No one said you had to come in the summer. Spring Break is usually mid 80's or 90's. And then winter is usually pretty nice, except for when it ices over the roads in Dallas.

I'm not afraid of much, but going anywhere NEAR the scrapestead is kinda scary to think about.
Texas isn't bad in Spring or Fall. Along the coastline the humidity is..ugh, but farther inland it's actually very nice, especially in the hill country North of San Antonio (near LBJ's ranch).

LOL! Bless your heart, Amber. I guess I was just used to it. You are right, there's no winter. Most of my family members don't even own coats, so they won't visit me up here when it's cold.

One winter about 6 or 7 years ago, we had a bad "snow storm." It was more like an ice storm. There was about an inch of ice then 2 inches of snow then another inch of ice. School was shut down for 3 days. It was really funny watching people try to walk on it. I was in college at the time and students were using trash can lids and rubbermaid totes to sled in.

I do have a really thick sweater, but I don't have a coat. I refuse to go anywhere up north in the winter. I'll freeze to death the moment I leave the airport! lol Besides, San Antonio is abs\]olutely beautiful in December. You should come back and see it.
