What is also happening. The mobile home park I live in, the owners are raising the rent and adding on fees to the rent. If they want to do an upgrade to the park, they will add it to the rent. We don't own the park, but we will be charged for any upgrades the owners want to do. People are getting priced out of their homes. A friend told me I should form a group, get a lawyer to look into this. I got a feeling from the LORD to stay out of this, he would handle it. A week later I get a brochure from the city. They are looking into stabilizing rents in mobile home parks. Someone is putting pressure on the owners now.

I've been trying for years to quality for a reduction on my electric bill. Nothing has happened. Today the electric company sent me a letter to say I qualify and my electric bill would get a 30% cut. I see GOD's hand in this, cutting my cost.
You ever hear the expression "dry begging?" It's when someone doesn't come right out with it, but all they do is talk about their financial woes, hoping someone will have pity on them and give them something. It's begging without begging. I have more respect for people who just go out on the street and fly a sign; or set up a GoFundMe account.

No, not what I think. I showed you scripture about how Jesus wants us to pray from the book of Matthew, and from what Paul wrote in Philippians. Did you not read those verses at all??? We're living in New Testament times, no longer in the Old Testament times.

If you read the verses I posted, they're to let you know that you don't have to worry that God might overlook you. Jesus said that you have more worth than the birds of the air and that God will provide for all your needs. You don't need to work yourself up to become frustrated and scream at God to get what you want in other words.

Paul also wrote that you should be grateful and give thanks when approaching God with your requests.

And most of all, Jesus said to seek His kingdom and righteousness first and then all of your needs will be taken care of by the Lord. You never have to waste energy screaming at or to God for anything if you put Him first.

So these aren't my "ways" - these are God's. That's all.

-=<*>=-

I know you're just going to ignore all this anyway and will post your pat answers, so I'm aiming those verses to comfort and encourage other people instead.
Somehow you missed the parable of the widow and hard hearted judge.

You haven't been reading my post. I've been working and trying to save. Each time my savings got wiped out by unexpected events ot helping a family member. I cried out to the lORD over this and some Christians don't like the way GOD answered my prayers.

Jesus Heals Bartimaeus
…When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Many people admonished him to be silent, but he cried out all the louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” ...Mark 10:48

A linguistics teacher said that a more accurate translation of "love the lord with all your might" is to love the lord with all your "muchness" and I have much more whining crying muchness than I do gracefully suffering muchness.
It helps me to get through, though, remembering that we'll inherit the earth, perhaps as soon as we have learned to do better with it.

I've read you post, and all your posts where you drone on and on about your sad financial state and your anger at God for not giving you a woman. Yeah, I've read 'em.

Do you really enjoy being poor and just getting by? Now I am able to help others. Sad you cannot rejoice in that.

So blind Bartimaeus was wrong for crying out to Jesus?

LOL, there have been plenty of times when I barely had enough to scrape by. Ya know what I did? I rejoiced and thanked God for all the other ways in which He had blessed me. What I didn't do was go around whining and complaining to anyone who would listen.

I'm actually happy you're more financially secure; now maybe you'll quit whining.

Interesting I don't hear blind Bartimaeus rejoicing in being blind.

Lets try this one more time.....
Psalm 142:1-7
I cried unto the LORD with my voice; With my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication. I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble. When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path.
Here's the thing: there's a BIG difference between "crying to the lord" & "screaming at God" One is calling out to God in personal anguish with a need, while screaming at God sounds accusatory & blaming God for your problems. A great lack of disrespect for the Lord who deserves absolute reverance.

Once again, some Christians want to play down anyone's cries to the LORD for help. Everything you have is from the LORD, so YES GOD was holding back blessings in my life. Those blessings are now happening. He heard my screams for help and delivered. This wasn't just a recent things, this is going through YEARS of starting a savings and having it wiped out. I think I understand why it took years. I was my mother's caregiver for 7 years. My siblings did almost nothing to help out. When she passed away, I took in 2 of my siblings, until they got their Social Security and pensions. They were getting much more than me. Once they had their money, they refused to help me. (One brother did not want to pay his share of the rent or even work, my sister wasted her money and then wanted me to lower her rent to make up for what she wasted) knowing I was in need they wasted the blessings GOD gave them. It wasn't until GOD blessed a friend I had met over 20 years ago, that the friend saw what I was going through and helped me. Sometimes blessings don't come until GOD works in other people's lives and giving others the time to help. which they never did.

There are times GOD's blessings are on hold until certain people or events are in place. Look at Joseph. He was taken to Egypt by force, because of the events of Potiphar's wife which landed him in prison. In prison he met the wine taster and baker and interpreted their dreams. It took 2 years for Pharaoh to have the dream and for the wine taster to remember Joseph. Each person and event had to happen first, before Joseph was blessed.

“THEREFORE I WILL NOT KEEP SILENT; I WILL SPEAK OUT IN THE ANGUISH OF MY SPIRIT, I WILL COMPLAIN IN THE BITTERNESS OF MY SOUL.” JOB 7:11 (NIV)

Clearly Job does not agree with you.

Brother John, thanks so much for the Lord (1 Thess 5:18) It matters not how one gets the Lord's attention, the point is you got it!!! The Spirit of the Lord is most strong on me as I write, a fine example of the disciples doing the same thing is found in (Matt 8:25!!) Sometimes I have found the Lord will allow us to get into a jam, why??perhaps he desires your attention. You got his point, and he got yours!! lol. what matters is the result, I am so glad for you brother!!
