First thought: I'm too tired

I then turned off the snooze and tried to fall asleep but then second thought hit me: I can't miss church, I want to worship and fellowship.

Then I got up.

*Hears a Kutless' version of Take Me In and my alarm clock bringing me into consciousness*

Huh... It's 8 O'clock.

*turns off alarm*

I'll just hug my pillow for a few more minutes.

*Wakes up 2 hours late for work*

Jeez. Well, atleast I know I have time to make coffee, and for a shower.

And now, here I am pulling over time for the missed hours. I hope my bosses know I'm trying my best to make up for the times I missed.

*turns over to look at the clock*

8... Do I want to hug my pillow? I think I will.

Twenty minutes later, I woke up. I had time to wash my face and walk out to the office. Thank you, Lord for providing mercy on me. :D

Thank you, El. ^_^

Alarm clock went off once I got up and hit the snooze button. But I didn't go back to bed this morning.

Coffee... No, actual nightmare this time. Thank You.

Before I sleep, I tend to pray while I try to sleep. The enemy discourages me with dreams that tend to scare me once I wake. Today was different though. :D

I woke up early today...and right now I cant remember my first thought...oops!...I know I woke up too early though...so that could have been my first thought... "Why did I wake up now?'' ..lol...Can I say my first thought I had after the nap in the afternoon instead? hehe.. I actually woke up because of my friends call...so as soon as I opened my eyes I was like: "Huh? What?... *answers the phone*..'' So yeah pretty much that... lol

It's a brand new day! The sun is shinning again! You just stopped your alarm clock...What's your very first thought?? This thread is dedicated to your first thoughts when you wake up!
It's taken me 60(+) years to get to this point, but I can honestly say that, most mornings, my first thought is what God has in store for me in reading my daily devotional and the Bible.

Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep ect ect ect...

Already?

Beep beep beep beep beep beep...

I'm too tired. Theres no water for coffee. There's no real coffee. Only that instant stuff. I wish there was water in the water tank.

*Gets up and closes eyes*

Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to see this day. I'm not worthy enough to live another day. Who am I to ask for strength? But thank you, anyway...

*turns off alarm clock*

Beep beep beep beep beep...

The demonic tone of the digital alarm clock dragged me into a conscious state.

Beep beep beep beep beep...

I turn to see what the hour and minute was set too. But I couldn't. After seeing how it was positioned, I clearly remembered that I set it up side down. Just so, I could hear the alarm speaker that is located underneath the blasted contraption. I got up off of my two old mattresses and picked up the clock.

7:50

I could use this time to make coffee. It's been done before. And then I could lie back down again. I'm tired...

I hit the snooze button and risked the extra ten miuntes.

Beep beep beep beep beep...

As I got up, I picked the alarm clock into my brown little hands. It indicated that it was: 8:05 I had lost an extra five minutes.

*Sigh*
Not even a full hour into my day, and already I'm messing it up. I should've been in the shower by now, and my black mug would've been waiting on the table, cooling itself. Ugh... Too lazy to do anything.

I flipped that little back switch on the side to shut off the alarm.

Beep beep be-

I closed my eyes for a short prayer.

Lord, thank you for this day. Thank you for allowing me to wake. I know I don't deserve any of this. But you lovingly gave it. I pray that you give me some strength to handle this morning.

And like an unwanted demon, coffee popped into my mind. So, I dragged myself into the kitchen, ect ect ect...

It went something like that. :p
