Depends which aspect you're talking about.
For product selection I'm definitely an omega male. I use what works for me. I let other people determine what is popular and care about what they decided is popular.
For organization in a group... Well I'm not part of many groups. Is that standard for omegas?
At church I'm probably more a beta male, though I don't really fit that classification. But when others are deciding what to do, I don't even bother deciding what my opinion is on what we should do. I don't really care.
Now when it comes to deciding HOW we will do what they decided we will do, I got all the opinions in the world. I'm pretty good at implementing what other people want to do.
Call me a henchman. I know that's traditionally a beta male position, but I can probably do it better than he can anyway.
why is it only men that gets called beta or alpha etc. there is no such thing among women
I'm gonna guess because it was a concept created by selfish men looking to justify their selfishness and poor treatment of others by making it inherent to success and being top dog.
Probably comes from the study of wolf packs and the words humans chose to describe the social relationships in the pack.
Granted good leadership is important and our society is prejudiced against masculinity, but isn't the idea alpha male conjures up a guy who is to be envied even though he's a heartless jerk?

Betas are like subscribers and Alphas are like content creators on YouTube if that makes any kind of sense.
Like on a chess board you have 1 king and 8 of those little bald dudes, they can't ever become the king or have a purpose/game of their own but they can become some of his strongest supporters.

Alpha males are seen as the dominate/leader types. They're the take charge type of personalities. They tend towards higher levels of testosterone. Tend to be more physically oriented and competitive.
Athletes, heads of business are a few examples of the types of jobs you find them in.
Their downsides tend to be more disconnected from feelings/emotions. They have a higher tendency towards being abusive in relationships.
Workaholics.
Betas tend to be more creative minded. Artists and writers and such.
They can be more in touch with feelings and emotions and not so driven to be in charge, or career driven.
This allows them to be more empathetic and understanding.
Downsides are they can be more depressive.
Ideally neither of them are 'better' in my view. Each serves a purpose the other cannot.
Traditionally women tend to be more generally similar. Whereas the distinctions between men tend to be more obvious. Think of 80s movies. The jock vs the need, for example. The alpha vs the beta. But this distinction dynamic isn't common with women.
Though as feminism has become more popular and gone through changes in modern times you see it happening more with women. Essentially copying behavior naturally shown by men.
The notion of alphas and betas seems to stem from nature. First that comes to mind is wolves. Wolves tend to travel in packs. The pack leader is the alpha. These are always males.
As far as what an omega is, not heard of that so I looked it up. They strike me as a bit more of a loner.
Hmm... Gonna have to disagree with you on this one. I've known some definite alpha-type personalities, and some almost comically stereotypical beta guys.
Sometimes a beta guy is the only one who can get the girl, because some girls will only tolerate guy who agrees with everything the girls say.
I think that there are many reasons why men and women lack the masculine or feminine traits that are appropriate to those TWO sexes. It starts at birth.
1. Soy formula. Infant formula is designed to mess up the endocrine system of those babies. Soy bean formula is as dangerous as spiking their food with birth control pills. The estrogen levels are scary high. Then you have malnourishment that retards normal development. Add to that the high toxicity of glyphosate/ Round Up weed killer. Mother's Don't think of their babies as weeds they want to kill! It's in high amounts in all the commercial formulas.
Then the parents wonder why their girls start puberty way too young and boys are feminized.
I've got half a dozen more reasons, but it's getting late and I've got things to do before bedtime.

I've given it some thought and study.
Young parents should take heed. I devoted a big chunk of my life to the study of human development and health. There are WAY too many hazards the devil has laid for their children. I believe that we believers who studied these issues owe it to others to bless and warn about Satan's devices.
While considering what Greek letter I'd be, I stepped outside the choices given and thought I'd rather be Sigma so, I looked it up and see that there is actually a Sigma type. This is an introverted version of the Alpha that stands outside the hierarchy by choice and is considered to be the "lone wolf" (the Omega prefers a small group of friends for emotional support). The Sigma has the best chance of challenging the Alpha and winning but would rather not bother with it. John Wick is given as an example of a Sigma male. Wow! I'm a badass!
