The guy in that video is confused, as are so many others. We're not called to give anything to Christ except our faith and trust. God wants us to trust in Him and obey His word. On the mount of transfiguration, when Moses and Elijah appeared and talked with Jesus, the first thing out of Peter's mouth was: "Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah." And what was Gods answer? He interrupted Peter and said: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!" (Matthew 17)
A whole lot of people are running around trying to figure out their "assignment," and what they can do for the Lord, when all they really need to do is sit at Jesus' feet like Mary (Martha's sister, not the mother of Jesus) and listen to Him. (Luke 10) Like Martha, people are so worried about what they can do for the Lord when it's so simple. All they have to do is listen to Him and believe Him. It's not complicated but a lot of people make it complicated.
