And we want to find a way to colonize other planets?
After we've polluted this one?
Yep if you search for consumption bans/limits for the state you live in you can find them for your state. In my states case don't,do not consume anything without checking first because its like your fishing in a septic tank https://tpwd.texas.gov/regulations/...ulations/fish-consumption-bans-and-advisories

Yep and woe to them because it seems as though they didn't read the last sentence in this verse https://www.biblegateway.com/verse/en/Revelation 11:18

and instead did this https://www.desmog.com/2020/01/18/d...t-comfort-texas-plastic-pollution-settlement/ and this https://www.caller.com/story/news/2...ion-fines-its-point-comfort-plant/8338634002/

Be sure to check for plastic next time you clean your fish,or hogs or deer or.....

is not suprising.

Freshwater? lol I dont think so

in NZ rivers are dirty too. we are told never to drink from them as risk of getting giardia. a lot of farmers never cared to fence them off to stop stock from going into them and had septic tanks and fertilisers running off into them like they were giant sewers.

People chuck supermarket trolleys in them and kinda treat it like the ganges in India where they dump dead bodies. Then they remove the mangroves and reeds and wetlands which are filtering the salt and everything coming the other way, Oh and BABY wipes block everything up.

Its disgusting. Fish dont wanna live in that mess.

True. It's none the less sad that at this stage we don't know any better.

I think it's Japan that invented a system that converts almost all household garbage into heat pellets.

That would be such a blessing if adopted in all of America. Especially given the high cost of standard energy bills today.

Why presume such a thing? When this thread concerns a secular environmental news report.

I was told by a Krogers manager that they plan to phase out all wild caught fish and eventually only sell farm raised. We had a conversation about that. Wild caught is far from perfect, but farm raised is very unhealthy. It just has that aire of "sustainable resources" that really just makes more money for the sellers.

You'll find each side will engender conflict one against the other.

I agree with that. Fisheries are way too polluted with the fishes own waste and poor feed. Much of the market comes from China.
I even quit fishing from the Monogahelah River when I saw a chemical company dumping above my sand bar where I fished. Most of the industrial chemicals are not even tested and published to the public.
Tap water is further treated with chemicals.
I prefer small- medium sea caught fish or the few I might catch in mountain streams on those rare occasions I get to fish.

Forever? Hardly. These chemicals can all be cleaned up in 1,000 years.

Don't forget to look at the package in the store you shop at and make note of where it was caught before you buy it...
Packaging shows that? I know there are labels like , ''north Atlantic Cod''. That's about all I've seen. General stuff, not specific fishing locations.

Everything about the future shown on the Simpsons in the 90s has eerily come true
