The Christian sacrament* of baptismal regeneration is required for the new covenant and salvation!

*this promise acts 2:38-39 is a sacred oath from God ez 36:25-27 and a sacred oath is a sacrament!

Initiation!!!

Faith & Baptism is the initiation of the new and eternal covenant!

You cannot enter on you’re own or by “faith alone”!

You cannot receive Christ or grace by “faith alone”!

“Accept Christ as you’re personal lord and savior” is fundamentalist tradition not found scripture!

Jn 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

2 pet 1: 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Baptismal regeneration a new creation in Christ! 2 Cor 5:17

A sacrament is an oath! A sacred promise from God! Ez 36:25-27
Acts 2:38-39 (this promise)

No baptism no grace!

A sacrament is an outward sign for all men including infants And a gift from God to help us see what he does inwardly and invisibly by his grace!

As grace Washes our souls in the merits of Jesus blood from original and personal sin, so the outward action of washing is visible!

without the outward action the inward action cannot take place!

Jn 3:5 Titus 3:5 water and washing
acts 22:16 wash away your sin!

Jn 3:5 Born again BY water and the spirit! Not by “faith alone”!

They did not go to Jerusalem and preach “accept Christ as you’re personal Lord and savior “

They went to the river (water) and they baptized! Jn 3:22

A covenant requires an outward sign of the inward action of grace!

Ez 36:25 I will sprinkle you with clean water and you shall be made white as snow.

Acts 22:16 washing away your sins.

Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism.

1 pet 3:21 baptism saves you.

You cannot enter on you’re own or by faith alone!

2 pet 1: 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Heb 2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Baptism!

God breathed life into Adam, gen 2:7 and we received this life from our fathers!

Christ breathed on the apostles our spiritual fathers, we receive the new covenant life of God’s grace from them thru faith & baptism! Jn 20:21-23 Mk 16:16 acts 8:36-38 eph 2

Born again! Born from above!

'The Father has set his seal' on Christ (John 6:27) and also seals us in him (cf. 2 Corinthians 1:22; Ephesians 1:23, 4:30). Because this seal indicates the indelible effect of the anointing with the Holy Spirit in the sacrament of Baptism,

Baptism indeed is the seal of eternal life." 87 The faithful Christian who I has "kept the seal" until the end, remaining faithful to the demands of his Baptism, will be able to depart this life "marked with the sign of faith," 88 with his baptismal faith, in expectation of the blessed vision of God - the consummation of faith - and in the hope of resurrection.

St. Paul tells the faithful at Ephesus that they have been “sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.” This is in terms of an indelible character imprinted on the soul in the sacraments of baptism and confirmation. It is not as if this invisible mark is simply decorative. Rather, through it, we are enabled to participate in Christ’s mission and in his offices of priest, prophet, and king. Eph 1:13

Sealed by God eph 1:13 sealed by God (ez 36:25-27) in the ark of salvation by baptism just as Noah was sealed by God in the ark of the flood gen 7:16

1 Pet 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us!
(Ark of Noah a type of the church, member of Christ and his church and salvation by baptism!)
(Outside the ark of Noah none were saved, outside the church (the ark of salvation) none are saved!)

Sealed in the ark, sealed in the church the ark of salvation by God thru baptism!

Christ instituted the holy church for the salvation of all men, (repent and believe the gospel, with the institution of the sacraments to convey grace to sanctify souls!

Effects of faith & baptism!

Ez 36:25-27 washed in baptism, with a new heart and the Spirit
Jn 3:5 born again in baptism
Mk 16:16 faith & baptist
Acts 2:38 repentance & baptism
Acts 8:36-38 faith & baptism
Acts 22:16 baptism washes away sin
Rom 6:3 died with Christ
Col 2:12 risen with Christ
1 cor 12:13 baptized into the church
Gal 3:27 by baptism put on Christ
2 Tim 1:10 eph 2:1 and 5 brought to life
2 cor 5:17 new creation
Eph 1:13 sealed by the Holy Spirit
Eph 4:5 one faith, one baptism
Eph 5:26 faith and baptism
Titus 3:5 baptismal regeneration
1 pet 1:2 washed in Christ’s blood
1 pet 2:9 the kingdom of light
1 pet 3:20-21 baptism saves us!

“Faith alone” accomplishes nothing!
1 cor 13:2 even all faith (alone) without charity avails NOTHING!!!

Faith and baptism!

Scripture says none of the things about “Faith alone”!

Only James 2:24 a man is justified by works and not by “faith alone”

2 Peter 1:11
For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The Christian sacrament of baptism is the Initiation into the new covenant and must be ministered to you by the apostles!

“Faith alone” Questions

where does scripture says we have died with Christ by “faith alone”?

Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

where does scripture say we are members of Christ and his church by “faith alone”?

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

where does scripture says we put on Christ by “faith alone”?

Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Where does scripture say our sins are washed away by “faith alone”?

Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

where does scripture say we are saved or justified by “faith alone”?

1 pet 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us!

The only reference in scripture to “faith alone” is James 2:24 NOT BY “FAITH ALONE”?

2 pet 1: 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

How can you enter by your own if it must be ministered to you? Baptism is done unto you, “not do it yourself by faith alone”

Jn 3:5 born again by faith alone?

Where is “Accept Christ as your personal lord & savior” is found in scripture?

They did not go preaching this line but went immediately to the river and baptized Jn 3:22

Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Eph 4:5 one baptism

Why don’t it say one teeny tiny little act of “faith alone”???

When we first believed we are saved?

Romans 13:11
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

How can salvation be nearer than when we first believed if you’re saved by believing?

1 pet 1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Matt 24:13 endures to the end Shall be saved.

How can salvation happen when we first believed if it’s the end?

If salvation is by “faith alone” then faith would be the greatest!
1 cor 13:13 charity is the greatest!

Even all faith much less “faith alone” without charity avails nothing!
1 cor 13:2

“Faith alone” unbiblical!

That's one, yes.

The church is the body of Christ, not the Catholic denomination.
mother of God:
(Not mother or source of the divine nature, not the mother of the eternal father or Holy Spirit)
Jesus Christ is God; Mary is His mother, so Mary is rightly called and defined by apostolic council of Ephesus 431 as the mother of God. Lk 1:43 thanks

Immaculate conception?

The "one time eternal deliverance" occurs when a person decides to believe the gospel of Jesus Christ (Eph 1:13

Hearing (understanding) the the word of God, believing in spiritual things, repenting of breaking a spiritual law, confessing your sins, being baptised, praying to a spiritual God, etc. are all products of having been born again to the new spiritual life.

The natural man, before he has been born again cannot know the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness unto him (1 Cor 2:14) (John 10:25-29).

If the scriptures do not harmonize, you do not understand the truths contained in the gospel of Christ.

Eph 2:
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
The "Faith", in this verse, is not mankind's faith, but is the faithfulness of Jesus going to the cross for the justification of those that his Father gave him. (Gal 2:16). As is stated; "and that not of yourselves". All scripture must harmonize, before you understand the truth.

The New Testament has a three fold priesthood

High priesthood: “Jesus Christ”
acts 10:14
heb 5:1
heb 8:1
heb 8:3

Ministerial priesthood: “apostles & their successors, and those they ordain” (low priests)
Mk 3:14
Jn 15:16
Jn 20:23
acts 1:15-26
acts 14:23
Acts 16:4
Rom 15:16
1 cor 9:14
1 Tim 3:1-2
1 Tim 2:7
1 Tim 4:14
Phil 1:1
James 5:14

Royal priesthood: “baptized members of Jesus Christ”
1 pet 2:5-9

The new covenant was a reformation of the mosaic covenant so it has many similarities. Heb 9:10

Absolve: to forgive sins
I absolv you from your sins in the name of the father and the son and the Holy Spirit. Jn 20:23 2 cor 5:18 1 Jn 1:9 thanks
There is no such thing as "low priests". I've told you this already, but you refuse to learn. There is no ministerial priesthood in the Christian Church.

As for absolving sins, every human being is empowered to forgive sins done against them. Christians are empowered to speak God's forgiveness over those who have repented. There is no special ministry of absolving sin given only to Christian leaders.

JMO, but sometimes this place is too cliquish.

If someone gets reported and banned because they currently believe things a certain way, how will they ever learn? If he's shut out, what choice is left except to go back to his former church?

There are a lot of Christians who are Catholic. They love God and are doing their best to please Him, according to the way they were raised, what they know, what they have been taught. Like it or not, they are our brothers and sisters in Christ.

If anyone's response to this is "Catholics aren't Christian," they'd better do some self-examination.

Again, JMO.

Wise words! and they do apply to all of us.

Even the word of God is thru men
And is part of tradition
Do you also reject the church fathers teaching?
Are they not found in acts 1:8 and acts 2:42?
The teachings of the church fathers is not Scripture. Acts 1:8 and Acts 2:42 are Scripture. I don't "reject" the teaching of church fathers, but I generally ignore it because it is not Scripture.

Believing in spiritual things is a product of having been quickened to a new spiritual life.

Eph 2:1-5 explains how a DEAD alien sinner (1 Cor 2:14) is quickened to the new spiritual life in Christ.
Jesus said whoever believes is given life.

I will go with what Jesus said

No, a person does not become born again until he hears and believes the gospel (Eph 1:13).

The natural man, before he has been born again cannot know the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness unto him (1 Cor 2:14) (John 10:25-29).
The "natural," or "soulish" man is the person who does not think about God, but thinks about things of the world. He can change, and decide to seek God, and when he does, he "shall be filled" (Matt 5:6).

If the scriptures do not harmonize, you do not understand the truths contained in the gospel of Christ.
This is why Calvinists do not understand the truths contained in the gospel of Christ.

It is each person's faith.

As is stated; "and that not of yourselves".
It is not saying that it is not the person's faith, it is saying that it is not from a person's works. Salvation is the gift of God, given when a person decides to balieve the gospel.

All scripture must harmonize, before you understand the truth.

Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ. God is his Father. You may call Mary the mother of God, but that does not elevate her to a special position of veneration, such as Catholicism does.

Immaculate conception?
Mary was a virgin when she conceived and gave birth to Jesus, but she and Joseph subsequently had sex and gave birth to other children. The Catholic belief that Mary remained a virgin throughout her life is not true.

Your words, not scripture.
Explain Matt 28:19 Mk 16:16 Jn 3:5 Jn 4:1 acts 2:38-39 acts 22:16 acts 8:36-38 acts 22:16 Titus 3:5 1 pet 3:20-21

The new covenant Spiritual family of God by supernatural grace in union with Christ the only mediator and communion with God and His saints!

Born again new birth from Mary our new spiritual mother, those who are “in Christ” are a new creation. And we were in Christ who was in Mary for nine months and Mary gave birth to Christ and us Her spiritual children. Lk 1:30, Lk 1:38, Jn 19:36-38, rev 12:17

Supernatural mother of the new covenant church by the sacramental grace of baptismal regeneration in Jesus Christ:

It is not possible to have Jesus Christ as your Bother and not have Mary most holy as your Mother!

Mother of our salvation:
Found our salvation Lk 1:30
Consented to our salvation Lk 1:38

Also cos Jesus Christ gave Her to us to be our spiritual mother: Jn 19:26-27

Also cos Jesus is our brother:
Rom 8:29 …that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
We are His many brethren; and bothers who have the same mother.

Ephesians 6:2
Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;

Lk 1:48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

But he that angereth his mother is cursed: of God. Eccl. 3:18

Jesus is making Mary spiritual mother to all disciples! And all disciples take Her into thier home, And if the apostle John needs a spiritual mother so do we!

What is the family of God without a mother? The mother is the heart of the family! Jesus said I will not leave you orphans! Jn 14:18 He gave Mary to be the mother of one disciple then He does so for all disciples!

As eve was the mother of all the living in the first creation, gen 3:20 so Mary is the mother of all those who live in Christ and the new creation! Behold, I make all things new!

Rev 12:17 our spiritual mother!

Rachel is spiritual mother of Israel!
A type of Mary as spiritual mother of Christians!

The 12 sons of Jacob have 4 biological mothers, but Rachel is the spiritual mother of all Israel!

Matt 2:18 In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are no more.

Our holy one shall be called Mary:
Mother of fair love.

And our tender mother is immaculate purity!

Immaculate conception of Mary:
“Pure, sinless, consecrated to God alone” Gen 3:15 enmity total war between satan & Mary, none of his wicked works are found in Her.
Lk 1:28 full of grace, Lord is with Her, blessed. Lk 1:49 things plural
Rev 12:1 clothed with the sun immaculate purity.

Mother of God: Lk 1:43

Assumption of Mary “body & soul” into heaven. Rev 12:1

No creature has ever had a biological family relationship with God except Mary:

And She has three:

Daughter of the eternal Father.
Mother of the Son of God.
Spouse of the Holy Spirit.

The living ark of the new covenant!
The spiritual mother of those living in Christ!

Song of Solomon 6:9-10
9 My dove, my undefiled is but one; she is the only one of her mother, she is the choice one of her that bare her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her; yea, the queens and the concubines, and they praised her.

10 Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners?

Mary is our spiritual mother cos She found our salvation Lk 1:30 and consented to our salvation Lk 1:38
And Rev 12:17

Cos we are the brethren of the Lord, and have the mother as He does.

Cos Jesus Christ explicitly gave the disciples His mother. Jn 19:26-28

The scriptures refer to eternal life, and they often refer to the life we live here on earth.

Could you give me the scripture you are referencing?
no one will live eternally in this life. so no, eternal life is not referencing life on this earth.

I gave the passage. John 3..The passage about how to be born again

John 3:
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should [c]not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Faith is not the same thing as faithfulness. The text says we are saved by faith, not by faithfulness. The faith, by which we are saved, does not originate with us, but is given us by God.

Your version would have God saying that we are saved by Jesus' faithfulness, which is given to us by God. Frankly, that's ridiculous.

By inserting your own misinterpretations and claiming they are what God meant to say, you are perverting God's word.

Mary is our spiritual mother cos She found our salvation Lk 1:30
No, she didn't "find" our salvation. She bore and raised Jesus. That's it, that's all.

and consented to our salvation Lk 1:38
"Consented"? As though her opinion mattered? No; she wasn't consulted on the matter. She was told what would happen. She surrendered to God's sovereign will... joyfully, because she understood the incredible blessing it was to be chosen to be the mother of her Lord. She knew her role, but Catholics have seriously misunderstood and corrupted it.

Cos we are the brethren of the Lord, and have the mother as He does.
Nothing in Scripture supports that speculation.

Cos Jesus Christ explicitly gave the disciples His mother. Jn 19:26-28
No, He did not; He told John specifically, "Behold your mother". He was making provision for her needs. That's it, that's all.

Again, your Catholic teachings have seriously clouded your understanding of Scripture.
