Zone my friend can i humbly point out no wher even in he jewish scriptures does it say prophets ended with the ot... i surely am not a prophet but i do beleive god still apoints prophets, watchmen to warn the people and the church... Granted there are some people who apoint themselves as gods prophets when they clearly arnt and are wolves.. But what your saying sounds to me more like something from judaism...

What we need is to be under a seasoned pastor-teacher that has been raised up of God to teach the word and doctrine. The believer needs to be in an environment where he has to huble himself to the word and doctrine that is being preached. We also need to be strong in the grace of God and learn how to edify and buid up other believers in the body of Christ. We need a local assembly of believers that we continually rub elbows and shoulders with so that we can put into practice through faith the many precious instructions we have been given through the scriptures that are specifically for the church and body of Christ.
We need to have a constant fellowship with others, especially those that are over us in the Lord, who God has given a measure of grace to build us up into Christ. We need to be around the members of God's bodt so that we can comprehend the love of God with the saints in the work of the ministry. We need to obey God in this so that we don't become an independant believer that esteems ourself above others because of some gift we say we have from God and use that gift to usurp authority over what has been established by God in the church through grace and truth. We need the grace of God that comes from every member of the body through the supply that has been given to them by the Spirit.
What we don't need are a bunch of novices that think they know everything, claiming to have a gift for the church and coming into local assemblies condemning and accusing believers of sin and trying to rid the church of the wolves in sheep's clothing. If anyone like that came into my church with this air of supremacy and tried to do this to any of the believers in our fellowship, you would be removed immediately and be given a strong warning to never come back and try that again. That's called a 'spiritual boot'.

I'ml with you grandpa. I want the Truth. I want to keep my eyes focus on Jesus. If people around me want to judge me and tell me my wrongdoings. I take it before my Heavenly Father to see if He agrees. If He does then I ask Him to change me and learn how to walk in His ways. If He says the charge is unjustified, then I pray that the other person stop their slanderous tongues and seek a more right relationship with Him.

I would rather see the potential and the possibility of goodness inherent in people if they but accepted Jesus fully as Lord and Savior and obeyed God's commandments as He intended for us to do upon our creation. I try to think the best of people and pray that God will make it come to pass.

Lets see, Ive been here a very short time and all ive heard from you is that we should be perfect, and everyone loves their sin, and a little arguing on top of that. No teaching, no bringing out the word. Pretty much just threatennings and fear. I know this because im councelling people you have effected who want to bail out of the faith. What ive seen of zone....she points out the errors and infiltration of satanic influences coming into the church
She brings up who they are, and how important it is to get informed. She gives work that can teach someone
how to guard against it. She has combated obsurd teachings here. Given scripture and resources. Defends the gospel of grace. While you yell sinner, sinner, everyones a lover of sin.

By CC standards you have been here more than "a very short time" (joined January). I'm not sticking up for anybody, but Zone has been very polarizing not by sticking up for the truth, but by being mean spirited, derisive, sarcastic, caustic and so forth. There are people on CC who can speak the truth AND do it in love, as required. Give your kudos to them instead.
