Romans 8:37...Nay, in all things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.

I've always thought this to be an odd verse. Why are we said to be more than conquerors and not merely conquerors?
conquerors don’t live forever the sons of God do is one way they are more than conquerors

God allows us to be in circumstances of weakness beyond our ability to overcome personally, and which are often purposefully employed
by the enemy for our demise. And God clearly wants us to go through these situations in faith believing all that you have stated.

In the end, as we exercise faith, God intervenes and not only defeats the enemy but uses what the enemy has employed to defeat us
to defeat him. Could this be a plausible explanation for why we are not just conquerors, but more than conquerors in Him who loves us?
Reminds me of the story of how Haman met his end (in the book of Esther)-:)

Ah, it’s because He loved us.
“For God so loved the world”
Now because of that love, we have the power on standby, there waiting for us to decide, do we want to be
“more than conquerors,”
“in all things,”
or just some things.
The heart of God is for us to be more than conquerors in all things.
By His grace.

We must remember
In all of our trials and temptations
That Satan is a defeated foe.
The blood of Christ is there on the mercy seat in heaven.
Stay on the Victors side.
Christ laid down His life, that we might be more than conquerors.
