Complete and utter nonsense!

Acts 18v24-26: A woman teaches "the way of God more accurately" to an apostle!

You've a problem with "male chauvinism," sir!
I am not going to argue a point that is so clearly taught in Scripture. Either you believe what God has said or you do not.

1Ti 2:12 But I permit not a woman to teach, nor to have dominion over a man, but to be in quietness.

All I can say is that if God can use you to help stir up folks to more fully dedicate themselves to the Lord, then more power to you.

As for me, even though I've only been here a short while, I'm already feeling that a very high percentage of my own labor here is in vain, so I'll probably cut back on my own participation in these threads for a bit as I continue to seek the Lord's will for my own life.

Have a great day in Jesus.
You dont have to respond to me but I want you to know yes it is going to feel like your labor has and is in vain like I said we are a stubborn children but no matter how stubborn people are they are worth dealing with that is how family is

My calling is not your calling we are all given different assignments no one soldier is the same that is what makes an effective army so if you feel the right thing to do is to leave here then go with it and sow your labor where God has you in your life with your friends your family and workers as only you can

Leave Doctrine at the door? Never going to happen. ALL Truth, is Doctrine and Doctrine is what separates believers from those who are imitation. Either we follow the Doctrinal Truths are we are following something else. That something else are our experiences. Experiences are subjective and most be measured against the Objective Truth revealed, the Scriptures, as to their genuineness.

Acts 17:11 Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of the mind, examining the Scriptures daily, whether these things were so.

As to the importance of Doctrine:

Job_11:4 For thou sayest, My doctrine is pure, And I am clean in thine eyes.

Rom_16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them that are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which ye learned: and turn away from them.

Eph_4:14 that we may be no longer children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;

1Ti_1:3 As I exhorted thee to tarry at Ephesus, when I was going into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge certain men not to teach a different doctrine,
1Ti_1:10 for fornicators, for abusers of themselves with men, for men stealers, for liars, for false swearers, and if there be any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;
1Ti_6:1 Let as many as are servants under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honor, that the name of God and the doctrine be not blasphemed.
1Ti_6:3 If any man teaches a different doctrine, and consent not to sound words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness
;

There are many more verses on the importance of good Doctrine.

If my Christian life or that of another does not follow sound Doctrine then we must examine ourselves. Doctrines are simply the Truths of God placed into specific categories, for the purpose of instruction. Example Theology, Soteriology, Eschatology and so on.

Leave Doctrine at the door? May it never be.
Im sorry I couldnt read the rest of your post because you said something that I had to touch on now, you said doctrine is truth but unless im mistake Jesus said he is the truth the way and the life Now I want you to sit there and think about what you said and what Jesus said

Since you admitted to not reading the whole post, thus, ignoring the verses I gave you from the Scriptures, that action is to your own loss.

Jesus is the embodiment of the Truth. He is the Eternal Word. In order to understand His Words and His person, one must have a good handle on the Scriptures. This would be Good Doctrine.

I do not expect you to agree with me, after all if you did, it would expose your experience as non-Biblical. I simply suggest you stop listening to your self proclaimed preacher and spend more time in the study of God's Word.

2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine; but, having itching ears, will heap to themselves teachers after their own lusts;
2Ti 4:4 and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside unto fables.

The word of God was originally written in hebrew and greek and trust me its always best to read something from the original source but language or translation isnt what we should concern ourselves with what we should concern ourselves with is even after all our studying all the years and days and nights reading the word of God do we even understand it at all? And do we apply the word of God to our lives? If I gave you a dare a challendge to wake up from the second you wake up with every thing that requires a choice ask your self before even act what does the word of God say about that?

Ask yourself this in everything all day and whatever the word of God says about it accept it dont question it and then apply it to that situation do this for seven days and tell the results

If one took on such a challenge they would see if they really understood the word of God because the results and how God would move would be a game changer to them. If we claim to understand the word of God but dont see results what good is the word of God to us? We need to seriously ask ourselves if we understand the word of God how do we aplly it to our lives and ourselves and do we see results do we see God move when we aplly his word? Because he is not a liar and he doesnt care what we think we understand he is telling us and we need to be quiet and listen there is life and actual power in the word of God it is alive but few know this because we as the church have fallen asleep and he is calling us right here and now he is raising an army for those who answer the call but it seems to me we need to get serious we need to have the zeal and fire for Christ that scares people we by all accounts are supposed to be different strange even we are supposed to bring his kingdom with us and not just show who our God is but prove it and it all begins with surrender.

The most amazing experience I had with him was not even when his presence filled my room it was when I was brought to my knees my heave to the ground curled up even before and surrendered to him and made him my king and Lord. That surrender letting everything go letting him take everything of me and everything inside me completely giving him ownership over me as if i have no will of mine was the most beautiful and powerful thing and the joy and gift of surrender lead me down a new path with him I had my eyes opened to the word of God seeing exactly just how pure and powerful it really is and I am still in training in all of this

But im dead serious we all need to really get serious about our walk with him he isnt playing around anymore
yeah brother we definately need to take the things Jesus said seriously

But no I don’t think people today very many at all maybe a hundredth of a percent of the world continuos population would ever actually learn to understand ancient samdscrit , Hebrew or Aramaic which is what the Bible’s Old Testament was written in. Ancient Aramaic and Samarian also influence the mafia he of the oldest texts we have

What language we speak or understand doesn’t have any impact God already dealt with language barriers when he sent out his witnesses from Jerusalem speaking in all languages

The New Testament is written mostly in Greek originally but even though our language is closer to Ancient Greek than ancient Hebrew and Aramaic doesn’t matter either we have to trust the holt spirit to get the word to us correctly so we can understand it

That’s what the gift of tongues was about preaching the gospel spoken in Aramaic by Jesus , in everyone’s language in order to carry out the great commission of they went around preaching only in Hebrew no one would understand so God enabled them to speak in all Languages we have to rely on the holt ghost being the one behind Gods word being spread into the world in all languages

I agree after seventy years I’ve learned that debating translation is a rabbit hole that distracts people from learning what’s in the Bible in their own language

abut we definately agree that we have to take the gospel serious I’m not sure thats a question if we believe because it’s about the salvation of our everlasting souls any believer will realize that’s serious business but is we don’t believe we aren’t going to take it seriously and we might say

“ it doesn’t matter what Jesus said I’m saved by grace” which owe we aren’t taking it very seriously t all and maybe we don’t even really believe the gospel

I'm not here to debate or argue Im here to give what is given to me and again there is a calling and if people cant hear it their not listening and if people dont answer they will miss the bus and this isnt a bus you want to miss.

This is a message to me just as much as it is anyone else this only started for me but this calling requires us to really surrender to him if you have to force yourself on your knees to be in the spirit of surrender so beit however you get to that full surrender to him do it search your heart and really ask yourself are you serious about following Christ have you really given your all to him can he actually say he holds the deed to you in his hands?

The glory of God is real and it is going to be revealed but it is the for his children the sheep not the goats

Do not turn away from the battles that are before all believers. Stay the course. Fore we know that all of the true men of God never had it easy nor were many ever listened too.

John 12:38 that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? And to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?

Not many have endured the anger that I have endured on this chat but as long as the Lord has a door open, I will continue the good fight of the Faith. Good Lord willing. I defend the most hated Doctrine in the World, Election and Predestination and will do so because there are many here that watch and do not participate and you never know how God will use your words, if your words are Truth.

Be of Good Cheer.

Yes your right the language barrier is broken but that only means we can read his word in different flavors necause while yes the language barrier is broken that doesnt mean all languages are the same so it gives a different vibe of sorts to what the scripture says and also it isnt required to read it in hebrew if you dont know how or dont want to but trust me the bible does open up in a big way if you read it in the original languages

But I also know you dont need me to tell you this as I know you have a good head on your shoulder

brother I have studied ancient Hebrew on my own I did it for about ten years ,in my thirties I don’t speak it fluently but if I sit down with text I can make some sense of it I don’t claim to be a pro or anything but honestly I don’t find an issue all I discovered was how accurate the kjv and original niv are even though they use dofferent words

“that doesnt mean all languages are the same so it gives a different vibe of sorts to what the scripture says and also it isnt required to read it in hebrew if you dont know how or dont want to but trust me the bible does open up in a big way if you read it in the original languages”

no brother I didn’t say all languages are the same I’m saying if you speak in Hebrew to a person that speaks Vietnamese it’s pointless . God knows this so he caused his word to be expressed in all languages so that Vietnamese person can hear the gospel or a French person can inderersnd the Bible or an English person ect Innorder for God to fulfill his word he caused it to be spoken and written in tbe world to all nations in thier language

what im testing to say and probably confusing you is when God says something will happen in the future he will bring it to pass

So Because he said this

“And the gospel must first be published among all nations.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭13:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:14‬

My point is brother God is who caused th Bible to be published in every nations language , sure men held the pen , what I’m saying is by faith I know that God caused the Bible to reach as many people as possible so they can hear and learn and be saved and he doesn’t require anyone to learn any other foreign language

I found it to be a waste of energy and distraction honestly all it made me realize was “ wow the kjv is really accurate to the texts “ but Sonia the niv it just uses different more modern words to say the same things …
my position is based on my belief that God caused his word to be fulfilled and hats why the Bible is available in any language and conveys the same message to people who don’t understand the same languages or the original Aramaic or Hebrew

It’s not a big issue brother to me I just find that a lot of people who begin focusing on ancient Hebrew come up with some terribly bad interpretations (Eg Joseph prince or Paul Ellis )

I suppose we’re looking at it from different angles there was a time I insisted it was going to open up a secret hidden understanding of the Bible to study ancient Hebrew , that’s why I put a good ten years into it , but it never did open up any hidden secret knowledge

I never really benefited but for enjoyment in learning something new I have always seemed to learn by first prayer for understanding , then study of the scripture in my language , the. Probably most important make an effort to start following after what I learn

i don’t think I have a real long road ahead of me left in this world , but I do have a pretty long road behind me to reflect upon I suppose our perspectives change with time and experience

well reading it in english or in another language is fine and dandy and while I mentioned the hebrew ;anguage my main concern is us understanding the word of God as a whole

Even though I mentioned the hebrew language language or translation isnt my concern rather we need to understand it as a whole. @awelight or assuming my eyes read correctly said something that shocked me he said doctrine is truth. There is only one truth and that is Jesus doctrine only sepeerates the body of Christ and makes us see through lenses of our own understanding and its the mindset of doctrine that pollutes the word.

I didnt bother reading anything else he spoke because if this simple truth escaped him then how can I take anything else he has to say seriously hoe can I assume he has any understanding of the word of God if truth escapes him?

See whatever language we read it in doesnt matter if we are blind to the truth the pharisees were very doctrininal they knew the scriptures by heart yet were blind to the truth of Christ

Yes people have studied the bible for years butit's one thing to study it it's another thing entirely to have every word ofGod soak into your soul and this will only happen if you seek the truth.

even the most simple teachings in there are insanely profound we often times go after the meat od the word when we dont even know we dont understand the simple things of it yet. The word of God is alive and breathing there is actual power flowing through those pages but the lenses we see through will decide what the word of God is to us

Language translation how long you have studied it none of that matters in the end because if you go into it with the wrong eyes and mindset then all your studying was in vain because you didnt really see what was being said you didnt understand what was spoken

We call it the word of God is that a title or do we treat is a word spoken directly from his mouth because if God spoke to me I would treat every word he spoke as holy and without question it doesnt matter what I thought I knew or what understanding I had because we dont lean on our understanding

People have more questions from reading the word than answers and the word of God is truth truth is supposed to a revelation it is supposed to bring us closer to the throne room but look at all these dividing doctrines and differents views and understanding many different so called truths when there is only one truth and that is Jesus Christ no if ands or buts and you best believe he doesn't care what we think is truth or what we think the word of God says he is telling us as it is we can either take him at his word or waste our time tring to make the word fit our agenda I mean is it any wonder that the bible seems to contradict itself in the debates and discussions we have? God is not mocked and his word is law we all need to rededicate ourselves to his word and this time do it right, what is the truth? what is the word of God?When we call the bible the word of God do we really mean that? Becuase if your not treating every verse in there as if it is him speaking then your doing it wrong, the word of God has the word of life in it and if he is speaking this is when we shut up and listen

We all need to rededicate ourselves to his word and this time do it right. What is the truth? What is the word of God? When we call the bible the word of God do we really mean that? Becuase if you're not treating every verse in there as if it is him speaking then you're doing it wrong. The word of God has the word of life in it; and if he is speaking, this is when we shut up and listen.
As in Acts 2:37, my question then is: "What shall we do?"

You listen. Think about all I have said, I said something crazy in my op I said I would leave you all behind that I would be activated in fact I probably seemed insane but what I said was prophetic it's going to happen and it probably seems like a mystery as to what I am talking about and it is a mystery that is what the wonder of God is. I wasn't kidding when I said im done playing games I got a taste of the real thing and Im going to a place with him few know.

Think about the calling I keep speaking about I cant tell you what the calling is because I dont have the words its something only God whose words alone and by the power of his voice can speak its something you have to hear for yourself but also remember all I said about surrender it all starts there I mean really surrendering surrendering is the hardest thing to start but like I said if you have to force yourself on your knees to get into the spirit of surrender and note how I said spirit of surrender you have to sync with God in this it's something he is going to have to gently bring you to your knees in

But Surrender is an experience not an act it's when you know how it feels to be before the mighty throne of God you devote your entire being your whole will unto him in that state iyou are no longer a servant unto God you are his right hand

When you offer your everything to him in this way it changes you and your shown a depth of God you never could have dreamed your on a whole other sync with him and that is when you begin to hear the calling

Amen

all the Bible is true but there’s only one truth that saves man as Christian’s we need to focus on Jesus Christ and what he said when he became flesh and dwelt among us because he is God and the word he spoke is Gods word of truth that offers salvation to anyone who believes whether Jew or gentile male of female black or white

See I believe the Bible has two testaments identified here

“The law and the prophets were until John: ( Old Testament )

since that time the kingdom of God is preached, ( New Testament ) and every man presseth into it.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The old is prophetic regarding the new in word and also figure and example but the new is the reality of all the prophetics of the old

One is a pattern given by Moses the other the reality given by Jesus

One has this effect on the Hearer

“Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: and not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: but their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:12-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the other has this effect on the hearer

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The gospel alone is gods power to save us who believe and in the gospel true righteousness is revealed s we hear and believe Jesus word

moses law can’t save us it can only make us guilty of sin and bring us to a need to accept the gospel which is Gods word that’s for salvation

So you have the Old Testament law and prophets preached until John

“For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

awe see how the law can’t save anyone but then the New Testament

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So you have two separate covenants given for different purposes having different ordinations and mediations one that can save man and give them everlasting life and the other which can only make them guilty before God with all the world

all a Christian really needs to do is hear the gospel and believe doing that will lead them safely home to Jesus as they hear and believe and walk by faith

specifically the word of Jesus is the word of God that is eternal Moses words aren’t thy same the prophets words aren’t the same

the apostles words ? They are an extension and elaborations and further revelations of what the lord taught them in the gospel so we have the gospel and epistles which are like study guides or companions to the gospel

what I mean to say is there is an order to scripture an authority above all the rest and it’s Jesus and the words he spoke while he was among mankind when he came into the world

“Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”
‭‭John‬ ‭18:37‬ ‭

Only the gospel can save our everlasting souls

“there is only one truth and that is Jesus Christ no if ands or buts and you best believe he doesn't care what we think is truth or what we think the word of God says he is telling us as it is we can either take him at his word or waste our time tring to make the word fit our agenda I mean is it any wonder that the bible seems to contradict itself in the debates and discussions we have?”

Amen

all the Bible is true but there’s only one truth that saves man as Christian’s we need to focus on Jesus Christ and what he said when he became flesh and dwelt among us because he is God and the word he spoke is Gods word of truth that offers salvation to anyone who believes whether Jew or gentile male of female black or white

What are going to do? Is it something you can talk about?

The thing is I have no idea Im only doing whatever he says to do I have no idea what lies ahead on my road because it's all about trust in Jesus I dont care what is ahead because my eyes can see better closed and when he is in charge.

But who know it may even be something drastic even if he called me to be on live tv which is like my worst nightmare because like I said I have been activated. But I have personally seen where we can actually go with him a kind of depth in him that will make you awe
Every posy I have made here even just responces to people what if you looked at it all and really thought about everything I said and think about the spirit that came over me that I spoke about

There is a message to be understood in all of it right now my role is to declare the message im just the vessel I dont even know the next the words that will come out of my mouth nut that is how I like it complete surrender

I want to tell you all a story I heard of this old lady who was also a pastor she went to texas to start a church I cant remember the name of the town but I know it was near my hometown Amarillo this church happened to be one with black and white people in it and this town also happened to have a group you might have heard of the klu klux clan and im sure i mispelled so you'll have to forgive me. Now as you can imagine it didnt take long for them to pop in for a visit they threatened her saying if she didnt shut down her church or send away the black folks they would beat her torture her and kill her

This old lady looks them dead in the face and says you will have to walk through fire before you can touch me I belong to the Lord Now I dont know where she is from but she belongs in texas she has a texans spirit and you know what happened after that? they gave her one day to do as they said they returned to their base and their base was ablaze in fire not just on fire but ablaze

See this old women who im sure got a lot of hate for being a women pastor did something most men pastors couldn't she showed what the fear of Lord is can you imagine the reaction they had when they returned to their base and remembered what she said? They never messed with her again they were scared of her this is something that is very important I mean think about it if you have the kind mindset that if anyone touches you God will be like nope not happenning that one is mine you even try and you will know the fear of the Lord

I mean when stand in that position with him you worried about people doing any harm to you because sure they has humans can do this or that but GGod can do so much more you worry about the repercussion they will see from God

He doesnt mess around when it comes to this he takes care of his things
