I think I get what you are conveying. And I totally agree that anyone saying, "I have the answers that you are not capable of understanding.", are not needed. I believe most of us can use teachers, pastors, fellow christians, Etc, to help us along our walk with Him, and i prefer these helpers to prompt us to seek these truths in scripture. Iron sharpens iron. (And our leaders being humble is key.)
I agree completely it is the Holy Spirit that is the ultimate end to these means, that internalizes His truth in us.
