Even you acknowledge that Christians still sin.
Cherry picking?

That's not what it teaches.😊🕊️

''If you are a born-again child of God, you are not a sinner. You will slip, make mistakes, fall short and sin. But that is neither your identity nor your nature. You are simply in an imperfect vessel (the human body / the flesh) which gives in to temptation (Galatians 5:17). You are a spirit with a soul living inside a body and having the human experience, including the human disadvantages (1 Thessalonians 5:23). Yet you need to over stand you are very different from a sinner for the reasons mentioned herein and then some. And for these reasons, new believers often look and act like unbelievers. While salvation occurs in an instant, the process of becoming more and more like Christ (sanctification) takes both time and growth. The Bible clearly speaks for itself on all of this without the need for interpretation.

It is most important that you remember Christ (Yeshua) did not come to help you stop sinning. He came because you could not stop. No human being is free from sin but children of God do not practice a life and nature of that sin. And when we fall, we restore each other, we repent and we realize that we have been forgiven.''

I wonder how many people here actually repent, every day, of their sin of not being perfect... "... as our Father in Heaven?

.
1John 1:7-10 . . If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves,
and the truth is not in us. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a
liar, and His word is not in us.

FAQ: If born-again Christians are sinning in this life; what's to prevent them
from sinning in the next?
_
The absence of their flesh.

The fact remains: If you sin, you're a sinner. Paul knew he was a sinner (Rom 7; 1 Tim 1:15; more).

The idea that you are “a sinner saved by grace” is a man-made deception – not in scripture.
Paul, in every single one of his letters except the one to the Galatians, calls believers 'SAINTS'. The way we think of ourselves is pretty much the way we are going to behave.

Every single believer should know who they are in Christ...that is, how God sees them now as having been washed in the blood of His Son.

Here is a partial list of who God says we are in Christ

John 1:12 I am God's child
John 15:15 As a disciple, I am a friend of Jesus Christ.
Romans 5:1 I have been justified (declared righteous).
1 Corinthians 6:17 I am united with the Lord, and I am one with Him in spirit.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 I have been bought with a price and I belong to God.
1 Corinthians 12:27 I am a member of Christ's body.
Ephesians 1:3-8 I have been chosen by God and adopted as His child.
Colossians 1:13-14 I have been redeemed and forgiven of all my sins.
Colossians 2:9-10 I am complete in Christ.
Hebrews 4:14-16 I have direct access to the throne of grace through Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:1-2 I am free from condemnation.
Romans 8:28 I am assured that God works for my good in all circumstances.
Romans 8:31-39 I am free from any condemnation brought against me and I cannot be separated from the love of God.
2 Corinthians 1:21-22 I have been established, anointed and sealed by God.
Colossians 3:1-4 I am hidden with Christ in God.
Philippians 1:6 I am confident that God will complete the good work He started in me.
Philippians 3:20 I am a citizen of heaven.
2 Timothy 1:7 I have not been given a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.
1 John 5:18 I am born of God and the evil one cannot touch me.

Live that identity then. A sinner.
I do my best to not sin, and live as a Christian. Jesus Christ is my example.

But I know I still sin. And I think deep in your heart, you know you do too.

Yes.

Oops. Too late.

I have.
what is the main theme of Romans?

God does not accept anyone doing their best...the Bible says all our righteousness is as filthy rags. There is only one thing that God accepts...that, is the believer washed in the blood of Christ having their sins...all of them...forgiven by the only way acceptable to God, in fact He made that way Himself by sending His only Son into the world to die on the cross for the forgiveness of our sin

You must note that no one said we never sin.

God does not accept sin; so, if we insist on calling ourself a sinner, that must mean that we do not really see ourselves as accepted by God.

this, can have awful consequences for people if they imagine they must somehow make themselves worthy before they pray or must do certain things like attend church every Sunday or if they fail (and we will all fail at various times and in various ways) think they must do some kind of penance before coming before God

please note that the incorrect teaching of 'sinlessness' is not at all what the op is about but it seems some have mistaken that it is

Briefly, Christianity. Salvation by faith and not by works.

Paul did his best.

A Christian's salvation is not in jeopardy, but we'll all be judged for rewards according to how we lived our lives (2 Cor 5:10).

We are saved by faith in Christ. When a person becomes saved he is declared righteous. That does not mean he IS righteous.

You must note that no one said we never sin.
Some seem to strongly imply it, though.

I already told you, I read the article. It's false.

If people believe that they no longer sin, they are deceiving themselves and the truth is not in them.

I know that through Christ I am a sinner accepted by God.

A person cannot earn salvation by working for it. They are given salvation when they decide to believe the gospel.

It seems so.

The main theme of the book of Romans is justification by faith in the Son of God and God's righteousness in reconciling mankind to Himself.

If we are justified, we are no longer a sinner. Sinners are incompatible with the kingdom of God. If God considered us as sinners, we would be on the way to hell. Period.

Therefore, we understand, we know, that God does no longer consider us as a sinner/unbeliever.

11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. I Corinthians 6
