Here's a screenshot from Amazon
some people are sick

I looked it up myself and found this (among a whole buncha other stuff)

Context
Author Helgard Müller said that he believes there are two Christs, with Jesus being the son of God who was betrayed by Judas, and Trump being the son of man who was "betrayed by [former U.S. Vice President Mike] Pence." He also claimed that his book, "President Donald J. Trump, The Son of Man - The Christ," was not satire.
I don't know how many believe that, but it's inspired from the pit IMO

I did not say you were wrong, dear friend. You gave your opinion and I gave mine. God Bless.
that is still not what the op is about

it is about Trump's method of attacking people and name calling

it is not about who we are going to vote for ... I am not giving an opinion...I posted a fact from a factual site that is commenting on the fact that Trump made fun of DeSantis

why is that so hard to understand? smh

also found this concerning that sick book by Muller

Another Facebook commenter asked for an explanation, posting, "What!!?? Trump...The Christ? Are you pulling our leg?" Müller provided an answer by pointing to his interpretation of Bible verses, saying he believed the son of God to be Jesus Christ, and the son of man to be Trump, meaning he believed there to be two Christs:

You know that Jesus, the Son of God always spoke about the Son of MAN in a third person?
"For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words (Jesus, the Son of God), of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels."
Have you not notice how Jesus, the Son of God spoke in the first person about himself and always referred to the Son of MAN in the third person?

are you one those who believe in the 'Manifest Sons of God' if not, maybe you do not know this, but you are sounding like one

this 'perfect will' does not occur on this planet. we can pray that God's will be done as Jesus instructed us, but too many seem to think they have no part to play in that and that somehow God will just pull some strings and everything will fall into place

at any rate, none of it changes the fact that Trump is a loose cannon and I do not believe he is or ever was, a Christian

you can believe that if you want to
Are you
one of those" who likes to stereotype and label people as being "one of those"?
I don't know what the "manifest blah, blah, blah" are, don't really want to.

If His perfect will is not done here, the problem is not on His end.
In the Lord's Prayer we seek His perfect will every time we pray.
best wishes anyway:):coffee::unsure:

no that would be you

I have read a number of your posts wherein you tell people they are not saved

or you scold them for disagreeing with you

I have truly never seen anything like it. I start a thread that has nothing to do with anyone here and people think it is their life's work to either misconstrue what I posted or, like you, try to tell me what I should believe

you put a sad face on a post that was not even in response to you which means you think I need you to correct me...that's just a little self righteous IMO and above your pay grade. Trump, with his nastiness is ok by you though

If you have chosen to be offended by my post I am sorry for that.
Your post 15 sought to stereotype and label, we shouldn't do that.

best wishes

I see things about Trump I didn't see during his 4 years. I think many people liked what he did for the country...policies...but his childish rants and name calling are indicative of a narcissist who thinks everything is about him

he is blaming others for his standing behind Walker....including his wife.

that info can be found even on the Fox channel

it's like the Emperor's new clothes with him.....he thinks he is all that when he really is not that

I'm not going to say that all Trump supporters are tin foil hat crazy but there is definitely a correlation between Trump and tin foil hat craziness like q anon
The people who think there's a couple of child raping cannibals running the world
One of my favorite podcasters, Sam Harris said something that I thought was funny and thoughtful.
On the right you have Trumpistan on the left you have Woke-istan and they both create each other

Except for "wokeness" preceded "Tumpistan" for many years.

Trumpistan is a reaction to "woke" because the woke crew seeks to tear down, where as Trump followers were trying to preserve.

As per usual, Sam Harris doesn't get it.

there is some interesting truth in that statement

either way, this country is not ever going to go back to how it was even 5 yrs ago.....too little too late

about the best we are going to see, is a slow down of the roll of the wokies

the left has had control over this country for years no matter who was in the White House. they took over all education years back and started indoctrination until we end up with quasi commies who think its the best thing since nice cold butter on rye bread (while I like that anyway) with the exceptions being home schooling and private schooling. I was not raised in the US but since living here now, it becomes obvious as to how things have played out.

I also think the GOP have been basically all about themselves which is why the left has done whatever they want

now however, things have gone so far that even the rip van winkle right has gone 'when did this happen?' sad

it took covid and remote learning to wake up parents and even democrat parents are outraged over the twisted sex ed their children are being exposed to

I am neither Democrat nor Republican...if anything, I would be Libertarian, but it's a waste of a vote to vote that way :cautious:

so, what am I left with? choosing what I think is the lesser evil? shrugs

sure that is why folks voted for Mr Ego. and enjoyed the next 4 years of false accusations, 2 fake impeachment attempts and various other circus quality nonsense that even a soap opera would be hard pressed to duplicate.

the policies were great and so they were attached to Trump, which, is where, in fact, they did come from

preservation of idealist institutions in this country is almost just a dream at this point.....the 1619 project? not history but is now being taught as such

now that Musk has control of Flickr, the left is doing their best to destroy Flickr.....by left meaning extreme ideologies that have never worked but have been swallowed whole by those who have an agenda to bring the US down ... that is not conspiracy

sigh

I disagree. I like De Santis, but I like Trump too. If both run in 2024, let them campaign and debate fairly and freely and let the better man win.
That would be foolish. These campaigns require you to tear down the other guy. If they campaign against each other they help the Democrats divide and conquer.

If they both want to run for President then the question is what would be the ideal job for Desantis in a Trump administration. Secretary of State would give him 4 years of foreign policy experience which he will be lacking as a governor. Desantis would be a powerful ally in the campaign. In six years Desantis can run for President with Kari Lake as his VP.

are you here just to put x's with no explanation because you have a different viewpoint?

it's a public forum, but discussion is the norm (or arguing as the case may be)

disagree all you want, but this country is NOT on God's side....we are actually to be on HIS side

Trump is not the heir apparent you and others seem to think that he is...he is a loudmouth schnook aka narcissist

don't forget your little x now

Think I will vear off a little and post some interesting things regarding all these 'prophecies' about Trump (that I think he has taken to heart)

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Lance Wallnau used to be a corporate marketer who privately believed that power lay in prophetic revelation. Then came 2015, and he began sharing a word from God: Donald Trump was “anointed.”

my commentary on the word 'anointed'. That word has been inexcusably overused and thrown around like cheap authentication from God Himself. This anointing is supposed to empower a person to function with God's power through them and with God's choosing. However, what we seem to have are people who believe themselves anointed and able to pass that anointing on or point out the anointing on others.

continuing the article:
Seven years later, prophecy is booming. And for Wallnau, it’s been a busy run-up to the midterm.

In July, Wallnau prayed over Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) before a cheering Atlanta arena audience. By early September, he was at a conference outside Colorado Springs with Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.). And, a few days after that, here he was in the suburbs of Harrisburg, Pa., for GOP gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano, whom he compared to George Washington at Valley Forge.

“Now there’s another Christian colonel who is in charge,” Wallnau told the crowd of hundreds standing in a suburban restaurant parking lot. “They may out-gather, they may outmaneuver, and in my opinion they may know how to out-cheat. But they cannot outflank us if we move as one. … The whole country will be affected by what happens in Pennsylvania.”

All over the country this year, figures like Wallnau, hailing from the right wing of prophetic and charismatic Christianity, have been appearing with candidates as part of a growing U.S. religious phenomenon that emphasizes faith healing, the idea that divine signs and wonders are everywhere, and spiritual warfare.

Longtime watchers of religion in the United States say this rise of prophetic figures is the result of multiple forces. Among them are a collapse of trust in institutional sources of information, the growth of charismatic Christianity and its accompanying media ecosystems, and a Trump presidency that brought in from the fringe spiritual figures long rejected by the political and evangelical establishments.
“For two millennia of church history, people have been claiming to be prophets,” said Matthew Sutton, a Washington State University historian of American religion who has focused on apocalyptic and charismatic Christians. “But it’s a new tactic in the United States for it to be part of waging culture war.”

(you can reads the rest if so inclined (although you might need a free membership to the Washington Post) following the link in blue up at the top)

anyone want to comment on this phenomena? maybe I'll make a separate thread on this...not sure:)

My understanding of anointing as it pertains to those in leadership positions is that they are chosen of God. This is why David would not kill him when the opportunity presented itself.
Also, it is a reason to pray for them.
God may exercise power in their behalf but I don't see a personal enduing of power given.

I understand what anointing means...thanks. I am actually wondering what people think of the word being used for political candidates as per the article I quoted.

In other words, what do you (general population here and not anyone in particular) think of this? Is this a movement from God or is it a movement from the religious right who believe they are creating prophetic utterances (not taking into account the failures and yes there are many such as the prophecy that Trump would have a 2nd term....the failure of this to occur, has been brushed aside by these prophets saying he will have a 2nd term but just not right after the 1st one)

Hope I cleared up what I am really wondering about? I do have my own belief about it all, but just wondering how others perceive this trend

thanks

Of course you are on track Cameron, His gifts are from Him.
He was clear that most in these days would have an outward form of Godliness denying the power, only those genuinely "in Him" would do the greater works than He.
Many of us are seeing these "Greater works" today.
best wishes friend.
