Yes amen wise brother

“And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”

And yet Christ said that He had come to bring a "sword" which would pit father against son, and mother against daughter. So on one side Christ makes His disciples peacemakers (when there are earthly disputes), but allows enmity against His disciples when it comes to faithfulness to Himself and the Gospel. All the apostles were martyred because they refused to compromise the true Gospel and deny Christ.

choose you this day whom ye will serve
The Calvinists hate this Scripture in Joshua. According to them you are a robot incapable of making critical choices which have a bearing on your eternal destiny. God decides if you will be saved or lost, and if your are damned then "tough luck".

Beautiful Passage. Thanks for the reminder.
amen brother always appreciate your posts also because of the abundance of the word in them always read and enjoy your thinking because their usually always set on a foundation of what God said in Christ

What I notice and share here in my thoughts alot of times is or else was before , for my own self to learn from and then I realized it was or is helpful to me and maybe some other who might relate but maybe not to everyone

and I think it’s okay because we’re all needing different things at different times to help us at the present day so there’s a lot of things being said that are
Anyone who believes in Jesus is being saved sometimes we don’t know anything so we need to hear this

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

There’s so much in Jesus words like tbat full Of grace and faith for salvation, then wisdom comes to help Us grow up as we go through life ( just my own experience and perspective )

We find alot of inspiration , encouragement , faith , wisdom , knowledge and truth in scripture especially when it’s about Jesus a hope shines forth on it all a hope of everlasting life for all who believe in him

Its good to share and discuss scriptures and lessons we learn from them but in life and personal experiences also , some have even Shared dreams they had , others are really good at Hebrew language and can help explain translation issues , others can tell you a really neat story about thier life , and how the lord helped them or blessed them

Others can give you a lot of encouragement to keep your head up even when it’s hard

if we worked together in great humility as a body we would be complete and alot would change in the church and the earth

amen brother

I think the sword is you either accept the gospel or you don’t that really often seperates a people away from one another

i am related to a few atheists one is a physicist rally nice guy but just totally convinced by science that the “God theory “ as he calls it , just isn’t reasonable and is “fools gold “

He is three years my younger, we were really close from about when I was maybe yonder bout ten , until maybe I was about 20- 21 I had returned from deployment

He had gone to a technical institute and went the way of salvation through worldly knowledge and he and I went out when I was home to catch up and there was a huge elephant because I mentioned how I’d been “making deals with God “

I’d been carrying a pocket Bible and praying to live through the month , barterin really because I didn’t understand a lot and was afraid to die

“Oh great lord “ I’d think and say “ I’ll read your word every day lord oh lord

a oh lord o bow down I’ll change this time if you get me through “

He then began to explain what a waste tbis was and how it just “helps me cope “ to pretend there’s a lot pace for me after I die.

since then he and I just really aren’t close in any way and were inseparable like brothers for a decade and the reason was faith one man believed the gospel and another didn’t do what I mean is

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that’s the sword that divides I think anyways

We’ve had alot of talks over the years and

My heart hurts for you.
The natural man can indeed read Scripture and not really see what God is trying to say. It's only by the Holy Spirit that things are revealed to us. But that doesn't mean that everything is obscured. The notion that the natural man has no idea about God is completely refuted by Scripture. There is no "regeneration" prior to Salvation like you seem to be putting out there... that's practically delusional, imho. There's only God giving nonbelievers glimpses of the human condition in regard to Almighty God, Truth. And I see that as Just and Merciful.

I agree with 1 Cor. 2:14 in that it tells us all how we are without Christ. I also see how this verse applies to you... but I'm sure you won't agree with that. Your man-made belief and false Gospel are blinding you to what is obvious to anyone... and I do believe that these verses that we've discussed are available to the natural man, Truth that is not obscured.

Praying for your eyes to be opened. Peace.

God is a Spirit, and his commandments are spiritual. The natural man "CANNOT" know the things of the Spirit of God, until he has been "regenerated" "quickened" "born again" "saved". "been changed from a natural man, to a spiritual man". Ln the following manner:

The natural man, who is spiritually dead in sins (Eph 2:1) is walking according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience, having their conversation in the lust of their flesh, fulfilling the desires of their flesh and of their minds. (Eph 1:2-3). But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he love he loved us, even when they were dead in sins, quickened them together with Christ. (by grace are they saved)

Your false doctrine allows you the ability to accuse a person of not being born again, just because he believes in a different doctrine than the one that you believe. The doctrine of Jesus teaches that you are born again, even though you are believing in a false doctrine, with the desire that you would repent.

The house of Israel is made up of all of God's elect, most of whom turned away from him, and started worshiping idols (which includes those who are believing false doctrines, such as yourself). God blinded their eyes to seeing the truths contained in the scriptures, until they repent.

Glory be to God, he left in the midst of them a remnant, who were an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the Lord. They shall do no iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth, for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid. (Zeph 3:11-13).

It all boils down to "who will hear his voice", and that is not the natural man.
We all begin as the natural man and when I heard the knock I could have rejected it the same way the majority has.

But I cherish the fact that I didn't reject God but accepted His invitation.

yes. if someone is standing at a door and knocking then it stands to reason that if they are allowed to come in then they were invited in. I was a little confused why they were challenging this so much at first, but then I realized because it's because many things in the Bible are threat to Calvinism.

Calvinism wants regenerations before faith, but ,to have faith, a bit of regeneration must occur first. As result, they've caught themselves in a theological pickle.

I think it mainly stems from the false belief that non-Christians can't do anything good or come to believe in God through knowledge and understanding.
Amen!

You are the ome adding your personal theology to scripture. Not one of those passages say one word about inviting Jesus into any bodily organs.
Ephesians says Jesus lives in our hearts through Faith.

So if heart is not an organ than what is it?

If that were true, none could be convicted of their sin by the Holy Spirit of God.

But I tell you the truth, it is for your benefit that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate
will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. And when He comes, He will convict the
world in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: in regard to sin, because they do not believe
in Me; in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see Me;
and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world has been condemned.

1 Timothy2 :

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time. 7 And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying—and a true and faithful teacher of the Gentiles.
Amen!

This doctrine of your own making supposes that some (like yourself) are "elected" prior to birth and therefore born Saved. If that were the case, you're in no need of a Savior because you're already Saved... folks like you, according to your false gospel, don't need to be born-again because you were born unto the Spirit at birth and to me, that's untenable in light of Scripture.

And that you teach this false gospel to others is despicable. You sow confusion and discord and ultimately damnation. ALL people are born "unregenerate" and separated from God and must call upon Him to be Saved. Yet according to you, nobody can call upon God because they are "unregenerate". You've totally made it impossible for anyone to be saved... and therefore are blocking people from entering into God. (Matt. 23: 13 “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in.)

The "all" in Scripture means ALL. Salvation is open to all of mankind. You can pretend that you have been specially chosen by God to be a vessel of honor while others were made to dishonor. And smugly suggest to them that life was never meant to be fair. And you can fellowship with other people who you believe are also vessels of honor. But I prefer to follow Jesus and speak to those who are in need of a Savior... folks like you aren't in need of a physician are you?

Salvation=deliverance, saved=delivered, save=deliver, according to Greek translation.

Eternal deliverance was achieved on the cross only for those that the Father gave to his Son (John 6:39)

All other salvation (deliverance) scriptures are deliverances that can be received here in this world by those that he died for due to their good works.

There is an eternal deliverance by the sovereign grace of God, without the help of mankind, and there is a deliverance by good works here on earth for those that Christ died for.
