If all sin isn't atoned for wouldn't Jesus need to come back and be crucified again. And shouldn't we be make sacrifices regularly until such time?
Salvation doesn't mean we aren't to strive against sin but that we are freed from it's penalty and daily are being freed from it's power. Eventually, in glory, we will be removed from its presence.
Hallelujah.
all sin is atoned for that’s why people can repent and be forgiven

sin being atoned for doesn’t change this

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:16, 19-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If We keep Living in sin we have no inheritance we have a choice to make

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin:

but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey;

whether of sin unto death,

or of obedience unto righteousness?”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:12-13, 15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Christian’s can say” all my ongoing sin is already atoned for there’s nothing I need to do “

or they can hear the truth and accept repentance and salvation and stop yielding tbier body to serve sin d start yielding their body to serve God as we are created to do and live

if we keep serving sin this is going to happen

“Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:12-

we can’t keep serving satans Will which is sin and expect we aren’t going to reap what we are sowing that is not what the atonement is for

it’s for those who acknolwedge thier sins and repent that’s who salvstion is for d why he’s being so patient with us

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

why should we need to repent what’s that have to do with perishing ? Same thing Paul said there if we keep
Living after the flesh we’re going to perish if we repent well live but as long as we keep rejecting the truth we’re never going to repent d be saved

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭13:3‬ ‭

the atonement is perfect and complete that doesn’t mean we don’t have to do what God taught us we have to do Acknolwedgong e truth of repentance is what leads us there s long as we continue to make sin acceptable and repentance not necassary we won’t ever repent if we accept it’s truth and basis on the doctrine we will because we’re believers

the bottom line is grace saves us through faith and this includes teaching us to repent of doing evil and start to do the Will of God found in the gospel

Jesus blood is sufficient , if we choose sin it’s not that his blood is insufficient it’s that we have been found out. We have to repent and the way to do it is to start accepting what Jesus told us

“in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:25-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We have an escape but we have to hear it

What is eternal life? What did Jesus mean when He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life"?
What is eternal life?

Eternal means FOREVER, Everlasting, Never ending.

Life means life as apposed to death

eternal life would then mean never die, live forever. everlasting life

Jesus Himself said in John 17:3: "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent."
Eternal life is about knowing God - it is a relationship with the Father, with the Creator!

Thus it is quite clear that the one who believes has eternal life.
The one who does not believe does not have eternal life.
The one who believes HAS eternal life

If they would possibly stop believing, they do not have eternal life. they have conditional life.

once again, You have God giving something eternal. unknowing that he will have to take it back.

God does not make mistakes

John 17:2-3~ You granted Him authority over all people, so that He may give eternal life to all those You
have given Him. Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, Whom You have sent.

The one who is not believing does not know God and does not have eternal life.
Scripture says the one who is believing has eternal life.

Yes, They HAVE eternal life

Which means it can never be lost.

Otherwise. they do not have eternal life.

People do not stop believing. that is the issue here..

Conveniently, for the purposes of your argument, not only did you cite Scripture out of context but you also misquoted it.

You say, "They HAVE eternal life." You left out an important word, the word 'MAY'. The correct citation from Scripture is, "that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. "

What about those that believe at one time and then quit believing? That's certainly not uncommon. Those that die die, after giving up their Christian faith don't qualify for guaranteed salvation as they no longer believe. They don't fit
in with Scripture, "that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. " As they don't believe anymore.

The word 'MAY' negates any guarantee, they may or they may not.

When someone pulls Scripture out of context and misquotes it in order to support their viewpoint, it no longer is God's word but your word. If you have to twist Scripture to get it to fit your beliefs, then your beliefs can't be that valid.

What the eternal security sect is saying, whether they realize it or not, is this: I believed, I said a prayer, I'm now an eternal being with eternal life. Jesus is now unnecessary and irrelevant. He's served His purpose.

And now I can put Jesus in the background of my life and do as I please because I'm locked in to heaven. I'll keep Jesus in my back pocket and if I need Him, I'll let Him know. Don't call me, I'll call you. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wishful thinking.

excuse me, I do not know what version you use, but the word says they will never die (perish) and they have (not may have) eternal life.
the word have is a present tense active verb (have) , it is not a future tense word (may have).

sometimes a little study goes along way.

This is wrong my friend. you are bearing false witness

A prayer is just a prayer. We are saved by grace through FAITH. without saving faith, a prayer is just words.

another bearer of false witness.

Why don;t you repent. and acknowledge you sin, and stop thinking you can earn your salvation by your works.

This is of course how the fleshly, logical mind thinks. It's completely of human intellect, but has no bearing on the reality of the born again child of God, and how he thinks, believes or behaves.

I'll tell you what's from the human intellect: OSAS.

Actually the human intellect says God can not save completely, and that man must add to the cross in order to be saved (NOSAS)

1 John 3:1~ Behold what manner of Love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God.
And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.

yes sins that are behind us he was mediating a new covenant while forgiving sins under the old

“And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament,

that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament,

they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We have to leave sin behind us for it to be remitted
