Imagine I forced myself into your house and said your house and everything in it is mine now.
You can still stay here but I get to decide which rooms you can use.
That's basically what's happening in Palestine
God did say He would bring back His people to Israel and never let it be taken away from them. So far, that's what's been happening -- no one's been able to take it away from the Jews.

Jeremiah 30:3 'The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will bring my people Israel and Judah back from captivity and restore them to the land I gave their ancestors to possess,’ says the Lord.”

Zechariah 12:1 The Lord, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the human spirit within a person, declares: 2 “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. 3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves. 4 On that day I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness,” declares the Lord. “I will keep a watchful eye over Judah, but I will blind all the horses of the nations. 5 Then the clans of Judah will say in their hearts, ‘The people of Jerusalem are strong, because the Lord Almighty is their God.’

You can go ahead and try to fight them, but you're all just going to hurt yourselves. You're not fighting Jews, you're fighting GOD.

Well if the USA and Canada are illegitimate countries so is every other country on the planet since history is a story of conquests and subjugation told over and over again.

The narrative that USA/Canada were stolen is largely an exaggeration by modern historians and there is good evidence other civilizations preceded the aboriginals.

Anyway, I have read your posts you are prone to exaggerations and ad hominem I have absolutely no desire to engage you on any topic.
Or, maybe this is just a hypocritical argument against Israel. My point is if Israel's claim is illegitimate then so are most other countries. The aborigines were in Australia before the UK emptied the jails. New Zealand was horrific to their native population. Ireland is another example. We could go on all day, it is hypocrisy to cry about Israel having no right to live there.

Are you stating the Jews are in Israel because God wants them there?

Have you ever considered the above excerpts have been fulfilled?

Dude did and you seemed to agree with him.

Dude said that “I forced myself into your house” which means that he is saying the land of Israel belongs to the Palestinians and the Jews are illegitimate residents. You seemed to agree in Post #24.

I'm just looking at what's happening. All these countries surrounding and attacking Israel since 1948 and the enemies keep getting their butts handed back to them on a silver plater.

If you studied the Six Days war in 1967, it really was a miracle. Not only was Israel able to send their enemies packing with heavy casual and military installments destroyed, but Israel even reunified Jerusalem into a whole which they weren't even expecting!

So keep watching. Every time Israel is attacked, the Jews will be able to fight their enemies off, as God watches over them. Also notice the heavier casualties on their enemies side as opposed to Israel's lighter casualties.

No, it's not basically what's happening at all. First of all there no such thing as Palestinians. No history, no such people, they are Arabs from Arab countries. They were offered land at least 3 times and refused it. They have no right to complain now.

I tell you what how about you study the demolition of Israel by the Romans in 70 AD as Jesus foretold and warned for their harlotry and get back to me. There is neither Jew nor Gentile in Jesus. They had their time, they fulfilled their purpose. Jesus told the truth to the people in front of Him, not 2000 years down the road.
The beast will hate the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked and devour her flesh and burn her up with fire, for God has put it into their hearts to carry out His purpose by being of one mind and handing over their royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.
Revelation 17:16-17

Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you,…
Luke 13:34

The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls.
Luke 19:43–44

How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! … Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
Luke 21:23–24

You seem rather upset, at least it seems so to me . God made an unconditional covenant with Abraham and there are still things within it to be fulfilled. The prophecy clock started in 48 when Israel became a nation again. God is not finished with the Jews. Romans 11 makes that clear. They have been punished for disobedience, but God still calls them to repent and turn back to Him. The Jews have been blinded for a time. But there is a time when they will have all the land God promised them and they will recognize the Messiah and He will take away their sins. God is not finished with the Jewish people.

Not upset at all.

I know this point of view but I do not think think it holds up under closer scrutiny,

Anyway each person has to figure it out for themselves, just trying to get people to think twice about what they have been told and retold. :)

A lot of interesting history behind the discussion. Sorry if I misread you. It is a little early in the morning for me. I have been "partying" all weekend. My parents just celebrated 51 years of marriage, my father turned 70 and my birthday is today. So we joke that we party all March. Lots of food, too much food. Gonna have to take it easier this week. lol

Prophetic Timelines

Isaiah 46:10 -- "Declaring the end from the beginning".

Known as the Berisheet prophecy. The first word in the Bible, Berisheet which we translate as "In the Beginning" lays out this redemptive prophetic timeline. This word reveals when, where and what will happen.

7,000 year Dispensational timeline begins with the sin of Adam, not with Adam's creation.

AKH-AR-EET prophecy

The Hebrew word we translate as "End". This word is unique. In the OT we see the english word "end" 300 times and 28 times in Isaiah. However, this word AKH-AR-EET is only found once in Isaiah and about 20 times in the entire Bible.

This word is often translated as "Hereafter". In Isaiah 46 we read that Israel is going into captivity. Chastening them for spiritual adultery. Around 720 BC.

In the hereafter they are promised a place of protection and hope. First character -- Aleph (strong leader, picture of God, first of a kind, Adam -- first man) Second character -- Chet -- Fenced garden, a safe fenced sanctuary and it is the number 8, a number that refers to Jesus, the Messiah.

Berisheet shows that Adam is not in the garden (after sinning), in the hereafter Adam is in the garden.

A major prophecy of the "hereafter" is in Ezekiel 36:35 "and they shall say this land that was desolate is like the Garden of Eden and hte waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced and are inhabited".

Fourth Character is Yood -- Hand doing a Divine deed, accomplishes something ordained in heaven. The number of ordinal perfection (10) and it a multiplier.

Fifth Character is Tav -- a character that means sign, and the pictorgraph is a picture of the cross. It is the number 400.

We use the Cross as the centerpoint and go back 4,000 years (400 x 10) and we come to the year Adam sinned (Use prophetic years of 360 days).

The third character -- Reysch a prince or head person. This has the number 200. Multiply 200 by 10 (Yod, the multiplier) and you learn that this head person, this prince will arrive in 2000 years, the "hereafter".

To be continued...

Revelation 17:16-17
I understand this passage to be about Babylon, the one world religion, and not Israel. The one world religion which encompasses all the religions of the world into one would be easier to destroy than if they were all separate. That way, when it's destroyed, the false prophet can set the antichrist beast as god. Then he'll institute the mark of the beast

Yeah, this was in 70AD when Rome came against them. God had to punish her for having His Son killed. Then they were sent away from their land and scattered all over the world for the next ~2,000 years. And wherever they went, they were persecuted, but God made sure a remnant always survived.

God did say though that He'd bring them back to the land of Israel and that happened on May 14, 1948.

How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! … Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
Luke 21:23–24
This talks about when the antichrist will set up the abomination that causes desolation in the holy place. But God will provide a place for them to run to for safety.

So terrible things did happen for them for rejecting Jesus and being so stubborn but God always made sure they were never wiped out.

Don't you wonder why?

It's because God is protecting their seed who would actually accept His Son as their Messiah. Even through out the generations up to now, there been a few who got saved (I know some myself). But in the end times there will more. I'm not sure if it will really be 144,000 - 12,000 from each tribe, but it shows a good number of them will realize who Jesus is and get saved.

More Prophetic timelines

Ezekiel 4

The 10 Northern Tribes of Israel suffered a 390 year "time out" for their years of Iniquity

and the Southern Kingdom of Israel suffered a 40 year disciplinary time out for their iniquity.

Ezekiel 4:3b-6 "This shall be a sign to the house of Israel. 4 Moreover lie thou upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it; according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it, thou shalt bear their iniquity. 5 For I have appointed the years of their iniquity to be unto thee a number of days, even three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. 6 And again, when thou hast accomplished these, thou shalt lie on thy right side, and shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah: forty days, each day for a year, have I appointed it unto thee.

The period of time between the 30AD crucifixion and the 70AD seige of Jerusalem is 40 years.

Two major events heralding an end and a beginning: the crucifixion and the destruction of the temple.

Leviticus 26

18 And if ye will not yet for these things hearken unto me, then I will chastise you seven times more for your sins.

21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me, I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

24 then will I also walk contrary unto you; and I will smite you, even I, seven times for your sins.

28 then I will walk contrary unto you in wrath; and I also will chastise you seven times for your sins.

During the 40 years after the crucifixion of Jesus did any of the national leaders of Israel heed the pleadings of the Apostle Peter or any of the other apostles? Did they listen to Stephen?

No, they were all put to death. They doubled down on their rejection of Jesus.

7 x 40 = 280 + 70AD = 350 AD.

Did Israel repent in 350AD? No, in the Talmud they doubled down on their scorn of Jesus.

7 x 280 = 1960 years. 1960 - 280 (time served) = 1680 years.

70AD + 280 years = 350 AD. Now add 1680 years to 350 AD = 2030 AD.

The Bible tells us that God would bring unrepentant Israel back into the land, which He did in 1948. However, the millenial kingdom where they receive Jesus as the Messiah, the prophesied "hereafter" begins in 2030

From 70 AD to 2030 is 1960 years.

1960 / 49 = 40

40 Jubilee cycles. (A shemitah is a 7 year period like the 70th week in Daniel. A set of seven Shemitah's is 49 years, the next year, the start of a new cycle of seven Shemitah's is known as the Jubilee year.

7 x 7 is also equal to the two prophetic periods of punishment in Leviticus. So this is a second way to check our math.

Israel was given 40 years to repent for the cross of Christ, after that they were given a penalty and that penalty will ultimately last for 40 Jubilee cycles.
