I used to identify as Republican. But these days both Republicans and Democrats identify as "Spoiled Brats Who Pitch A Fit If You Disagree With Anything They Say."

These days I identify as independent. Like, independent of all that drama and junk they got going on.

I don't have any political affiliation. I got tired of being used.

You're the one trolling,
You always have something negative to say. You could have just scrolled past if you're not interested in the topic

This made me grin.

Mostly because it's exactly the kind of thing lanolin would say in her own threads when somebody comes in to make the same comment she made in this thread.

Now I am eager to see how she takes her own medicine.

I'm a Monarchist.
Meaning that I believe that monarchies are the best form of government. No voting in monarchies and all the dumb voices of the people are silenced.

Just ask what happens in Saudi Arabia when you speak out against the King...

Only if I am the Monarchist!
Maybe I will run.

No sane person would WANT to be responsible for this mess.

Shoot, Solomon was in charge of a nation directly under God's care and even HE got nervous about doing the job right. :p

No, it's not. His priorities are correct, but the answer was typical of too many Christians who take their political freedom for granted, and who are too heavenly-minded to be any earthly good.

You don't have to be involved in politics to do good. The Christian right has brainwashed people to think the only way to get anything done is through political channels. But this is the lazy person's solution and 9 times out of ten nothing gets done.

Monarchy?
A king who stays in power for life and can do whatever he wants because you can't vote him out? What could possibly go wrong?

Things go a LOT better than with the system we currently use.

No more pandering to those who want to be like another nation...no more gubbermint cheese.

Just remember France....where they kill their kings too.

A king only exists because of popular support. Israel divided because most did not support the king.

Bull. You can chew gum and walk at the same time -- and should.
