Hebrews 11:21-39 When the end was near they spoke about the exodus

21 By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph’s sons, and worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff.

How exactly did Jacob do this? He had to have known the two kids, prayed for them, and sought God for them. Your faith can be expressed, like Enoch with a prophecy, or like Noah in building a boat, or like Jacob in praying for your grandchildren.

22 By faith Joseph, when his end was near, spoke about the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and gave instructions concerning the burial of his bones.

You can pray for your people, and those in bondage.

23 By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born, because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.

Faith can be expressed by civil disobedience, rejecting unjust laws, like Rosa Parks.

24 By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. 25 He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. 26 He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward.

This is crucial, if you hope to be raptured then surely you are looking ahead to the reward and rejecting fleeting pleasures of sin. You are willing to be mistreated and suffer disgrace because you know these are a momentary lightness of affliction compared to the eternal weight of glory.

27 By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible.

How is it that some of these guys can persevere? By all accounts Moses life was essentially over when he saw the burning bush. You persevere by faith, because you see the invisible one.

28 By faith he kept the Passover and the application of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.

Moses expresses a lot of faith. He is looking ahead for his reward, he sees the invisible one, and he is then able to follow directions precisely in keeping the Passover. When you hear and obey, your ability to hear and obey improves. Eventually you could get so precise you could follow very detailed instructions.

29 By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.

Think how arrogant they have to be to think they could follow after Israel through the Red Sea. Moses was exhibiting a very high level of faith developed over a lifetime and these Egyptians were those who utterly rejected the word of God and were faithless. Moses stepping into the sea was an act of faith, the Egyptians pursuing was an act of arrogance.

30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the army had marched around them for seven days.

Faith of who? This is Israel acting as a corporate body in faith. CNN is collapsing, it is a "wall of Jericho", Facebook is collapsing, Twitter is collapsing, Paypal is collapsing, GoFundMe is collapsing. This is all part of the wall of Jericho. With each trumpet blast a new crack appears in the wall. Soon they will be overwhelmed with trumpet blasts about pedophilia and election fraud.

31 By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient.

I consider Oscar Schindler to be a good example to understand this. He had “prostituted” himself with the Nazi’s selling them products to get rich. But he came to see the sins of the Nazi’s and he feared God more than the Nazis. So he hid several thousand Jews from extermination.

32 And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets, 33 who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.

Yes, the writer ran out of time, but the Lord gave us 2,000 years to tell these stories. Just because they are not in the Bible doesn’t mean they aren’t in biographies and histories and these words also can build your faith.

35 Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection. 36 Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. 37 They were put to death by stoning; they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated—38 the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.

Foxe's book of Martyrs tells many of these stories. There are websites dedicated to the persecuted church. These are also a wonderful way to build your faith.

39 These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, 40 since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.

So stop beating yourself up. Stop feeling like a failure. Without us they cannot be made perfect. They are depending on us. Right now they are all in the stands cheering us on. We are on the same team as Abraham, and Noah, and Moses and they are there cheering for us to bring this game home.

You have no need that I should write you

5 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night

I was struck by Paul saying that concerning the times and seasons, you have no need that I should write you. Paul wrote this book about the signs of the Lord's coming, they asked him about the times and seasons and yet he says you have no need for him to write. He didn't say "you don't need to know that" but rather "you know perfectly well". Paul's letters represent the Lord's heavenly ministry. If we don't need Paul to tell us because we already know, then doesn't that mean that we were told by the Lord in His earthly ministry? More and more we are seeing pattern is prophecy and the pattern is in the gospels. Not only so but Paul continues that we know the day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night. The Lord told us that. So then, instead of looking at the Old Testament, what do the gospels say about the rapture?

So what do we know about the time and season of the Mount of Transfiguration? We see the two witnesses but they are not to be revealed until the Lord is glorified.

The rebuke of Peter is the biggest rebuke in the gospels, stunning really. However, "six days later" could refer to the six thousand years of human history since the fall of man. God said "on that day you shall surely die" and after these six days in the grave we have resurrection. Since it is "after six days" it would be on the seventh day and the number seven is a reference to the church. Peter's rebuke could be a reference to the falling away that we see in the church where they are telling people they don't need to crucify the flesh.

Why is it "about the eighth day". The eighth day is when you start a new beginning and it is also when you offer up the firstborn of your herd and when you circumcise a firstborn male. When the Lord said He was going to go to the cross that is the circumcision, the cutting off of the flesh. The rapture is "about" the same thing. So the rapture is all about "the eighth day" the day you present the first fruit of the church to God as an offering.

Everyone is examining the types and shadows, that is fine, the feasts are a shadow of things to come, but Paul told us clearly that we had already been told about the time and season from the Lord Jesus. It is not reasonable to think that Paul an expert in the Old Testament would tell gentile believers they had no need for him to write to them if this truth were in the Old Testament.

Second, the other thing that has always bothered me is that in the gospels the Lord always says "no one knows the day or the hour" and yet it seems clear from a couple of verses that not knowing the day or the hour is what happens to those who do not watch.

Revelation 3:3 Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.

I think I have finally solved this puzzle too. The Lord said that the Father knew the day and the hour. This is like a professor giving the students a very difficult problem to solve and if they watch, if they spend time with the Father, if they examine the word carefully they will discover the truths concealed in the word. The Lord's word was not that "no one can know" or that "it is not permitted to know", His word that no one does know except the Father. That is saying don't go to this one or that one, simply go to the Father to solve this puzzle. Why would the Lord command us to watch and rebuke those that don't watch? 2,000 years ago the Lord said "no one knows the day or the hour except the Father", however that doesn't mean that one week before the day we won't get a heads up like Noah did or that a couple of days before we won't get a heads up like Abraham did, or that a few hours before we won't get a heads up like Lot did.

Left Behind -- The rise of the Antichrist

I just watched this movie and the purpose is very clear, to make sure everyone knows that the Bible teaches about the rapture, that there are a number of things prophesied about in the Bible, and after the rapture they will have a great delusion lying to people about what happened.

Left Behind -- The rise of the Antichrist

Way too Tame

One thing that I believe the movie got wrong, very wrong. The movie is set on the earth six months after the rapture and we see that they are in the US, near Princeton University. So they are on the East coast. Yet the power works, there was no horrific event in the US other than the rapture which was worldwide.

From every dream, vision, prophecy recorded in this blog it appears that as the rapture takes place and saints go up the bombs come down.

Also the word "harpazo" means to be snatched out of the way of sudden destruction, so this is also the Biblical interpretation.

Also, we are getting a number of prophecies suggesting that this attack will be on the US which is the Great Babylon (the one described in Chapter 18 of Revelation, not Chapter 17 which is obviously the Vatican). This attack will kill a huge number of people in the US particularly near the coastlines. The US will be in total chaos, those who don't die will be starving, robbing, and in fear and in darkness as the electric grid goes down as well.

The Bible supports this, those who are left behind are left in "outer darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth". They touch on this ever so lightly, I don't think they understand the total chaos that will take place. The idea that six months later you still have people debating in relative peace over whether or not to believe the Bible is, to my understanding, not Biblical.

Instead, when the rapture takes place the Holy Spirit steps aside and this allows the AntiChrist to be revealed, not six months later but a day later or perhaps 3 days later or at most a week later.

My understanding is that those who survive the event and are left behind will have to migrate to the center of the country where there will be pockets of refuge cities for the gospel. Meanwhile the country will be overrun with UN peacekeepers in Blue helmets with the military on the street corners. Major cities on the coast will be obliterated, other cities will be under martial law and lockdown similar to what we saw in China where people are locked into their buildings even if they starve to death.

The movie does a nice job of preaching that there is a rapture coming and a great delusion that will attempt to "debunk" the rapture. However the polarization that we are seeing now will become much more extreme. About 80% of genuine Christians are left behind and they are now fully awake and not buying what the government is selling them, the delusion only works on those who do not want to know the truth. So even among unbelievers their will be very many who know they are lying. The delusion will be like the official news of the CCP, pretty much everyone in China knows it is a lie. They also know that if you contradict the official narrative you get hauled off to prison never to be seen again. So the idea that we have this highly rated newscaster contradicting the official narrative six months after the rapture is, in my opinion, preposterous.

The movie tries to portray how peoples lives are shattered and how they are repenting for not having believed the gospel. However, I think the actual level of "shattered" will be much, much more. Millions of people having abandoned their homes, and their cars, walking by foot to the center of the country. Read the "Good Earth" to get a better description. There will be starvation, there will be plague and there will be cannibalism. That is all prophesied in the Bible.

The Lord said it will be worse than anything ever seen in human history. This movie portrays a US that isn't even worse than what we have seen in Detroit. Combine a great Famine with Rwanda and Stalin to get a better picture.

How do you know who is speaking the truth?

I have ignored this question because it has been so long since I worried about this that I have almost forgotten.

When I first got saved I was about 12 going on 13 and I prayed and the Lord spoke to me. For months I would pray and ask all kinds of questions. But soon I realized that this sounds crazy. I couldn't prove that I was hearing from the Lord and if I told anyone they would think I was crazy, hearing voices. This is when I realized what I really needed was to know the word of God.

Ever since then I have spent 50 years looking for those who could open the word of God, shine light on the word. I don't care about who, it could be a child, a homeless guy, a person with a doctorate from seminary. What I do care about is the word of God. I give a new person five minutes. If they have not begun to shine light on the word of God in the first five minutes I lose interest. Will I miss out on some people this way? Sure. But I listen to people who also listen to others. So if someone is able to get some light it will diffuse throughout the Body until we all get the light.

12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

If you believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the only way to the Father, the incarnated word of God. Then you don't need someone to tell you the truth, you know the truth. What you do need is for someone to show you things to come, to glorify Jesus, to show you the things that belong to Jesus. We are like logs in a fire, we burn better when we have other logs burning around us and next to us.

Babylon the Great: Vatican or Multinational corporations in the US?

If you read Relation 17 it is a very clear depiction of the Vatican as Babylon the great. If you read Revelation 18 it is a very clear depiction of the USA and their multinational corporations as Babylon the Great. So which is it?

There is the "whore of Babylon", this is a reference to the multinational corporations. But if you have a whole bunch of whores then you also have a pimp. the Vatican is the pimp.

If Coca Cola or McDonalds or Apple wants to go into many if not most of these countries they must deal with the Vatican. These countries are controlled by the Catholic church, the movie The Mission shows how the catholic church determines how these countries are divided up and sold as slaves to the various slave holders.

Revelation 17 describes the Pimp of Babylon and Revelation 18 describes the whores of Babylon.

Mind Blown!

Chris Reed goes through prophecies he has documented which have been fulfilled and some which have yet to be fulfilled.

At the 24:36 mark he tells you of a dream where he saw that Chinese communists gave a "Quid pro Quo" to Biden that if he gave them Afghanistan they would give him the 2020 election.

There are many dreams and visions concerning Joe Biden leaving office before his time in office is up.

I am providing a link starts at 13:33

But here is where I am going to apply a little common sense to this prophecy. He says Biden is out before the allotted time is up due to health issues, stepping aside so that Kamala Harris could be president but she is only president for a few weeks or months.

One interpretation of that is that he steps aside a few weeks or months before his term is up. The election is two and a half months before the term is up, can you imagine a president being elected president and then stepping aside due to health before even taking office? That seems unthinkable.

He also says that the Democrats are doing this because they don't want him leading the ticket in 2024 and they will spin this as him being heroic by causing the first woman to be president.

Well, if he loses the election in November how heroic is it to then step aside so that Kamala could finish out his term? That seems to be a joke. Also, the campaign for president has already started with both Trump and Biden already declaring their candidacy. If the Democrats don't want Biden leading the ticket they need to move quick. It would seem to me that Newsom or whoever would have to ramp up their campaign very quickly and you would want Biden to step aside in the next two months.

So let's return to Kamala, if Biden steps aside early in the campaign to give someone else a chance to run then Kamala being president for weeks or a few months means she also does not finish out the term. Why? You aren't going to remove her because the economy is imploding. What could be so bad, so catastrophic, that in a few weeks or months she gets yanked?

In many countries you see this when war hits, if the leader is not up for being a war time consiglieri they get rid of them. The other situation is a total collapse. Anything short of that I can't see Kamala being ousted.

So he doesn't say this, I am simply applying common sense to what he does say. If Biden steps aside because the Democrats don't want him heading the ticket in 2024 then those discussions must already be going on. I would also point out that it could be a legal maneuver. His lawyers could conclude his best defense against the gathering storm is to claim his health is failing and he can't stand trial. If Kamala were to take charge in the next two months it would be at the height of the crisis with Russia. One could easily see her making such a mess of this that she gets yanked.

One other point, once he steps aside he will be tried. You want an ally in the President's office who has the power to pardon you and your family. If he waits too long then the trial will not be over before his puppet leaves office.

Treasury blocks House Oversight committee from Hunter Biden records

Shortly after the new Congress was seated, Congressman James Comer, Chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, wrote to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen with a records request. He wanted his committee to review any “suspicious activity reports” the Treasury might have related to Hunter Biden’s financial transactions over the years. This was meant to be part of the “Biden Incorporated” investigations that recently began. Yesterday, the Treasury’s Legislative Affairs chief, Jonathan Davidson, responded to Comer, telling him to basically go pound sand. His letter wasn’t quite that blunt, but he declined to provide any records, saying that the Treasury would need to know more details about why the committee would need such “highly sensitive” information. His justification for declining the request doesn’t appear to be very substantial, however. (Yahoo News)

https://hotair.com/jazz-shaw/2023/0...t-committee-from-hunter-biden-records-n526710

This is a good example. If I am in the Democrats leadership I would be appalled at this. Can you imagine how badly they will be attacked during their campaigns? They already lost the house, the Senate hangs by a thread, and Biden is at all time lows in the polls. I suspect behind closed doors they are pointing out how Bannon, Tucker, and all the rest will have a field day with this. So then, the best thing to do is resign, step aside for your health, have a speedy trial with a favorable judge, and then have Kamala pardon you.

After that you can cut it down

6 He also spoke this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. 7 Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, ‘Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?’ 8 But he answered and said to him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. 9 And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.’ ”

This is a 4 year warning before God cuts down a nation. The USA was warned during the full moon of August, 2017 that resulted in a solar eclipse over Washington DC. The idea is that 2017 was a jubilee year, 50 years after 1967 which was also a jubilee year which was 50 years after 1917 which was also a jubilee year based on a prophecy from some rabbi many years previously. The Lord looked for fruit in 2018 but it wasn't there, so he gave it four years and dung it, 2021 was known as the "dung year" since the number in Hebrew equalled the word for dung. This indicates that the 70th week will begin after 2022, the Hebrew year starts April 2, 2022 and ends April 1, 2023.

What do you think, has the Lord found the fruit of righteousness in the US and Israel?
