Superman depicts the antichrist. He claims to be an alien but in reality he is a demon. He disguises himself as an angel of light, in reality he comes from a society that has been judged by God.

“[Superman] is the anti-Christ,” as the Rev. Thomas Reese, a Jesuit priest and commentator for National Catholic Reporter, tweeted after he saw the movie. In “Man of Steel,” Reese wrote, “Superpowers, not love, conquers (sic) evil. Bash the bad guy, don’t turn cheek.”

Or as Jackson Cuidon put it in his “Man of Steel” review in Christianity Today, a leading evangelical magazine: “Superman ... is there mostly to satiate that part of the American psyche that wants their messiahs to punch things, too.”

Oh, a Jesuit.....
Sounds like another bogeyman dreamed up by a religion.
Not buying it, the 50's were awesome.
Anyway, it was light hearted post meant to bring a smile and not trigger anyone.
best wishes:):coffee:(y)

He is on the same planet as you and I.

Fox News is nothing but a propaganda machine that advances the extreme right's political agenda.
He may be on the same planet, but he is out there...

Looks like a Red Wave

If you look at the major issues in this coming election it is very clear that there is going to be a huge red wave.

1. The single biggest issue is inflation, it is huge for Republicans, it is huge for independents and it is also a major issue for 13% of Democrats. It is very reasonable to think that anyone who considers this a big issue will vote out the incumbent and most likely replace them with a MAGA or Republican. But this issue affects the retired people, the poor and also blue collar more than anyone.

2. Immigration is a big issue for only 1% of Democrats, so you won't see many of them flip over this issue, but it is a big issue for 8% of independents and 22% of Republicans. But here is the thing, where are these people located? The border with Mexico. That is where several very important states are located and although nationally it isn't big, it is certainly very significant in certain races for congress, senate and governor. This affects everyone in these border states and many of those were democrats even if they weren't registered.

3. Crime is a primary issue for 5% of the country, but where is this the major issue? Almost always in Democrat run cities in the blue states. This can have a major impact in flipping blue states like NY. So you can see some really big surprises coming in places that were considered Democratic strongholds.

4. Abortion is a primary issue for 22% of the country. However, 10% of Registered Republicans see this as a major issue, hence they are probably pro life. So it is not reasonable to think that 22% of the country sees Abortion as the primary issue because they are pro choice, on the contrary it is probably 14% that are pro choice and see it as the major issue and 8% who are pro life and see it as a major issue. Also, it is very unlikely that this will cause anyone to flip from one side to the other. Unlike Crime, immigration or Inflation which will almost certainly cause many defections from the democrats.

5. Likewise, healthcare is a primary issue for 13% of the country. But what does that mean? I can hardly think that everyone who felt that Biden would be the best one to deal with the Pandemic still feel that way. I just do not see how this will cause anyone to move their vote to the Democrats. On the contrary I can see some who may have voted for Biden thinking he would be best for healthcare now thinking that was a mistake. This term is too general, are you concerned about healthcare because you are about to lose your job? Well then you would vote out the Democrats. Are you concerned about healthcare because with inflation you can no longer afford your prescriptions? Well then you would vote out the democrats. Are you concerned about health care because you have learned things about the vaccine that make you realize you were lied to? Well then you would vote out the Democrats. It seems to me the top issues for Democrats indicate they will lose something like 20% of their votes, either they will flip or they won't show up to vote.

6. But there is another issue which is not showing up and that is education. If you have a child in elementary school or JHS in one of these cities that have exposed the pornography in the curriculum this is probably a big issue. However, that is a very small portion of the population. But it does represent the base of the democrats.

Conclusion

I don't see any issues that will peel away votes from Republicans, but I can see Democrats losing 20% of their votes and maybe a fourth of those votes or more will flip to Republicans.

Now if we also figure that with all the volunteers who will be watching and supervising these elections preventing and/or reporting fraud so that the election cannot be stolen, it looks like the results will be epic.

Long as they are not forced to leave, as in November 2020...

They are actually being coached on how to report infractions prior to election day which makes it much easier for authorities to respond.

Sadly, many woke parents are going with the narrative, and allowing the indoctrination of their children. Those parents that actually care and protest the curriculum are being persecuted and prosecuted...

I don't think anyone who is going with the narrative and allowing indoctrination is switching their vote from Republican to Democrat. On the other hand I saw a raucus school board meeting in Michigan with 100 fathers there and they were outraged and they were muslim and they were calling to vote Rashida Talib out. So my point is that this will impact a few, and the few that it does impact will be those who are switching their vote from Democrat to Republican.

Every congressman is up for election, so if we see 100 seats flipped it will be stunning.

One of the biggest lies against MAGA and Trump is that it is a few racists, domestic terrorists, hay seeds and trailer trash. Now imagine if 350 congressional seats are taken by Republicans and primarily MAGA. Who are the "few" now? This will help all those smug NPR listeners realize they have been clueless about what is going on in this country.

1. Some people voted for Biden because they didn't know about the Hunter Biden laptop being real, now they do. They have already said a significant number would not have voted for him had they known. Well, now they know.

2. Some may have voted for Biden because they thought he would bring dignity back to the Whitehouse and restore common sense. Surely they have realized that was a big mistake by now.

3. Some may have voted for Biden/Harris because she said she would eliminate the human rights abuses at the border on day 1.

4. Many probably voted for Biden because they were "anybody but Trump", how is that working out for you? I suspect they have changed their mind on that.

Now imagine you were impacted by Fentanyl killing a friend or family member? Will that cause you to vote Republican?

Suppose over the next two weeks we see the situation with Russia get worse and worse, imagine if there were tactical nukes used prior to the election! This has to have some people rethinking their "anyone but Trump" attitude.

Suppose you live in the suburbs and you were quite comfortable with 200k in equity in your house and 400k in your retirement accounts. But you have seen that the equity in your house is gone you can't sell it for anything more than what you owe to the bank, and meanwhile your 401k is now down to 250k. Will that cause you to rethink your "anyone but Trump" position?

Consider this, Muslim men in a Rashida Talib's district are calling for everyone to vote her out because of the pornography in schools.

At a campaign event for AOC protestors called her out for her hypocrisy in the war saying they had voted for her because of her stance against war and here she is fully supporting Biden's march to war.

Suppose the entire squad gets voted out. Imagine there's no AOC, it isn't hard to do, No Rashida Talib or Ilhan Omar too? Imagine all the race baiters get voted out!
