I'm not dodging anything. Over 60% of abortions are due to poverty and you see more poverty in Black communities.
But anyway how did we get on abortions because that's not even what this thread is about?

My grandmother raised 5 boys on her own. If you sit and listen to stories of my father and how little they had, and they all slept in one bed, you'd almost think he recalls those days fondly. The Salvation Army brought them presents one year, he never forgot it. Should he and his brothers have been aborted because of poverty? You know what, not one of those men continued in poverty. Everyone a successful member of society. All of them had children, who had children and now we are coming into another generation. When you abort a child you aren't just killing that child, you are killing his seed. If black women continue to kill their babies that this rate there will be no minority to speak of or represent them. As a Canadian I hear Dems/ progressives today talk about everything and everyone being "racist". But two subjects they won't talk about is Planned Parenthood and black and black crime. Because those are the two main reasons for black deaths today, other than health issues. Margret Sanger was a racist, and poverty was one of the reasons she used for a woman to be sterilized, which then became abortion, poverty. Well poverty has raised some wonderful people. Listen to country music and people like Dolly Parton and they sing songs of growing up poor, but they didn't remain there. Think of how many well known people today who grew up in poverty, should they have been aborted? If you can't afford to raise your children, should you be allowed to kill them? Of course not, that's murder, same goes for abortion.

No I just thought it was funny how you quoted someone who was atheist who openly ridiculed religion thinking it was a sick burn

Atheists are wrong about God, doesn't mean they're wrong about everything.

It was word salad because the claims that abortion were sold on have not been true and they have dropped it like a lead balloon.

Abortion does not help the poor. It does the same damage that drug dealers, Casinos and sex workers do.

Dealing with crime and addiction is far more expensive than just having after school programs for every kid. Why is it that poorer countries like Taiwan don't have this problem? Because they gobble up 100% of the kids into public school from morning to night.
Pretty sure they also have higher chain suicide rates

This is a sinful world. It is all under the evil one. The point is not that Taiwan is a utopia, a shining light on a city on the hill, the point is we don't need the horrific inner city situations we have in this country. The point is that this is not some hocum theory, you can go to other countries and see that this is the case. The US is the exception, not the rule.

They use these statistics to sucker people. Why do they give to BLM? Do they want to help the inner city? Suckers! BLM doesn't care anything for the inner city. The inner city being as bad as it is is what makes it possible for BLM to rake in millions. They don't want that to change.
Black Americans are to BLM what the poor were to Lenin: A means to an end, that end being totalitarian power.

In case anyone is missing the point, I am not pushing for some new government program, initiative, nor am I saying that if you were to vote for this candidate or that candidate things will get better. What I am saying is that the whole world lies in the evil one. If they were serious about crime, poverty and education in the US these things could all be fixed, but that isn't the real problem.

The real problem is that the CIA wants the drug trade, they profit from it.

The real problem is we have gangsters who have gone legit with their casinos.

The real problem is that the Moloch and Baal worshippers demand abortions. They want child sacrifice, they want pedophilia, and that is why we have sex traffickers, an open border, and 460,000 kids going missing every year in the US.

The real problem is that our government leaders are bought off. Not every last one, you don't need to do that. Just enough to make sure you get your votes and your policies. Biden, Pelosi, and all the fat cats are bought off. As a result you don't have shepherds, you have hired hands.

The extent of this is beyond what anyone realized previously. They control all the main stream media, all the bots on the internet, and quite a few of the influencers on social media. This is why they celebrate a guy like the head of FTX. No one is afraid of the law, or justice, or being exposed.

Now here is the good news, things are about to get a whole lot worse. The reason that is good news is that the rapture will be the reason things get so bad on the earth. Also, even for those left behind they will get to see what compromising with Satan results in. We should see a great revival, a lot of people saved as they face war, famine and pestilence. As people watch 2 billion killed during the beginning of the tribulation many will have their come to Jesus moment.

My point is I don't think totalitarianism is the answer. Kids don't want to be treated like prisoners with no social life

my point is that this is no longer up for debate. The Antichrist will institute his totalitarian regime shortly and then everyone in the world can reassess their opinion on this matter.

Rome fell because they tried to spread themselves too thin. People who try to take over the world tend to fail eventually
In the first amendment closed to the Constitution literally says you can't pass laws that privilege anyone religion, that includes yours
Many variables brought Rome down but each played a significant role that played its part. It is hardly ever or probably never just one reason.

It prevents the government from making laws that regulate an establishment of religion, or that prohibit the free exercise of religion.

What makes protecting a heterosexual monogamous marriage privilege towards the establishment of a religion?

Do laws on murder violate this because murder is condemned in the Bible as well?

False equivalency. If you think a consensual relationship between two adults equates to taking someone's life then you're not connected to reality

Idk why but I feel like this needs to be said.

As Christians we can agree that LGBT matters are sinful just like any of the full spectrum of sexual immorality.

We are commanded to discriminate against sin to protect the flock and the church.

This doesn't mean we are without love. It simply points to the fact those living in sin need a Savior just like all of us.

The Great commission for Paul did not stop at the gates of government. He used his rights to make his way to Caesar.

“To Caesar you have appealed; to Caesar you shall go.” (Acts 25:6–12 (ESV)

Cornelius was converted and slowly people like him began to change the culture as well.

Our government was set up as a Comstitutional Republic with it's laws foundation mainly from English law. William Blackstone and John Locke being two main sources. Both quote the Bible in large extents. Then you add the founding fathers debates and journals. The Bible is the most referenced source.

The first Capitol church service that Jefferson attended as President was a service preached by Jefferson's friend, the Rev. John Leland, on January 3, 1802.

Jefferson must have not understood the 1st Amendment in relation to government.

The point being. Any human government legislates morality. Right and wrong. The Communist China and America legislate morality very differently. The CCP morality comes from the leader. America's came from the Biblical God. As to why no man or government gets to dictate human rights. They come from God alone. This was an extreme progressive way of thinking coming out of feudalism.

We take for granted the foundation grounded in God that protected and fought for the rights to criticize the very same morality that gave us such liberty and prosperity.

What we have here is a failure of communication...

You fail to see the equivalency.

Your equating that to protect by law heterosexual monogamous marriages this would privilege a religion.

Using the same logic: the religion you are referring to is Christianity. The Bible calls both homosexuals and murder a sin.
*** EQUIVALENCY***

So I ask again why is the legislation of murder that comes from the Bible, okay? But not homosexuality?

The argument of no harm done has been refuted plenty of times. God doesn't call something a sin in less it is harmful to us physically, mentally, or spiritually.

Each are important to the health of society.

I do believe in a post-trib rapture, so I expect to remain behind if this happens in my lifetime. Fun times. But, a proving ground for sure.

In the meantime, I will fight for the US the way the patriots did in the 1700s, the way they did in the Civil War, etc. Until I know it's the end and the books are going to be opened, I will fight to keep this nation as holy as I can with what little influence I have.

Things can get better. They will never be perfect, we'll always have the poor among us. But, they can be improved. I say we keep pushing for that until we no longer can.

It's a false equivalency because laws are based on harm prevention. So if you injure me or still or damage my property, I can press charges.
A same sex couple getting married harms no one
Also I know I've said this 15 billion times in here but America is a constitutional republic. We're not a theocracy.
Not everyone in America is Christian and not everyone wants to see America turned into the Christian version of Saudi Arabia

True... but, the founders also would never have approved of this. It was not in their original intent that something like this should be a right. They wanted stable, normal, healthy families. The best scenario for that is one male and one female parent, as each sex brings something unique to the child-rearing table. (I speak from some personal experience on this, but experience that is too personal to elaborate on here.) And, they wanted a generic form of Christianity promoted publicly -- yes, publicly -- because they saw it as the best way to keep the republic free. People who fear the Biblical God will best police themselves. They'll be no need for a police state. The first amendment prohibits the government from getting in bed with a specific Christian denomination. It was never meant to exclude Christian thought from the public square. That is a perversion of the Left.

Did they want a theocracy? Absolutely not. But, they did want a generic brand of Christianity 'encouraged' in the public square. Does this mean they would arrest a Muslim or a Jew? Not at all. Religious freedom is religious freedom. But, they wanted the nation and its official ideals based on the Bible, and the general population embracing Christianity -- or at least Christian morals.

Also the amendment clause to the Constitution says all laws must serve a secular purpose.
The secular purpose for making murder illegal is no one who's not a complete psychopath wants to live in a country where murder is legal.
Religion irrelevant

This is a poor understanding of what it actually does. The free exercise of religion doesn't serve a secular purpose.

The colonies had enacted laws that were straight from Scripture on this subject. This may be one reason God chose to bless us with more freedoms and prosperity than those nations who forsook the Lord.

Free exercise of religion doesn't mean you can force your religion on others
American Christians.. my religion says it's wrong to do that.
Me. Okay then don't do it
American Christians... My religion also says you can do that
Me.. I am under no legal obligation to follow your religion

Secularism (without God) has no place in a righteous and moral society. Now the cities celebrate who God calls abominations.
