THE VERY POOL where Jesus healed the blind man is being excavated and restored to its original size and opened to the public in a few months.

Although an extra-Biblical source, the Esoteric below, states that this will usher in the Messiah (aka the Anti-Christ, then Jesus comes to defeat him).

You can't get any closer folks. We are the generation to witness the End Times.

Esoteric Sources: Widening Siloam Pool Will Usher in Messiah:

"Ancient esoteric Jewish sources may have predicted that the recently announced plans to excavate the Siloam Pool in Jerusalem have a major role to play in the Final Redemption.

The Israel Antiquities Authority announced earlier this week that the ancient pool of Siloam, first mentioned in the biblical book of Kings II, will be fully excavated and opened to the public"

People have been saying for hundreds of years that this or that event will usher in His return. Every few years someone comes up with a new event that is supposed to usher Him in. Eventually something will happen that actually will usher Him in and people will say, "See, I told you so!" lol

I agree things are very tumultuous throughout the world and I know that people are looking for signs.…. But when it comes to the “Gathering together unto Him” there are no signs. (that is …. is if you adhere to the rapture) But obviously this is dealing with the beginning of sorrows …. after the Church of God is gone.

As for extra biblical sources ….. they can be a great asset in dealing with historical events, people, and culture…. But when these events attempt to take up residence in the land of biblical truths (or prophecy) I take a step back to qualify its validity.

When was it written? who wrote it? what other things are in the writings or written from this person? And the final test is….. does it match up against biblical truths?

I may give some allowance or credibility if it doesn’t contradict truth …and it passes the other scrutiny, but at best I will proclaim it a mere possibility .......And that doesn’t mean it’s true or not true …it’s just where I categorize it.

The Word of God is my only source and standard for Truth …. all other is matched against it …. Because if there is no standard (no absolute truth) then anything goes, and we are adrift in the sea of speculation.

What Biblical text supports this?

If that's the footprint they're going to fully restore that would be amazing.
I wonder if they'll install a security fence around it so it isn't able to be freely accessed by the public the way the RCC did the healing waters of the spring found in the Grotto of Massabielle in the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, France?

Great post. Though I believe God is in control of the timelines of his prophecies.

Excavations of biblical sites are always a good thing.

But as far as Biblical prophecy goes, I'm not aware of the Pool Of Siloam having anything to do with anything.

I'll go with Eph 4:11-16.

I've been there....
It's clear water that they caution you against drinking....
I washed my face in it but didn't drink any like they used to.

The blind man who washed his face did so during the Feast of Booths ceremony. Which certainly was very disruptive....
