She begged Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter. 27 “First let the children eat all they want,” he told her, “for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.” 28 “Lord,” she replied, “even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.” 29 Then he told her, “For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter.” 30 She went home and found her child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.

Right now we have a lot of demon possessed children. If there is even the slightest hint of an insult they want to cancel a person. They examine twenty years of things they have said in interviews, posts, even jokes at home, and even the slightest insult sets them off. We need the faith of the syrophoenician woman. She is called a dog by the Lord, she doesn’t explode, get angry, take revenge, attempt to cancel Him. No, she says OK, I’m a dog, but even dogs have the right to live and to eat. The Lord said He was the bread for the children of Israel and she said Lord, they have “cancelled you”, they have thrown you on the floor, surely the dogs get to eat the bread that falls from the table. If you want to follow the Lord you need to embrace being a “deplorable”. You are the lowest rung on the social ladder. Embrace that, no one is lower than you. Not only so but rejoice in that, if Israel had not thrown Jesus off the table the Gentiles (us) would never have known salvation. This is such a blessing to know and follow Jesus while it is still not fashionable. The day will come when every knee will bow, that will be too late. You want to be one that bows the knee when it actually costs you something.

The rapture = when God pulls the ambassadors of the Kingdom out of the Earth

2Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

"The Time of Death" and "The time of Life".

Dr. Awe refers to these, our calendar given to us by the Roman Caesars begins the year in the time of death (winter), the Bible's calendar given to Moses begins the year in the time of life (Spring).

Therefore would the rapture make sense in the Spring? I don't think so.

1. The rapture is not where the story began. The time of "life" is also the time to take up your cross and be crucified (buried) so that you can bring forth much fruit. Those who are raptured are already bearing the cross. It is those who are left behind that will need "a new beginning".

2. The rapture is also where the story begins for Satan and the AntiChrist. So it does make sense that their year begins in the time of death.

3. 1Kings 1 we see a picture where David is old and near death meanwhile Adonijah, a type of the Antichrist tries a coup. So this is a picture of the start of the tribulation. They find David a young virgin to keep him warm. She is a picture of the raptured saints and the time of year is both the time of death and "winter" as he is cold, beneath the covers (snow?).

The Next appointed watch date

He thinks "the next appointed watch date" is a few months away, I think it is a few hours away. I have repeatedly said I expected the watch date to be part of the NT (Lord's Table, Sabbath, Christmas, Full Moon) all taking place today/tomorrow.

The Lord's table is a dress rehearsal for the wedding feast and our time in heaven after the rapture.

On the other hand the Lord's table is a feast to strengthen you to go to the cross for those left behind.

The sabbath is "the conclusion or end of the week". In Hebrews we are told to strive to get into the sabbath rest that still remains, ie the rapture.

I have shared extensively on Christmas. Today is the day the early church selected as the epiphany or appearing of the Lord. Dec 25th is Satan's jumping the gun (Adonijah and his feast).

Full moon is a reference to Proverbs where the adulterous woman says the good man of the house returns on the appointed day or the full moon.

1. Psalm 90:10 a generation is 70-80 years.

1948 — 80 years later is 2028 for the rebellious this is when their generation comes to an end. From 1953 when the land acquisition law was passed to 2023 is 70 years, a generation for those who are obedient.

1953 to 2023 is 70 years, this is the generation for the obedient ones. Queen Elizabeth was crowned queen in 1953 and it is 70 years to 2023.

2. Gen 12:4 Abram was 75 when he left Haran.

75 years from 1948 is 2023

3. In Revelation 12 the woman flees into the wilderness for 1260 days.

It has been 1,260 years since the Dome of the Rock was built (AD 688) and all the Jews have fled into the wilderness until 2023.

4. Genesis 5:23 Enoch lived for 365 years.

In 1658 we had the Savoy declaration with the key point that each local church would have autonomy. Since that point the Protestant churches have walked with God without having been under the thumb of the Pope or Catholic church.

From 1658 to 2023 is 365 years.

5. Revelation 20:2-7 Satan, the great dragon, is bound for 1,000 years.

The original dome of the rock collapsed and was rebuilt in 1023. From 1023 to 2023 is 1,000 years.

6. Daniel 12:11 11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

From AD 688 to AD 1978 is 1290 years. The camp David accords were in 1978 and set up a framework for peace between Israel and the Arabs.

7. Daniel 12:12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

1,335 years from 688 is 2023.

8. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Noah was 600 when the flood took place. His name means “rest” and when read in reverse in Hebrew it means grace. He was a key portion of the age of grace.

The Gutenberg Bible was first printed in 1455. From 1455 to 2023 is 568 years. This is a major portion of Noah’s life, and so we can infer that Noah walked with the Bible. The Bible is full of grace and truth, impossible to have the age of grace without the Bible.

32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Noah begins having children when he was 500. If that were 1923 the children would refer to the Mandate for Syria and Lebanon as the Ottoman Empire begins to be partitioned.

9. And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

In 1909 we have the Scofield Reference Bible with a vision of the apocalypse that has made “zionists” out of American Christians. 120 years later would be 2029 when we would estimate Armageddon would take place and Apophis will hit the earth.

Jesus Heals a Deaf and Mute Man

31 Then Jesus left the vicinity of Tyre and went through Sidon, down to the Sea of Galilee and into the region of the Decapolis. 32 There some people brought to him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk, and they begged Jesus to place his hand on him. 33 After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue. 34 He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him, “Ephphatha!” (which means “Be opened!”). 35 At this, the man’s ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly. 36 Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone. But the more he did so, the more they kept talking about it. 37 People were overwhelmed with amazement. “He has done everything well,” they said. “He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

This is the other issue we are seeing right now, there are people who have absolutely no idea what is going on. They hear no evil and speak no evil. Our fingers are members of our hands, and our hands are what we use to do work. These are the members who are doing the work to open up our ears. When you preach the gospel you are a finger, when someone speaks the truth they are a finger. MSNBC, Facebook, Twitter all have an agenda and they want to keep you from hearing the truth. However, more important than that is the spiritual warfare against speaking the Bible and speaking the word of truth. Still what you see is that people will learn who is speaking the truth to them. CNN claims to be the “most trusted name in news” no one believes that anymore. The NY Times claimed to print all the news that is fit to print, another lie exposed. Their lack of credibility causes alternative sites to thrive. At first they are called “conspiracy theorists” but when they are the highest rated shows it becomes pretty lame to still call them conspiracy theorists. The joke this last year is that it takes 60 days to go from being a tin foil hat conspiracy to accepted truth.

So the first step in speaking is to have your ears opened. But then look at how Jesus heals his speaking. It is very wonderful picture. First Jesus spits and touches his tongue, presumably with a finger dipped in spit. Then He looks up into heaven and with a deep sigh “be opened”. Then it says the tongue “loosened” like it had been tied into a knot.

The enemy is attacking our ears to keep them closed to the truth and he attacks our tongue to tie it into knots. That is what “cancel culture” and “race baiting” and “CRT” and “LGBTQ” rights and “transgender rights” and all kinds of outrageous things happening in the news are all intended to get you tongue tied. A story about a person who lost their job because of some innocuous post on Facebook -- scare you into keeping your mouth shut. This person’s business got cancelled because we get a video revealing the hypocrisy of Nancy Pelosi. Keep your mouth shut or the same will happen to you. At some point you need to get disgusted, spit it out!

Bed, Bath and Beyond gave in to cancel culture when they came after Mike Lindell and they eliminated his products from their shelves. Now, two years later they are about to declare bankruptcy. Ron Desantis stood up to the woke mob and now he is seen as a front runner for president in 2024. Recently the woke mob has said that going to the gym is "racist" and a symptom of "white supremacy". Their attacks of "racism" are now considered a joke and are mocked. Learn to stand up to this.

Recently I have been very impressed with some saints that are prayer warriors, wondering where did they learn that? I have been impressed by these ones getting prophetic dreams and visions, where did they learn that? However, the one thing I was taught as a Christian and as someone sharing their testimony, we need to be very concerned that our ears can hear the Lord's speaking and we need to be open, speaking our testimony without fear. When you stand up to the woke mob you learn they are one or two bullies while everyone else really appreciates that you would stand up to them. They brought this man to Jesus because "he could hardly talk". If you want to learn how to speak your ears need to be opened to the Lord's speaking and you need to share your testimony without fear of the woke mob that wants to keep you mute.

Let me share one example of a bully from when I was in Junior HS. I was walking along the road from the JHS to the HS after school when this kid picked a fight with me. By himself I would not have been scared of him, but he was with about five other kids on the football team, several of whom were bigger than me, so he probably thought I would be scared. He started the fight, I finished it, meanwhile all his friends just backed away from it. What he didn't know was that I also was on the football team, and the rule on the team is if you get in a fight on the street the coach would let you finish the fight on the field. None of those guys wanted to have to go through tackling drills with me if I had a chip on my shoulder. What is good about football is you go to battle every day, so getting into a fight is no big deal.

For a Christian if you share your faith every day, if you get involved with evangelism, preaching the gospel, then standing up to the woke mob is no big deal. You do that everyday.

This reminds me of the sons of Sceva, the possessed man said "Jesus I know, Paul I know, but who are you?" That kid didn't know me because he wasn't on the football team, but his friends did know me and didn't want any part of that. Get on the field, get into the battle, learn to speak the word.

There is clearly a pre-tribulation rapture

Luke 21:36 But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

There are some believers who teach that this is not necessary because there is only one rapture, no one is going to escape all these things taking place. This verse makes it clear that some will and some won't "escape all these things". A pre tribulation rapture does not mean you avoid the cross of Christ. For two thousand years saints have taken up the cross and followed Jesus, they didn't need to be in the tribulation to do that.

Revelation 20:4 Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

Obviously those who were beheaded for the testimony of Jesus did not escape the tribulation, those who refused to worship the beast or its image and who did not receive its mark on their foreheads, they didn't escape the tribulation. This shows there must be several groups of Christians who are raptured or taken.

Revelation 3:10 Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.

However, these did. Once again there is a reward for those who keep the word of the Lord's patient endurance.

Revelation 3: 3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.

What is the point of this warning if everyone is going to be raptured at the same time? What is the point of this warning if no one knows the time?

Matthew 25:10 And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut. 11 Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open to us.’ 12 But he answered, ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.

What is the point of this warning? Obviously some will not be taken.

They are called Rejected silver because the Lord has rejected them

Jeremiah 6:21 Therefore this is what the Lord says: “I will put obstacles before this people. Parents and children alike will stumble over them; neighbors and friends will perish.”

Deceit like the SAT scandal, election fraud, drugs, etc. The Lord closed the schools, Antifa rioted in the street, now that the borders have been thrown open we saw drugs flooding back into the cities with 200,000 dying from drug overdose. Mental health issues with people in lockdown.

22 This is what the Lord says: “Look, an army is coming from the land of the north; a great nation is being stirred up from the ends of the earth.

They refused to listen to the warning, but two years ago Steve Bannon started a daily broadcast called “War Room Pandemic” because he saw that the virus in Wuhan had the potential to become a pandemic. They mocked and ridiculed him as a tin foil hat conspiracy. But he was right. We now have the evidence that this came from the Wuhan Bio weapons lab. The only reasonable attitude at this point is that we view this pandemic as an attack with a bioweapon. We also have evidence that the CCP was involved in stealing the US election. This has been published in Mike Lindell’s movies exposing the fraud. That should also be viewed as China’s being complicit in a coup in the US. These are acts of war. The nation being stirred up is Russia.

23 They are armed with bow and spear; they are cruel and show no mercy. They sound like the roaring sea as they ride on their horses; they come like men in battle formation to attack you, Daughter Zion.”

Wake up! Anyone who would attack with a bioweapon that destroys the world’s economy is not going to show any mercy.

24 We have heard reports about them, and our hands hang limp. Anguish has gripped us, pain like that of a woman in labor.

Nice, I wonder if this is a reference to the birth pains of the woman who is bringing forth the Man Child.

25 Do not go out to the fields or walk on the roads, for the enemy has a sword, and there is terror on every side.

After the rapture there will be a dramatic collapse in law and order. Imagine what the US would be like if you don’t remove any of the Antifa or people who are rioting and looting but you do remove a third of all the cops, a third of teachers, and all the people standing with the Lord for righteousness.

26 Put on sackcloth, my people, and roll in ashes; mourn with bitter wailing as for an only son, for suddenly the destroyer will come upon us.

When they say “peace and security” then there is sudden destruction. The claims of “peace, peace” were fake news. This is the problem with deceit, people don’t see the destroyer that is coming. We do have a holiday where we proclaim "peace on earth" every year. But instead of celebrating the birth of the savior they have distorted it to celebrate materialism and paganism.

27 “I have made you a tester of metals and my people the ore, that you may observe and test their ways.

This is a test, we are being tested, will you stand for the Lord, are you truly walking by faith or by sight?

28 They are all hardened rebels, going about to slander. They are bronze and iron; they all act corruptly. 29 The bellows blow fiercely to burn away the lead with fire, but the refining goes on in vain; the wicked are not purged out. 30 They are called rejected silver, because the Lord has rejected them.”

“They are called rejected silver” -- can’t get any clearer than that. He is talking about those who are left behind after the rapture. He accused them of going about to slander, that is what he accused the ten spies who brought an evil report of doing. God was greatly offended at them slandering trees and rocks, you can imagine what He will do to those who are slandering His believers, His church, and those who are trying to walk the narrow way. We watched McCarthy fight for a week to become Speaker of the House. He made many concessions and agreed to many changes. However, once he became speaker it wasn't even an hour later that the pundits were saying he would have to reneg on those promises. They all act corruptly. During this battle they accused those who would not vote for McCarthy as being "anti democratic" and even likened them to the Taliban. This is what they do, they go about to slander.

2 Corinthians 1 -- He taught me how to live rejoicing everyday

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia: 2 Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

When we pray that God’s will would be done on earth as it is in heaven remember that the word concerning the New Testament ministry in this book is God’s will being done on earth.

3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

First and foremost, God needs to be blessed by your ministry. You may be angry by the unrighteousness and wickedness that you see, but reacting in a way that would cause people to curse God is not the ministry. These BLM rallies that allow rioting and looting to take place, that allow people’s businesses to be destroyed, that is not a ministry of God. Our ministry is formed when God comforted us in our tribulation, the very comfort that He gave to us we can in turn give to others. One thing I have learned is that the day will come when liars are exposed. It may seem tough when you are being slandered but whether they get exposed a day later, a month later or even ten years later, the day will come when they are exposed and at that time you will be vindicated. So then, leave that to God. If God delivered you from drugs, then that becomes a ministry, if God delivers you from gangs, that becomes a ministry. My two oldest children came to America when they were in sixth graders. Neither one spoke a word of English (they came from Taiwan). I homeschooled them and taught them English before they started High School. They both were valedictorians in High School. That could be a ministry. My youngest child had to have a physical therapist, occupational therapist and speech therapist. They were going to have to be with him throughout school including a para. God gave us the wisdom to overcome those things so that he no longer needed any of them. He graduated on the honor roll and never had to have a para during High school or any therapists. That could be a ministry. I taught school in Brooklyn where our kids were scoring in the bottom 25% of the NYC school system. God gave us the wisdom to overcome that so that by the time I left they were scoring in the top 6% of NYC schools. James says "if any of you lack wisdom ask God". You pray, the Lord answers your prayer, and soon you have a ministry.

5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

We do not seek “suffering”. Rather we seek the kingdom of God. As a result this causes the enemy to attack us, if possible it will be done in a hidden fashion, but if that is no longer possible the enemy will attack you openly. That is why the “sufferings of Christ abound in you”. Likewise your consolation will not aboud for those who are choosing to yield to unrighteousness, to embrace the lie rather than the truth, that worship idols rather than the true and living God. Our consolation abounds towards those who are taking a stand for the Lord. Think about the book of Job, the sufferings abounded in him, why? So he and his friends could complain? No, so that the consolation by Christ could also abound and so we could discover all the riches that are hidden in Christ Jesus.

6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

Whatever happens to the apostles it works out for good, they are the “pioneers” clearing the way. They are like John the Baptist “making straight the paths of the Lord”. They level the hills and fill in the valleys. The New Testament ministry began with them and the book of 2Corinthians begins with our prayer that our Father in heaven would be glorified, that His will would be done and His Kingdom would come.

7 And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.

Follow the path that the apostle’s have blazed. As more and more of us take this path it becomes a paved road and then a highway. This is how God the Father's name is hallowed. This is how the name of the Lord Jesus is lifted up.

8 For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: 9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:

When I homeschooled my kids I was working full time, my wife was working full time and we did not have any extra money for anything. The reason I did this was because I knew if you put two kids who only speak Chinese into this school in Brooklyn they would waste the next three years of their life. The situation was desperate. Their mother in Taiwan was threatening to take us to court, my family in the US was trying to take the kids from me. I took a path where I was the only one who had faith.

10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;

Just like we can share our comfort that we get from God we can also share our faith in the God who raises the dead. I have had multiple experiences of being sure I was going to die, either physically or socially or spiritually. Yet through all of it God delivered me. So watching this unfold I can rejoice while others are still in doubt. I trust that God will deliver us yet again.

11 Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.

When the victory is won you want to have taken part. Even if you cannot do any of those things, if you prayed you are still part of the winning team.

By faith you stand

2Corinthians 1:12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

Isn’t that a wonderful testimony? Simple, sincere, nothing of the wisdom of the flesh, we walked by the grace of God. Consider "fleshly wisdom". They give kids drugs, I didn't do that. In school they give the kids who don't speak english these electronic translators, I didn't do that. I taught at a school in Long Island for a year the teachers fed the kids the answers during the test. I didn't do that and so I was forced to leave because I wasn't willing to cheat.

13 For we write none other things unto you, that what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end; 14 As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are our's in the day of the Lord Jesus.

We are rejoicing in Jesus. No other motive, no other agenda. The ministry must be such a powerful testimony that people have to acknowledge Jesus working in you.

15 And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit; 16 And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judaea. 17 When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay? 18 But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay. 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. 20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

People need to keep track of the promises made and the promises kept. During the debates Joe Biden told us if he was elected president he would have a much better plan that would get this pandemic under control. That was his promise. After the election he told us his plan, his plan is that we all wear a mask. Some people make great soaring promises but when they come to deliver you feel like you have been completely swindled. When my kids mother in China was breathing out threats I told her the kids were studying to take the exam for the #1 High school. This is a concept they have in China and in NYC there is a "Science High school entrance exam". This exam was 50% english and the theory is that it takes five years to become fluent in a language and my kids only had two years till the test. I didn't tell her that but I knew this was really a very lofty goal. However, my son ultimately did pass that test and went to one of these schools only fifteen minutes from our house where he became the valedictorian. Everyone in Taiwan and in my family here in the US was forced to acknowledge that the Lord was with me.

21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; 22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

This is the point, is it the word of God or the word of man? Is this ministry a result of some work of man, or is this movement the moving of the Spirit in our hearts?

23 Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth.

This is why God doesn’t judge the second He sees wickedness. He is giving people a chance to repent. You don't see the results immediately. It took seven years from when I homeschooled my kids from Taiwan till they graduated. And for the kids who I was teaching in Brooklyn, it took about ten years.

24 Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.

Remember this, no one, not even the apostle Paul has dominion over your faith. There was no micro managing by my principal or anyone else while I was homeschooling. It was all about praying, seeking the Lord for wisdom, and having the Lord lead me. Notice how he says “we” not even anyone from Paul, working with Paul, or any other apostle. Apostles, ministers, servants of God are your helpers not little lords. Jesus is Lord, everyone else is a servant. Also, you don’t stand because “you are of Paul” or “of Peter” or anyone else. You stand by faith. Your faith comes from the word of God. That is what is important, build your faith.

16 These are the names of the men which Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Oshea the son of Nun Jehoshua.

The word here means to seek, to explore, to search, to find out how to do something. This is what we have been doing during this age. I worked in the school system and I homeschooled. I worked with ESL (English as a second language) kids, I worked with Special Education kids, I worked with inner city kids. I was exploring, figuring out how to do something, I was searching, seeking with the promise that I would find. This is what all of the believers are supposed to have been doing. We were supposed to be walking about in this world trying to figure out how we could rule and reign by faith.

When I looked up the word spies it is first used by Joseph accusing his brothers of being spies and it means a tail bearer, to slander, to explore but as a gossip.

This is the first mention of this word:

Genesis 42:9 And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them, and said unto them, Ye are spies; to see the nakedness of the land ye are come.

What does this have to do with Joseph's dream? Joseph's sheaf stood upright and all his brother's sheafs came around and made obeisance to Joseph's.

We are supposed to explore, search out and figure out how to walk by faith. That is what it is to be a Christian standing up straight. But how many become gossips? Yes, they also explore, and search out, but it is so they can be a tale bearer and slanderer. Joseph searched out Egypt. He was in charge of a man's house, he then went to the prisons and was in charge there and finally he was put in charge of the whole country. He learned how to deal with those who worked honestly, those who were deceitful, and those who were criminals. That was his training. He didn't do this in his own strength, he was spiritual, listening to the Lord and interpreting the dreams. Consider the baker and the butler. To be a ruler you have to be able to discern between the two just as Pharaoh had done. Joseph didn't complain about being sold into slavery, he saw that it was God moving in his life so that many people could be saved.

God has no use for gossips, tale bearers and slanderers. That is why their carcasses were strewn in the wilderness.

Let me apply this concept of searching, seeking and figuring out how things work to investing. I used to be a stock broker and I had a great record of being able to pick winners.

First, I learned that if someone is recommending a company, say in Barron's or Wall Street Journal or on MSNBC they would be right 50% of the time and wrong 50% of the time. However, although both recommendations were published by one of these companies, the two recommendations were very different. One recommendation will come from "an expert" telling you that he is buying up this stock because it is set to take off. I ignored all of those recommendations. The other recommendation will not come with any expert putting their name on it, rather it will be a story about what the company does or what has recently changed in the company. I would read those stories. That is how I pushed Sunbeam when Al Dunlap took over, or why I pushed Coinstar. I read the story and I believed that the story would result in the stock of the company going up.

But then you have the issue of "timing". I once saw a guy buy up $230,000 worth of Yahoo stock when he received an inheritance. He wound up trading in and out of the stock during the whole year. If the stock went up 2% he made $4,000 in a day which was more than he was making at his job in a month. By the end of the year he was broke. He had lost everything. Meanwhile that $230k of stock he had bought a year ago was now worth about $2 million.

What I learned is that timing is based on two key factors. First, people lie but the money doesn't lie. What I look for is the stock price going down while the buying is going up. If you put money flow and stock price on the same chart it will look like a pair of open scissors. But it is very easy to jump the gun by a month or two. So the second thing you need to know is what price to buy and what price to sell. I use Fibonacci sequence to figure that out. If you use a Bloomberg machine it will put the Fibonacci lines in for you.

This is "searching things out" and "figuring out how they work".

But the more I got involved in the stock market the more I realized the best investment advice is in the Bible. Keep your treasure in the heavens where moth and rust and thieves don't break in and steal.

Yes, the Lord told us to occupy till He comes, but how do you feel talking to millionaires about how to keep their investments safe, meanwhile you know that when the Lord comes back it will all be gone. You didn't keep anything safe. You might think they would want to know the truth, fact is they don't. They have spent their entire life invested in this world, they are not willing to hear that the world is condemned. Look at Burry, the guy in the movie "The Big Short". They wanted to sue him into oblivion. In the end the only way to truly walk by faith in the market is by investing your own money and not having any investors. But then wouldn't you be bothered when you learn more about Al Dunlap? Wouldn't your conscience bother you when you are making money off of Apple? There is no such thing as "ethical investing". People who do that are trying to cover up with fig leaves. The stock market is described in Revelation 18 and it will be judged by God and it will be like a giant millstone being tossed into the center of the ocean. I ultimately decided if you you live by the sword you will die by the sword. It is hypocrisy to make millions in the stock market and then preach about it from Revelation 18. It would be like a NFL football player making millions in the NFL but taking a knee because he thinks the NFL and USA are a bunch of slave masters. Quit the NFL, move to Russia and then at least you won't be a hypocrite.
