I don't have superior knowledge but trying to go back to the basics. People like you make Christianity look like it is another religion. Nothing to see here folks if you know what I mean. You are turned off at least for me.
you sure are one contentious and judgmental person then

what a foolish comment you have made here

I don't think you know what I believe because you are too busy telling us all we do don't meet your standards

you paint with a broad brush and then think you have created a masterpiece. what you are actually saying here, is 'How dare you question me? don't you know who I am?' actually yes, I think I do know. just another bully and there seems to be more and more of them in this forum

distasteful and completely off the rails post. congratulations

is it possible to create a post that does not seem to indicate you possess superior biblical and experiential knowledge? It's kind of a turn off
What he is engaging in here or advocating for is gnosticism or mysticism. He defends it vehemently, therefore there is no conversation to have with him.

frankly, with all the 'beliefs' people seem to have going these days that are not in scripture, no surprise there

however, it's the attitude that I find very telling

What particular thing does @MISSION-IMPOSSIBLE say that causes you to question his beliefs? (I understand that bad feelings exist on this thread, but let's put that aside for the moment.)

Or Manifest Sons of God theology. The idea that a born again person is literally Jesus Christ. This is classic Word of Faith doctrine.

You see God from a human perspective. God is the sum total of His attributes, not just one.

While it is true that when people promote themselves they do so generally to the detriment of others. But this is not true of God. Our highest estate and when we are most satisfied is when God is most glorified.
Was it narcissistic when God told Abraham that He would be his reward?
My goodness, I gave you scripture to prove what I'm saying, and you say I see God from a human perspective? Actually, it is the other way around because you are projecting your humanistic view of God and stating that is the way you see it. I'm giving you scripture to prove that God's original intention was not only to be His delegates on earth and have dominion over it (Gen. 1:26) but only through intimate fellowship, which is accomplished by giving and receiving so that we could understand how much He loves us, even to the point that later on He gave Himself up for us (Gal. 2:20).

Lastly, God is ultimately glorified when we dare to accept our belovedness and fully embrace what He has done in Christ. Once we know we are safe in His everlasting arms, all that we do would be to glorify Him by doing what pleases Him.

Please define Gnosticism according to 1 John, and then tell me what I am advocating that is similar or equal to this antichrist belief.

My point is that everything God does is to glorify His name. Even Jesus said that's what He did in John 17.
Whatever else may be purposed is subservient to the glory of God.

I agree with the Bible. It says we are new creatures in Christ and that we have been washed and made clean in Jesus. Does anyone disagree?

Romans 8:1

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

Have you ever tried to be silent before the Lord and learn by experience how much He loves you?
It took me some serious suffering in my life to get me to be quiet long enough, but this transformed how I understand Him now.

God's ultimate desire is to be one with Him in the beauty of holiness.
And in this, all other issues are addressed.

Anyone who doesn't know he is a sinner is deceived and the truth is not in him (1 John 1:8), and regardless of what he thinks, he will continue to sin all the days of this life.
We've been reborn into a child of God, and childen of God are not sinners. Yet we still live in our flesh body, and have not come to control it completely.

Much love!

Correct, if persecuted, simply remember:

2Ti_2:12 "If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him..."

Grace, Peace, And JOY In The LORD JESUS CHRIST,
And In His Word Of Truth, Rightly
Divided
(+ I and II).

Honest question. Why does Christianity produce so many people who condemn others over Bible interpretation? Just after I saw you command someone to repent, it reminded me how yesterday someone told me to repent as well, but that doesn’t explain what to do exactly.

Are you saying repent from not understanding the Bible the same way as you or are you saying repent from sin(s)? If so, what is the specific sin in this case?

Does Mission Impossible say this: that a born again person is literally Jesus Christ? If so, can you refer to that particular post?

All Christians may sin, and as such anyone who commits sin can be called a sinner. This is on the level of our flesh.

But when we are born again at the spirit level, we are changed into a new person and become a saint rather than a sinner.
