By now it should be apparent that I firmly believe there is something wrong with the behaviours of society, the double standards that are allowed to fester, and with so-called Christians for their present day shenanigans of blaming one group for everything. Apparently I have indeed developed a chip on my shoulder but I can see why with the constant insistance of overlooking the sins of other groups while my group is supposed to be to blame for everything.

You say I need help with my issues but it isn't my group that is forever crying for affirmative action, foreign aid, and endless donations while trying to pretend that some other group has caused all the damage. A study of cultures (or just a trip out on a friday night) shows its pretty clear that the problems your community suffers really aren't about "racism" but rather constant inappropriate sexual behaviour. That I have the guts to stand up to things other white people don't doesn't mean I have issues that need help, it means white society needs to stop letting abuse by other groups continue.

Persecuted, I understand your point of view, however, your group is not the only one with problems. If you can't past see above those issues, I assure you you will be very bitter. Don't get too focused on the horrible stereotypes people and culture have created:

White people are racist, too liberal and fat because they have a mccdonalds in every corner.
Mexicans are ignorants and short, and beaners, lol. And they spread like a virus through society.
Blacks are abusive, thieves, and Idk what other stereotypes exist.
Asians are nerdy and selfish and Idk any ther stereotypes about them :rolleyes:.
All people from the mid-east are terrorists.

Omigosh! I think someone on here must be some sort of a prophet because the only three things I've done today are squeeze into an old shirt, suck back a couple of big macs and ***** about other people mostly for getting in the way of the food counter and not speaking english. Luckily spirits were much higher upon waddling back out of the golden arches with some good grease to tide me over for a few hours anyhow.

Let me tell you something about my group. My group is the rest of the members of the Body. Thats right His body. "My Group" is not a group of fornicators, idolaters, murderers or theives, no matter what race/ethnicity or social class they are in. My Group is a group of Bible believing, Spirit filled, hand raising, worshippers of One God, and we come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

I understand what you are saying. It is sad because everyone has stereo types. But when you truely believe them or you decide that one group is better than others or other groups are "tainting" yours, that you move from a person who has stereo types to a racist.

I don't believe one group is better than another.
That's true, it's different having stereotypes but normally racists truly believe stereotypes about certain groups, and that's why they are racists. What's worse is that the media feeds those stereotypes to sell. You see them using stereotypes on commercials because they are funny or interesting. Maybe this is a problem that will never be solved. It's up to us decide if we are going to live isolated from other groups or change our minds a little and be smart.

This is where Christ comes again to our lives. Jesus didn't say one race merited salvation more than other. Not even jews. We ALL need Jesus. Another thing that God gave us is good judgement. Just because you decided you are not racist you will go the streets and say hi to everybody . You still have to be wise on how to act with certain people, but not because of the color, but because of what's in their hearts.
I'm mexican and I wouldn't even go and make friends with some mexican guys from the block with the looks and behavior of a criminal. And that's not because they are mexicans( that would be self-racist) , but because of their behavior. And you wouldn't let your kid walk alone in certain streets for the same reasons.
Good judgement as christians should be wise, cautious, but respectful and loving. Not just throwing everybody in a certain box because of their color.

A man could say something really romatical like that is a really cool dog you got there or that is some awesome music you are listening to, or something like that.....ok, looks like I should plan on staying single for a very long time.

Well that is all very nice but it doesn't explain why different people are allowed to abide by different standards.
