1) Matthew 6:33- Therefore, keep on seeking- FIRST- the kingdom and his ( YHWH(Jehovah) righteousness and all these things will be added.( sustenance, covering, spirituality-Matt 6)
2) Matthew 5:5-- Blessed are the meek for they( great crowd) will inherit the EARTH.
3) The Lords prayer-- Hallowed be thy(Father) name-YHWH(Jehovah)
4) John 17:1-6,26-- Verse3 Jesus teaches-the one who sent him( Father) is THE ONLY TRUE GOD-- verse 6= YHWH(Jehovah) verse 26= YHWH(Jehovah)
5) Jesus teaches he has a God just like us-John 20:17, Rev 3-12- his Father as do his real teachers-Coll 1:3, Eph 1:3,17--1Peter 1:3
6) John 15:20-21-- Jesus warns that some would do things against the true followers, thinking were standing for Jesus-Why? Because they did not know the one who sent him-Father-YHWH(Jehovah)
7) I am the way, the truth and the life, No one comes to the Father but through me.-- The Father is ones destination. To accomplish the following-24/7, 365
8) John 4:22-24

So it will be 100% fact that the teachers on earth who have Jesus teach exactly what he taught.

There seem to be 3 issues here:


1.) Each of these verses have a context which is not being explored, and that context may entirely change the understanding and ultimate meaning.

2.) Jesus taught more than 8 things. He taught a great many other things... some of which affect the understanding of these 8 things.

3.) The OP didn't merely quote the sayings of Jesus, he also offered a particular INTERPRETATION of the sayings.
And this interpretation was giving without offering any explanation for the interpretation, such as through contextualization, language study, historical/cultural study, biblical cross referencing, hermeneutic methodology, alternate views... etc. etc.

Your view, that Jesus is not God, seems to be at clear odds with:
The apostle Paul, the church fathers, all the church creeds, all the church councils, all traditional denominations, and virtually all sermons, writings, scholars, and teachings of Christians throughout all of church history... not to mention the words of Jesus and the apostles which can be studied with more care and precision than you've have a tendency to do.


Nonetheless... I suppose you are free to disagree with... virtually everyone.

Paul warned of other gods being false and named only the Father as God-1Cor 8:5-6--He as well taught over and over that the Father is Jesus' God-Coll 1:3, Eph 1:3,17-- 2Cor 1:3, --1 Cor 15:24-28--2 Cor 11:31--So did Peter 1 Peter 1:3 as did Jesus-John 20:17, Rev 3:12

His belief is that Jesus is not God.

He is most likely a Jehovah's Witness... but he could be a Muslim.

(JW's tend to cut and paste very prescribed, cherry picked verses, with cherry picked interpretations... and they tend to respond only to cherry picked arguments, and avoid discussion of things they have not been trained to argue.)

I'm not sure that is much difference between the two. All little g's are false God's, since they die like men, if they aren't imaginary. It seems he is remiss to respond to me, in respect to my gender perhaps. But I remember, although I can't be certain if it were his commentary due to the cycles of turnover of new posters in the forums, his assertion that Jesus did not actually die. This reinforces my inclination to think he is Muslim.

yep, it does not matter what one believes or who one believe in, if one does not believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, they will not be saved.

Not at all--There is only 1 God, capitol G. Being called god small g means has godlike qualities.

No i believe Jesus has godlike qualities because God did all the powerful works through him-Acts 2:22-1Cor 8:5-6-- Mortals cannot kill God.

I am really amazed from this post here and the fact your belief system likes to point out John 14 where Jesus said the Father lives inside me doing the works you are not oneness to the point of claiming Jesus and the Father are the same and it shows the Father is Omnipresent [Dwelling inside Jesus while no doubt on His Heavenly Throne]...

...but NO!!
You go the other oneness direction by claiming Jesus is not God.

Interesting how similar your viewpoints are when comparing oneness doctrine.

One literally throws All of God into Jesus

And

The other literally removes All of God from Him..

It took old doubting Thomas awhile to realize who he was dealing with too but he came around
