Are you? Can you turn water into wine? Walk on water? Heal the sick, raise the dead?
Matthew 10:7-8 KJV
And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
[8] Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Wish you all could see the look on a ladies face when she gets her vision restored by Him as He uses you.

I posed this question earlier in this thread.
Just define "Biblical Virtue" It could mean different things to different people. Even Paul had issues with this. Romans 7:15, ESV: For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.

Define " Biblical virtue "
Since you started this forum, the purpose of my question is to clarify your position, not mine.
I'm not asking you to define it right now. I'm just establishing common ground on whether this conversation even matters.

So I ask again:

Is purity a Biblical virtue?

I think it has no impact on your marriage. You can follow all the purity rules you like, but it's no promise your marriage will succeed.
While its not a promise statistics show a much higher success rate for those who maintain purity until marriage

You asked the question "Is purity a Biblical virtue?" It's up to you to give your definition.

You guys should apply for the position of Supreme Court Justice. They aren’t good with defining things either.

Are you asking me to define "purity" because you don't know the answer?

I've known couples who have tried the purity movement before marriage, no one on one dating, no physical contact until after marriage....those marriages did not do well.

Purity is not optional for those who seek to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. He is our example as well as our Lord and Savior.

1 Timothy 4:12
“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

If you define purity as "no one on one dating, no physical contact until after marriage ", you're asking for trouble.

I guess I'm in pretty big trouble then. Please pray for me, brother John.

According to the institute of family studies, people who are virgins when they marry have about a 5% divorce rate. Comlaring that to the nearly 50% divorce rate in America. Even with minimal math skill one would find it not hard at all to observe a major difference there.

By the 2010s, only 5 percent of new brides were virgins......you're talking about a very low number of people who are virgins when they marry. Also note they only count women.
