Playing with 20:23

Matthew 20:22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink the cup that I am about to drink? They say unto him, We are able. 23 He saith unto them, My cup indeed ye shall drink: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left hand, is not mine to give; but it is for them for whom it hath been prepared of my Father. 24 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation concerning the two brethren. 25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. 26 Not so shall it be among you: but whosoever would become great among you shall be your minister;

Imagine that these verses are also years. 20:22 is 2022, 20:23 is 2023. Also remember that the Jewish year begins on Nisan 1 which is March 24. In 2022 these believers are boasting that sure, they can drink the same cup that the Lord drank when He was crucified. Then in 2023 they realize they are in the tribulation and they will drink the same cup that the Lord drank! In 2024 "the ten" referring to those who are left behind are "indignant" concerning the two who were taken in the rapture. This is where they get a word from the Lord, if you want to be great in the kingdom you need to become a servant of all. The cross of Christ is about humbling ourselves and becoming a slave and being willing to die an ignominious death.

John 2:22 When therefore he was risen from the dead His disciples remembered that He had said this unto them, and they believed the scripture and the word which Jesus had said.

Suppose 2:22 represents 2022 which ends on Nisan 1, March 24th, and that the rapture takes place during this year. What will happen when therefore the saints are raptured from the dead? The Christians who are left behind will remember what those who were raptured were saying unto them and they will believe the scripture and the word which Jesus had said.

New Age Bible Versions

Gail Riplinger the author of New Age Bible Versions which exposes the additions, here is the official description:

This book is the result of an exhaustive six-year collation of new bible versions, their underlying Greek manuscripts, editions, and editors. It objectively and methodically documents the hidden alliance between new versions and the New Age Movement's One World Religion. The emerging 'new' Christianity - with its substitution of riches for righteousness, a crown for a cross, and an imitation for a new creation - is shown to be a direct result of the wording in new versions. Documented are the thousands of words, verses, and doctrines by which new versions will prepare the apostate churches of these last days to accept the religion of the Antichrist - even his mark, image, and Lucifer worship. The Greek manuscripts, critical editions, lexicons and dictionaries behind the new versions are examined, revealing their occult origins, contents, and yet unreleased material - a blueprint for the Antichrist's One World Religion and government. Presented also is the latest research proving the Authorized King James Version represents not only Christianity's earliest and most widely used Greek text but is the easiest version to read according to computer analysis-based formulas from the Flesch-Kincaid research firm. Each page opens a door exposing new version editors - in agreement with Luciferians, occultists, and New Age philosophy - in mental institutions, seance parlors, prison cells, and court rooms for heresy trials - and most shocking of all - denying that salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ. Five have lost their ability to speak.

When she spoke at the Prophecy Club in August 1996 I learned the KJV Bible has it’s own concordance. The first time a word appears in the KJV the word is defined. So this is the definition of “Justice” as the KJV puts it, this is the first time it appears in the KJV.

GEN 18:19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

Tonight, we fast and pray for America/Babylon to return to command our children and household to keep the way of the Lord.

More references concerning the escape

1Corinthians 10:13 but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.

The Red Sea was a way of escape. Noah’s ark was a way of escape from the flood. The rapture is a way of escape from the trial that is about to come on the whole earth. It isn't an escape from the cross of Christ, that is a misunderstanding. Every believer must take up their cross and follow the Lord. However, it gives the Lord a chance to put his seal of approval on some believers while rebuking others.

1Corinthians 11:26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

Until He comes refers to the Lord’s second coming. We proclaim His death refers to the preaching of righteousness, like Noah. Until He comes also refers to the Lord who has gone on a long journey. Also, eating the bread and drinking the wine proclaims His death is similar to the passover feast where they ate the Passover while the blood on the door proclaimed His death. God is meticulous when it comes to time, and to the calendar and to the feast days. Paul told us those feast days were a shadow of things to come, so they are prophetic. The only feast we are given to keep is the Lord’s table which is the New Covenant version of the Passover, the only difference is we do this “until He comes” back from a long journey!

1Corinthians 15: 12 But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

The rapture is equivalent to the resurrection of the dead. Once again, this points to the feast of Passover, or better yet the festival of firstfruits. If the Lord’s return at the end of the age is the harvest then shouldn’t it begin with the first fruits?

1Corinthians 15: 23 But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.

Luke 12:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only. 37 And as were the days of Noah, so shall be the coming of the Son of man. 38 For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, 39 and they knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall be the coming of the Son of man. 40 Then shall two men be in the field; one is taken, and one is left: 41 two women shall be grinding at the mill; one is taken, and one is left. 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not on what day your Lord cometh.

Couple of big things here. No one knows the day or hour and then likens that to Noah who is completely focused on this day, is preparing for this day, can see when the ark is ready, can see when the animals are on board, and then last of all he enters the ark and the door is closed. Not knowing the day or the hour does not mean we are oblivious and ignore the Lord’s coming and the day drawing near.

Second thing that is quite interesting is that people are working in the field. They wouldn’t be doing that on a holy day so it seems it isn’t on a holy day. However it seems stunning to me that such an important day would not be marked by a Holy day.

Third thing I would point out is that Noah entered the ark 7 days before the flood, that was certainly one of the "days of Noah". He did this because of a prophesy that when Methuselah died the judgement would come. No one knew the day or the hour that Methuselah would die, but they did know that when he died it was time to enter the ark. Therefore if no one knows the day and hour is like the days of Noah then I think it will be like that. We will be given a heads up.

One other thing, that word about one being taken and one left, the word left means divorced. The rapture is a judgement on the apostate church.

Luke 12: 39 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into. 40 You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

This verse refers to the Passover. The avenging angel was coming and was going to steal the first born of man and beast from every house. In the first Passover the Lord stood over the houses with the blood and guarded them from the avenging angel. But here it is a little different, in this case it is not the avenging angel who is coming but the Son of Man. Once again this is the Lord returning from His long journey. The word Passover is often thought of as being “to skip over” but in reality the root of the word is much closer to stand guard. In the first Passover God stood guard as we proclaimed the Lord’s blood and partook of Christ our Passover slain for us. In the Second passover it is our job to stand guard and make sure our house is not broken into as the Lord returns at an hour when you do not expect him.

Matthew 27:51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split 52 and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life.

At the time the first lamb was slain we had the resurrection of the holy people, this is a type of the rapture.

It seems that big earthquakes are associated with people rising from the dead and so the sixth seal in Revelation may refer to the rapture of the saints.

Another interesting point -- in the letter to the seven churches the Lord refers to His second coming in the last four letters. To Thyatira and Sardis he says some will be taken, not all and certainly not the majority (to Sardis He says you have a few). Philadelphia is taken as the entire church. So I am wondering, perhaps at the time of the first rapture the Lord’s people are in one of three different church situations (Thyatira, Sardis and Philadelphia), but after the rapture all those who are left are in only one church situation: Laodicea. To Laodicea He says He is outside knocking, He has left the church. It could be that “the light” in the church refers to all those who are taken in the first rapture, once they are taken the Lord is now outside and the lampstand is gone just like He warned Ephesus.

War & Digital Dollars 03/09/2023

Israel and Syria fighting with missiles hitting airport at Alepo

President Biden has declared a national emergency in the US related to war in Ukraine.

CBDC is rolling out a fiat currency with the full faith and credit of the illuminati. Let's just call them light bearer notes. Basically your benevolent overlord will decide if it is best for society if you live or die. One of the wonderful new features of these dollars is that they are "programmable". For example, suppose we want your dollars to be good at Walmart, and someone else's to be good at Macy's and someone else's to be able to eat at Morton's steak house, but yours to eat at McDonald's?

Think how useful this would have been during the Trucker protest in Canada. A few quick key strokes and those Truckers wouldn't have been able to buy gas long before they got to the capital, problem solved.

This will be good for your health. They can create smart cities by limiting how much gas you can buy. Soon you will be out walking and biking more and getting a whole new perspective on life.

Citigroup, HSBC, Mastercard, and Wells Fargo are all going along with it.

Sorcery -- is from the same Greek word that we get Pharmacy

There is a word in Scripture that brings to light the potions created by witches or sorcerers. This aspect of sorcery has great application to living our lives as Christians. It is seen in the Geek word, pharmakeia, (5) which is where we get the word, pharmaceuticals, or drugs. References to this word are found in the following verses:

And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. (Revelation 9:20-21)

And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy
sorceries were all nations deceived. (Revelation 18:23)

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and
sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Revelation 21:8)

Blessed are they that do his commandments that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. (Revelation 22:14-15)

There is an argument that vaccines have transformed our health but I think we should examine that. The biggest health risk today is obesity and yet it is the most profitable health condition for the drug companies. We have companies that help you lose weight, we have gyms that have proliferated in the last seventy years, and we have drugs to treat all the conditions like diabetes and heart disease. Watch a TV show from the 50s like Leave it to Beaver or Father Knows Best, or watch an old Jimmie Stewart movie and you are shocked at how thin everyone is. We had a significant change in our diet that was promoted as healthy by the FDA and next thing you know we have an epidemic in obesity and instead of going after the root cause they simply treat the symptoms.

A few years ago I had an ulcer and the doctor wanted to prescribe medicine. I asked how long will I need to take this and he said forever. I thought forget that, so I figured if I just gave my stomach a rest it could heal itself. So I would try to fast during the weekend. If the acid built up in my stomach I would just drink a lot of water to dilute it and wash it out of my stomach. After about two weeks the ulcer never bothered me again. I didn't just make this up, I read a book by Gandhi where he said that fasting like this could cure an ulcer. But if you prescribe this method no one makes any money. If you prescribe drugs that people take for the rest of their life then the drug company can make a very nice profit off of you. I am in my sixties and when I go to the doctor they always seem so surprised that I am not taking any medicine at all. It seems to me that a lot of people must be taking all kinds of medication. Is it healthy? Does it really improve health or is it simply profitable?

Children get shots for "childhood diseases". These are actually diseases that reside in flocks and herds of animals. Because we have cows, horses, pigs, sheep, and chickens we have these diseases. If you are exposed to them as a kid they don't harm you, but if you get them as an adult for the first time they can kill you. This is what happened to the native Americans. It is fair to look at the benefit of these shots but that should also be weighed against the cost. There is a financial cost, and there is a health cost as a small percentage of the population will have an adverse effect to the vaccine. Now if the vaccine only needs to be taken once and it has been proven to be effective it is very likely that the benefit will outweigh the cost. But suppose you have to get a booster shot after ten years. Now you have doubled the risk of an adverse effect, and yet the benefit may still outweigh the cost. But suppose as in the case of the Covid vaccine you need a booster every six months? Not only so but we cannot say that the vaccine has been proven safe because we have no idea of the long term consequences over 5-10 years. The evidence is becoming overwhelming that the vaccine has caused a huge increase in "unexpected" deaths. There is no question in my mind at this point that the risk is far greater than any ephemeral benefit there might be from the shot.

Luke 21:28 But when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads; because your redemption draweth nigh.

This is a concluding word to chapter 21 of Luke.

He continues with this word:

29 And he spake to them a parable: Behold the fig tree, and all the trees: 30 when they now shoot forth, ye see it and know of your own selves that the summer is now nigh. 31 Even so ye also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh. 32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all things be accomplished. 33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

The fig tree is a national symbol for Israel. In 1948 the UN voted for Israel to be restored as a nation and in a single day the nation of Israel came back into existence after almost 2,000 years of diaspora. That was a major fulfillment of prophecy as Ezekiel had described seeing a valley of dry bones (a picture that we all saw of the Holocaust after WWII) and was asked if they could live again.

However, Jesus didn't just say the fig tree but "all the trees". Egypt got independence in 1922, also Turkey declared itself a republic and in 1923 they were cut off from all their holdings as the Ottoman Empire. Saudi Arabia and Iraq gain independence in 1932, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria get independence in 1946, Libya gains independence in 1951, Yemen gains independence in 1967 and the UAE gains independence in 1971.

The Lord told us this event tells us that "summer is near" a reference to the harvest time at the end of the age.

He then tells us "this generation shall not pass away, till all things be accomplished". Now this has several interpretations and we will take a look at several.

1. Psalm 91 says a generation is 70-80 years. We'll go into greater detail on this word in a future post, but for right now let's consider this as the time frame. May 1948 -- May 2029 gives you a time range, after that it would be 81 years. The context of "all things accomplished" is Luke 21 and the last thing that is mentioned in that chapter prior to this word is 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

So this does not include Armageddon or the judgement seat.

2. However, some say this applies to the generation that was there at the time of Jesus speaking. There is a basis for this, and sure enough in 70AD the temple was destroyed as Jesus said without a stone being left upon a stone. An astounding prophecy in 30AD but the Jews had 40 years to repent for killing Jesus, after that the judgement came.

And it also refers to this word to the apostles who were there:

12 But before all these things, they shall lay their hands on you, and shall persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for my name’s sake. 13 It shall turn out unto you for a testimony. 14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate beforehand how to answer: 15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to withstand or to gainsay. 16 But ye shall be delivered up even by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolk, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.

The Temple Mount

Luke 21:5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and offerings, he said, 6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in which there shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Too many do not appreciate how astounding this prophecy is. The Temple mount was stunning, it was gorgeous, it was magnificent and Jesus says "not one stone will be left upon another". The smallest stones weighed 2-5 tons and the largest stone probably weighed about 570 tons. This is not soldiers looting out of control, this was a concerted effort to rip apart and throw down each and every stone. This demonstrates how angry God was. He gave them 40 years to repent and they didn't. He gave them the ministry of the apostles and they killed them.

You need to look at Jesus track record, amazing prophecies fulfilled in His generation as He said. When you see that it will encourage you to believe the prophecies that have yet been fulfilled.

When shall these things be?

7 And they asked him, saying, Teacher, when therefore shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when these things are about to come to pass? 8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not led astray: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am he; and, The time is at hand: go ye not after them.

Before Jesus even begins to give the signs He first gives a warning. This warning is very telling.

1. Many shall come in my Name -- they are pretending to be Christians. Just because someone comes in the name of Jesus Christ does not in any way mean they are not a false prophet or teacher.

2. Do not be led astray -- If someone is a false teacher or prophet they will lead you astray. There is a narrow path that leads to life and they will steer you onto the broad way that leads to destruction. The New Testament is filled with these warnings. Galatians talks about false brothers who sneak into the church to figure out how to bring us into bondage. Jude talks about them being lascivious and fleshly. Peter gives a detailed description that they will use fabricated stories to make merchandise of you. Jesus talks about knowing a tree from its fruit. The seven letters to the churches in Revelation are filled with warnings about Balaam and Jezebel and the synagogue of Satan. The only way you will not be led astray is if you are grounded in the word of God. That means you need to embrace the entire counsel of God. One way they lead people astray is to keep certain Bible verses away from the congregation. Some churches do not talk about prophecy even though that is 25% of the Bible. Others avoid the book of Revelation.

3. Saying I am he -- This is a big tell. John the Baptist said he wasn't anyone. Paul means small, and he said he was "less than the least of all saints". These phony teachers always have a story about how they are someone significant or that was prophesied of, or something like that.

4. The time is at hand -- Obviously at some point the time will be at hand. The Lord concludes this chapter saying when you see all these things begin to take place look up for your redemption draws nigh. So the real question is why are they saying the time is at hand? Is it because of Haley's comet? There is no prophecy in the Bible saying that would be the sign. This chapter is answering the question what is the sign of your coming, the Lord gives us the signs, but these ones will use all kinds of non Biblical reasons and they will take advantage of those who are not well grounded in the word.

5. Go ye not after them -- This is a big tell. Cults always, always require you to "go after them". Why? In the Bible we are disciples of Jesus Christ, the Bible is the more sure word of prophecy, and the New Testament is the fellowship of the apostles. If someone can minister light and life from the word that is fine. But there is no reason we need to "go after them". Paul condemned that in 1 Corinthians when he said that some say they are of Paul and some of Apollos, etc. The Lord will not require you to buy their books, go to their conferences, or support their ministry. The Lord may lead you to support a ministry, but you can be sure it will always be a free will offering and never some kind of requirement.

Yes, I have heard this 20-30 prophecy, 20 pieces of silver for Joseph and 30 pieces of silver for Jesus. I think God a Minute shared this and Dr. Barry Awe might have also shared it.

When you shall hear of wars and tumults

Luke 21:9 And when ye shall hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified: for these things must needs come to pass first; but the end is not immediately.

Let us consider this prior to 1900. There is no such thing as radio, or TV, or telecommunications. If you heard in America that Russia was fighting in Ukraine, the news would be months old and you certainly wouldn't be terrified from it. A war in Vietnam, again, wouldn't terrify you. Same thing with Iraq or Afghanistan. Before TV and Radio our "rumors" of war were really minimal. It is really since WWII and the creation of the CIA along with radio and TV that a constant news about wars and rumors of war have been frightening. Think about the Cuban missile crisis. It really wasn't until nuclear bombs and ICBM's that we began to be "terrified" about whatever Russia or China or Iran or North Korea was doing.

The Lord said that the gospel would go out into the whole world, everywhere. So then it has really only been during this post WWII generation, the boomers, that people have become terrified by rumors of war. It is only recently that we have a doomsday clock (1947).

Also we have had regional wars before but it was really only since WWI that we had wars that involved the whole world. In the 1800s we (those in America) didn't really care if Russia or China or Afghanistan was in a war. The situation is very different today. We care about imports, exports, whether or not Finland is using fertilizer or whether or not Ukraine will be exporting wheat.

My point is this prophecy made sense at Jesus time for people living in Israel, but it makes much more sense today for people living anywhere in the world.

10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom;

Absolutely true, many, many wars over the last two thousand years. It is very hard to count them all and like Jesus said, some you might classify as "tumults" rather than wars.

11 and there shall be great earthquakes, and in divers places

You might think I was stretching when talking about people not being terrified of wars in far off lands until just recently. But this prophecy here can only be fulfilled today. At the time of Jesus if they didn't feel the earthquake they pretty much didn't know about it. Perhaps if it was really terrible like the Tsunami in Indonesia you might hear about it a few months later. But ever since WWII we have had seismometers that can tell us when and where there was an earthquake anywhere on Earth. We can hear immediately about a big earthquake in Turkey and with telecommunications we can see images instantly of what is going on. Today we can hear daily about a 5.5 earthquake in the middle of the ocean, or a 6.5 earthquake on another continent. That was unheard of 100 years ago. Unless it was a devastating earthquake and then it would show up in the newspaper a day or two later. If you pick up a small town newspaper from 100 years ago it will be talking about a new post office, or something happening at the local church. It was focused on local news and the weather. No one was terrified about wars or rumors of war unless it was the Civil war, and no one knew about earthquakes in divers places, much less terrified of them.

7 Verses which Kill Pretrib Rapture 03/10/2023

https://rumble.com/v2cgysc-7-verses-which-kill-pretrib-rapture-03102023.html

1st he defines the "Pre trib" teaching -- Before the seals, trumpets and bowls hit descrbed in Revelation Jesus will rapture the saints away. Before trouble hits.

[That is not my understanding, so if anyone thinks we will be raptured before the first seal is opened, I think that was inferred but never openly stated anywhere in the Bible].

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; 17 then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

[He says this is the critical verse that Pre Tribbers use. However, this is not a verse I would use because of the term "then we that are alive, that are left" indicates that some are not left. It isn't logical to say this is because some have already been beheaded because that is what "we that are alive" is referring to. So he is referring to a teaching that I have never heard before.]

51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

[Once again this is not a verse that I or others use for pre trib rapture because it says "we shall all be changed".]

He refers to some verses about Shavuot which he calls Pentecost, I did not follow what he was sharing. But I would respond this way -- Shavuot took place almost immediately after Passover, two months later, just as they entered the wilderness. During this time we see that a select few do go to the top of the mountain, Moses and Joshua, while Aaron and the nation stay below and we see the apostate church embrace idolatry. Moses comes back down and the Levites rise up to put all the Moloch and Baal worshippers to death and so become the tribe of the priesthood. This is what will take place at the first rapture. Those who are left behind will have to drink the water that has the idol ground up in it and those who were guilty of adultery towards God will swell up. This is the time when the apostasy will be judged and all the false brethren who have snuck in will be exposed. We also see that two of the twelve spies were faithful to God while ten out of twelve gave an evil report. God deals with these ones for forty years as they are strewn about the wilderness, that is a type of the "left behind" saints during the tribulation.

14 And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on the mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty and four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and the voice which I heard was as the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3 and they sing as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders: and no man could learn the song save the hundred and forty and four thousand, even they that had been purchased out of the earth. 4 These are they that were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they that follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were purchased from among men, to be the
first-fruits unto God and unto the Lamb. 5 And in their mouth was found no lie: they are without blemish.

He has not touched on a single verse that I and others use to support what we refer to as a "pre trib" rapture though I think a much better term would be a "pre 70th week" rapture. Jacob's trouble is ten days, the seventieth week is 7 days. There is a 3 year period prior to the start of the 70th week which might be considered "tribulation" especially since the first six seals are opened by the end of this period. I understand that the opening of the sixth seal is what is called the "pre trib" rapture and it is the end of the times of the Gentiles and the beginning of the 70th week from Daniel.

So his reference to the first fruits was what I was always taught was fulfilled at the time of the Lord's resurrection. However, if that is incorrect then it is still clearly a reference to the Jews and the 70th week.

I would also point out that this term "tribulation" is a reference to a sickle used to harvest. When you say the "tribulation" has begun you are saying the harvesting of the crops has begun.

This is the key point to me, none of us is the arbiter of truth. I would think that everyone of us is in error on some point, no one has a perfect understanding, as Paul said we see through a glass darkly. This brother is focused on the word of God and gives us a new and different perspective. This blog is not about pushing one interpretation, but rather about gathering all the Bible based interpretations that shed light on the word.

I agree with Stan that "first fruits" is the key. If there are Jewish "first fruits" then there should also be Gentile first fruits. This term does not only apply to Barley as an early crop, but some wheat will ripen before others, some grapes, some figs, every harvest has first fruits. That is the point of the "Pre Trib" rapture as I was taught, which I think should be called the "Pre 70th week rapture". Those are the first fruits. They are not the general harvest and they are not the gleanings.

What about Jesus?

Job 14:12 So man lieth down and riseth not:
Till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake,
Nor be roused out of their sleep.

13 Oh that thou wouldest hide me in Sheol,
That thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past,
That thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!
14 If a man die, shall he live again?
All the days of my warfare would I wait,
Till my release should come.

He uses these verses to support the claim that no one is raised out of the grave until after God pours out His wrath on the earth, which would be after the great tribulation.

Job predates Abraham. This is not a reference to Jews or Gentile believers, it is a reference to unbelievers.

You have to ask yourself, if this is what Stan thinks refers to Christians then what exactly is the gospel? What is our blessed hope?

This says that man lies down and shall be no more and they shall not awake till the heavens be no more. Really, what about the Son of Man? What about Jesus? What about the Body of Christ? What about all those who have believed in Him?

I'm on My way 2-27-23@8:27am (Uploaded 3-10-23)

I'm on my way, my Bride. Look to the East, I am coming! Father says its time! Have you made yourself ready?

When you arrive before Father and you are presented to Him we will dance.

Many in my church are half clad or are wearing dirty or spotted attire. I warned you if you are found unprepared I will leave you behind. You must live a holy life.

If you hold bitterness or unforgiveness in your heart this is sin. Doubt is sin. Hate is sin.

It is homecoming time in heaven! Your home!

From Jesus, your beloved groom to be.

When you shall hear of wars and tumults

Luke 21:9 And when ye shall hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified: for these things must needs come to pass first; but the end is not immediately..
Why must these things needs come to pass?

There is a law that whatever you sow you shall reap, and God is not mocked. It is necessary that we see what the outcome is of everyone who has rejected Jesus and tried to rule the world themselves, though they are being manipulated by Satan. You don't convict a man of murder because "if you had continued on the path you were on it would have resulted in murder". This is not "Minority Report".

Why do we see wars? James answers that question. What about plagues and famines? The Old Testament is very clear about why we see those.

What is so clear is that a thousand years ago we thought we saw plagues because man didn't know better (Genghis Khan actually tossed dead, infected bodies over the walls of the cities he was attacking, so he was using it as a bioweapon). The real reason is because they rejected the word of God. Today the pandemic was a bioweapon, made in a lab and designed to kill people on purpose, not accidentally or due to our ignorance.

Likewise with famine. We think famine is due to the vagaries of the weather, but the reality is this famine is man made. They are stopping the use of fertilizer, cutting off the raw materials for fertilizer, stopping the export of grain, destroying food processing plants, and killing flocks and herds to create a man made famine.

What you are seeing is the destination of sin. The Bible says the wages of sin is death. Well, it is payday.

Before all these things

Luke 21:12 But before all these things, they shall lay their hands on you, and shall persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for my name’s sake. 17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake. 18 And not a hair of your head shall perish. 19 In your patience ye shall win your souls.

Before all what things? Before we have world wars, before we have seismometers that can monitor earthquakes in diverse places, before we can make bioweapons in bioweapons labs, before we have terrorist acts like 911 or terrifying events like Chernobyl. Before we have radio, TV and telecommunications.

They shall lay their hands on you. On who? This certainly refers to the disciples and apostles who were there on the mountain with Jesus. This is a direct reference to the Apostolic age that goes all the way to Pergamos where Antipas was martyred. Smyrna is a a church that was delivered up.

This chapter answers the question "when will these things happen" by not just giving us the signs at the end of the age but a review of the entire church age.
