How often do you read/watch/listen to the news?

How often do you read/watch/listen to the news?

How often do you read/watch/listen to the news?

Note, I'm not talking about just checking the weather or latest sports scores.

I mean catching up on local and world events, the business world, news related to christians, new discoveries about health, science and medicine, whats going on in politics, the economy, upcoming movies and reviews, etc..

I'm a news junkie and am curious to see how often everyone else checks out the news.

I have the news on in the morning while I'm getting ready for work. I listen to it in my car on the way to work. I have news feeds coming at me from every direction all day long. Can't get enough. :) BUT, I rarely read a newspaper. haha
 
Since Im a political science major we basically have to stay on top of the news with class anyways...so i watch it at least once a day. Even if it is just The Daily Show and The Colbert Report
 
I have my Greader full of Christian paper feeds, psychology feeds and man tech feeds. I am connected to news around the world almost all day.

When I go on vacation, I have to unconnect in order to get my brain settled a bit.
 
I usually read them twice a week or if something important is happening, i have tried to read news in the morning but they stress me and i cant read them at night because i cant sleep or have nightmares.
 
I get most of my news from online. I really don't care to watch news on TV. Watcing/reading news online allows you to look at only the things you want to and avoiding the rest of the junk.
 
TONS! I watch tons. I have a hobby blog site dedicated to news headlines. My twitter account is subscribed to like 2000+ news sources. So yeah. Big news junkie here.
 
I have to as I work campaigns and write satire. That said, I tend to ignore a lot of it. Most of what is reported is simply bilge.

I get on these news watching jags where I just watch it and nothing else.....I listen to the news on the radio in my car until I get sick of it and have to have some down time.

I live in a country that 'sanitizes' the news.. so I am online a lot searching for the real news.. I love reading news/newspapers etc. News Junkie!
 
Television news is generally horrible and destroys the spirit.

My grandmother-in-law lives alone and doesn't have a lot going on. She watches Fox News all day every day and I'm considering making her a foil hat. It's getting really hard to talk to her because she's scared to death of absolutely everything now and thinks everything is a big conspiracy. She cannot talk about normal things.

My friend's father is the same way. He watches Fox all the time and he's gone completely insane and can't carry on normal conversations anymore.

I'm sure it would be that way no matter what 24 hour news channel you watch ALL DAY, although you may see conspiracies and enemies in different places.

I do read the news online every day. I mostly skim headlines and read articles that grab my interest. I've started using feedly, which is awesome. I recommend it.

Notice the common denominator of Fox News...that channel is as worthless as a screen door on a submarine
 
Our receptionist only watches FOX news and emails me conspiracy theory emails...all...day...long. *sigh*
 
i watch the new and read the papers every day pretty much with studying social sciences , but have always been interested in uk and world news since i was young ,
 
such a shame! my tv has no antenna..couldnt get a signal...:( good thing there's yahoo news! read it everyday esp omg...eheheh
