There is much more to this issue than a Chinese Balloon.

First, are we to believe that a balloon, and remember this thing is huge, could possible invade our sovereign airspace without our prior knowledge? This item is perfectly capable of carrying a nuclear, biological or chemical weapon that could devastate this nation. It could also carry out a high altitude EMP assault that is a great fear of our military. If our military did not know of this balloons approach we are all in big trouble. I believe they did know.

So why was it allowed to accomplish it's mission before we took any action? Why would civilian government officials (translate White House) prevent our military from popping the balloon before it reached our shores?

I propose the answer is in Deuteronomy Chapter 15 verse 6:

...and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations,
but they shall not reign over thee.

The Chinese régime had been buying up our debt for years, happily watching our government spending more and more. The truth is they now own us. This is why we are forced to watch enemy weapons passing unchallenged over our cities and towns. We have been betrayed.

There are laws about such things. The balloon could not be targeted until it was over US territory. It was deemed, rightly or wrongly, to be unsafe to shoot down over land. Imagine the outcry if the payload landed on someone's house.

EMP is much less of a problem for the military than for civilians. Military equipment is hardened to deal with an EMP. Releasing any weapon would be an act of war. China is not quite ready for that.

From a military perspective, I reckon that China is simply testing America's defences. They have spy satellites that can survey the USA. They don't need balloons. It will be interesting to see what can be recovered from the wreckage.

Personally, I believe that America will be struck by a natural disaster than will damage its ability to defend itself against China. Imagine the massive earthquake in California predicted for so long. China may then invade Taiwan. What happens then, only God knows for sure.

How can this be avoided? I think it's too late, not just for America but for the Western world. The moral rot that has set in means that God is leaving the West to their own ways - the worst kind of judgement. Soldiers will not fire their weapons because they might break a finger nail. The women will worry also. No wonder the armies of the world are creating robot warriors.

True. There's a pres in office who works for the CCP . That's likely a judgement from God.

The oval office might as well be the office of Chairman Mao. He's making sure the mission goes well for Xi. Only as recently as the klinton invasion were CCP generals invited to stay many times overnight at the Pennsylvania av cathouse. That's when the software and computer missile simulations the DUD/ Dept of War had went to China. Now they have equal tech advantages. They sell junk to Americans while the American leaders sell the good stuff to the chi com generals.

Norcom has been bringing down aircraft for decades. They had a lot of chances to bring both of them down over the tundra, or remote areas a hundred times. Think of what xi Jing ping pong would do if he happened to be Slow Joe. He would do exactly what Joe did, hold off northcom and wait until mission accomplished, then give an excuse.

I think the dragon of the east and bear of the north have plans. I agree with you that it appears as a test to see the military defensive responses. This is historically a tactic used before the actual event. Regardless if the two balloons were spy balloons . The biggest data they likely got was the leadership responses.

Latest breaking news ABC one hour ago. 14 million views so far. One zeppelin/ balloon recovered. I'm sure the same for the one over Montana, but no information available yet on that one.

Correct. This is the reality that absolutely no want wants to admit. And it is American traitors who have given China the USA on a silver platter. This did not happen overnight but step by step and day by day for decades.

The wonder is that while that balloon traveled across America it did not disperse the next lethal bioweapon that could have easily been spread, while the so-called American military stood by and clapped. So this was a "trial balloon" but next time Americans won't be so lucky. And then for the Navy to waste resources on "rescuing" that shredded balloon? The Chi-Coms must be rolling on the floor laughing at the stupid Gwailo.

It's world wide now. A "couple" in India are undergoing gender change. The would-be man is pregnant. They get applauded for this abomination while those who detest it are silenced.

How long will God endure this rejection of His ways and of His people? I don't know. It does seem that nothing can change the hearts of the rebellious any more. Are we in the time of:
Revelation 22:

"10Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of prophecy in this book, because the time is near. 11Let the unrighteous continue to be unrighteous, and the vile continue to be vile; let the righteous continue to practice righteousness, and the holy continue to be holy.” 12“Behold, I am coming soon, and My reward is with Me, to give to each one according to what he has done.…"?

Here is what I don't understand, the US government shot down three objects and don't know what they are.

1. Why are you shooting down something if you don't know what it is?

and

2. Wouldn't you realize what it is you shot down as soon as you retrieve it?

and

3. Wouldn't the owner of whatever it is you shot down let you know that you shot down their balloon, or whatever?
