avinu...i dont know id you have noticed this or not, but no one cares about your opinion on this. you have everyone is this thread against you. perhaps you should take it as a hint to stop beating a dead horse.
/QUOTE]

megatron, I'm so glad your concerned for me, but if you don't like it don't read it. I've dealt with people ready to shoot me for preaching the Gospel of Jesus to them, I'm not concerned about a few people on here not liking what I say. Everything I speak on I back with the Word.

Jesus gave two commandments, love God with all, love thy neighbor in doing so the law is fulfilled.
This is funny, you are determined not to answer me, by the way, these two commandments Yeshua is quoting from Torah. And since you believe Torah is done with, shouldn't you throw these out too?

By the way, what do you think it takes to keep these two commandments? please enlighten me.

well there you have it, I wasn't reading the man altered Bible, what was I thinking?
Hi. How are you Avinu.

This is an interesting thread. The more people post, the more I understand what is going on. So, I am learning something from this.

I have broken every single commandment of the Lord. So, as far as the law is concerned, I deserve to die, and that is right. The law is harsh. It cannot be broken. Yet, we have all broken it, so we all have had the sentence of death put on us. What are we to do now?

CRY OUT FOR MERCY!!!

It was written that the law is like a schoolmaster that leads us to Jesus Christ. Why? Because the law is harsh and is sure and final, and it makes us know we need a savior. The law cannot be changed, anyone who breaks it has the penalty of death on them, as God promised. However, how could God save people from death, which is declared on anyone who breaks the law? God cannot lie.

He had to create a new covenant making the old one void, or powerless. It is like when the children of Israel were sentenced to die on a certain day by a decree from A wicked ruler, but a second decree was given to void the first by giving Israel an opportunity to take up weapons to defend against this decree for their lives.

The Sabbath is kept perfectly when one loves God fully and his neighbor as himself. The law cannot disannul it.

May Jesus bless you.

Shalom Ramon, I'm doing good how are you? You are right, I too have broken every law, and need His mercy, grace and forgiveness for it. And yes agreed again, the Torah does lead us to Yeshua. But no where does it release us from keeping the proverbial rules of the House.
Please show me where it says that a new covenant was made and the old done away with.
That is key, and also a Torah Commandment, to love God with all and neighbor as self, maybe you can tell me what that truly means.

Shalom brother, may Yeshua bless you also. Avinu

You are running from His Word. And if this is your best response, I guess the shoe fits you. Don't like it, don't read it. Most people don't want to read what reveals there sin.

WOW!!! I am SOOOO glad you asked where it talks about the new covenant. And I was certain it was in Hebrews, and guess what??? IT IS IN HEBREWS!!!!!

Hebrews is an awesome book. A long time ago, when I first was learning, I came to Hebrews and I was like WHOA! I didn't understand a thing!! I think Hebrews is a very important book for the Jews who lived under the old ways of the old covenant. This book is going to minister to many Jews. MANY!!! When they finally see the light of Jesus, this book is going to explain a lot!! I could not understand it because I didn't understand the historical implications and how they relate over to the new covenant that Jesus spoke of. But we can edify one another here. I will give you one verse that came up.

Heb 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
Heb 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
Heb 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
Heb 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

MAY JESUS BLESS YOU!

THIS IS AWESOME. I have to read all of Hebrews when I come back from work! LOL.

Jesus said that TO PHARISEES avinu!
PLEASE do not use that on my brothers in Christ.
You brothers, and in Christ are not the same thing. Anyone in Christ would know that Avinu was not targeting them. Where does that leave you and your brothers?

I have a question...Is it ok to put others gods above God, or is it ok to worship other gods or make idols, or dishonor your parents, or kill, or steal, or lie, or lust?

no doubt you keep THE WHOLE LAW.
you have to to be perfect (without sin)
and you are perfect.

Why did God send His Son Jesus to die for us, Avinu?? I love God's word. If I thought for a second that I was going against His word I would immediately repent. After you answer that most important question could you tell me how you think I am running from His Word?

God Bless You

AMEN, I love those scriptures, I can't wait till that is fufilled. Because the house of Israel and the house of Judah being brought back together has not happened yet, therefore the new covenant has not happened yet.

Brit Hadeshah is the hebrew name for the NT, well it actually means renewed covenant not NT like it's been taught. I don't mean to burst your bubble on those verses, but it hasn't happened yet. Shalom
