s what changes our mind from flesh to spirit

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:63‬ ‭

so prayer between the father who is spirit and his born children who are called to walk by his spirit expressed in the gospel

“And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. And he said unto them,

When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

Give us day by day our daily bread.

And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us.

And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

( also be consistent and persistent )

And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; for a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.

( persistence and perseverance pays off in prayer )

And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. ( these are Jesus words of faith to believe and build our faith )

If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭11:1-11, 13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

if we know how to give good things to our kids God is going to know way better good things to give us , he teaches a lot about faith and prayer in the gospels we need to hear and believe it let it be planted in our hearts as true

“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:22-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

as we pray we’re meant to be learning all the other things too about repenting and obeying the lord it’s all
One doctrine prayer is a benefit of having a relationship with our Heavenly Father through Christ

That does not take the place of the human touch.
A closer walk with Jesus does just that. He is all we need. It's time to accept His way and to stop demanding our own way. His grace is sufficient. This is not the time or place to be feeding our entitlement complexes. Gloryland is on the other side of the river, my friend.

I think God has a good reason for His decisions. Mature people know that marriage is a responsibility, not a playground. It is not for everyone. It is not all about getting touched and tickled. You can't even control your own emotions and desires. Do you really think you are ready to be the spiritual leader of a family?

I realize that this may be a hard pill to swallow, but we need to, with the help of God, get a grip on our fleshly desires.

1 Corinthians 6:19
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”

I have been to Christian healers.
There are many Christians who "claim" to be the channel of God's healing power and are NOT, that is why I said go to a Christian with a PROVEN healing ministry!

Do your research, also ask the Lord to bring you to such a Christian who has a genuine healing ministry from the Lord!

Charlatans are two a penny!

2 Corinthians 12:9
“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

Isaiah 40:31
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

I use to hear people at church use the phrase WWJD "What Would Jesus Do" when faced with an issue or a choice. I found this phrase very scary. Anyone could use it for anything their mind wanted or to influence people to get what they want. Another friend changed the phrase to "Walk With Jesus Daily" That I could agree with.

A friend told me a story about her son. He was in 4th grade at a Christian school. One time during lunch he was at a table with his friends. A girl walked over and said he was in her seat. He told her, he was here first. The girl said. "What Would Jesus Do". Her son said, "He would tell you to go find another seat" LOL
