They are in the process of cutting us off. They are disgusted with having the US be the leader of the world. China and Russia and OPEC view themselves as the rightful leaders of the world.

It will hurt China too which is why they will make sure they get all their Christmas sales in first, but in the end the US is only 5% of the world's population and they can be replaced.

If China can seize control of the reserve currency they'll survive, the only thing they want from the US is our agricultural production.

As to Griner China, Russia and the Islamic countries do not have a drug problem anywhere even close to the scale of the problem in the US. They would never take advice from you or anyone in the US on how they should "improve".

Cartels get richer due to Monopoly on criminalized drugs
Cartels have more money to bring in more drugs
Also putting people in prison for harmless drugs like cannabis is just a waste of resources and taxpayer money

I know of NO ONE who rejoiced over her situation, those people are not in my circle of trusted sources.
Of course it is an innocuous amount of an innocuous substance and no one should suffer that penalty, and in the way the russians are famous for.
You again place a high value on your "opinion", as though it matters.
Our "opinions" are important, but they don't matter, as Created individuals we are to serve and follow the guidance of the Creator whose plan is always perfect.

Well China is literally putting Christians in Muslims in concentration camps.
Islamic countries are making women walk around wearing trash bags in 130° weather.
If you find any of this morally acceptable then that says more about you than it does me
For the few states in America that have legalized cannabis, it brings in a lot of tax revenue for the state.
Putting people in jail for a plant is just a waste of taxpayer money and resources
That money could be better spent like feeding homeless people

Seems completely irrelevant to this discussion. The discussion was about a 9 year prison sentence for drugs in Russia. Since Russia doesn't have a drug problem and the US does it seems absurd to think they would listen to you say that this penalty is excessive.

You then said that the US and the free world should "cut them off". So 15% of the world cuts off 80% of the world.

These two comments of yours are incredibly arrogant. You seem to completely miss that the rest of the world does not respect the US and does not listen to them. Perhaps 50 years ago they did, but that has changed.

You also seem to miss the fact that the world does not need the US. We don't produce anything they need. We need them, they don't need us.

True they appreciate the land, but not the Americans. They want the agriculture and perhaps will keep the farmers, but if they had to eliminate everything else it wouldn't bother them at all.

Do you respond to that? No you say they are genocidal maniacs who are tyrants. OK, and how does that change anything? Are genocidal tyrants going to listen to a pothead tell them about what their drug laws should be? No. Would genocidal tyrants decide not to wipe out 65% of America because it would be too horrible?
