Hello everyone. I've missed being on here, but work will keep you on your toes. I had asked prayers for my sister in law, Libby a few months ago. Just an update. She passed recently from her cancer. I cannot begin to thank everyone who prayed or thought of her during this time. It's so great to have Christian's to talk to about these things in our lives. She was cremated, no insurance, no money & her children scraped together money enough to have her cremated. She came from a large family of 14 siblings altogether. She was the last of the 14 to pass away. Now she is in heaven praising God & singing with the Angels. If I don't get on here before Thanksgiving, I would like to wish each & everyone of you a very blessed Thanksgiving. I hope that it will be filled with love, joy, laughter & most importantly with family & friends to share it with. God Bless each of you for your thoughts, prayers & kind words.

That is all fine, sir. You have a very blessed & happy day. :) There are actually so many threads to look at & I honestly didn't expect anyone to respond. But thank you so much for your kind words. God is always good, no matter how we feel in our lives, He is always there with us. Have a wonderful, fun loved Thanksgiving & God Bless you & your family

I do not know you, but I'm sorry for the loss.

One thing I don't want to do is dish out clichés or shallow words of "comfort". Death sucks. As christians, we do have that hope, which can weaken the blow somewhat. But, it still hits us, sometimes, like a truck. And, only the healing mechanisms that God put into our brains can heal us.

I would also get into, maybe, a grief-counseling group. Seek out others who've been down your road. Some people have a really bad tendency to say really clueless things in an attempt to comfort you. You could benefit from sharing your grief with others.

Thank you, hon. But the family is doing well. At least it was expected instead of an accident. God comforts us all who come to Him. I hope you had a great day. :)
