It may sound a bit strange but I find using good children's Bibles to introduce adults to the Bible are very useful. A gentle effective way to acquaint them with a good basic knowledge of it.

In particular I love David Kossof's 'Bible Stories' is brilliant for a person I am helping just now. The stories are told so well, simply and briefly, leaving plenty of scope for discussion and further reading as desired with a normal full Bible.

I have ordered for myself a copy of the marvellous children's 'Bible in 365 Days' by Mary Bachelor from which I learned as a child. I love the illustrations.

This one has nice illustrations.. and instead of simply narrating the illustration, it ads a level of interaction by bringing in questions also..

I’d definately agree as early as possible we should introduce a love and interest for Gods word teaching then that it’s true always and warning then they will hear alot in this world about it not being true but to stick with belief

There is an app called Bible in an hour that is useful.
