I have long hair to honor God - that's my personal take. And the Lord has answered my prayers whether my hair was long or not (I had a really bad haircut one time :)), veiled or not (never used any other type of head covering other than my hair). So I don't think these verses are really about head covering of hair vs veils but about revering the Lord properly in our positions and identity as men and women.

Anyway, I'm fine with whatever people get from these verses. It's just not something I want to argue about is all.

I just wonder why the OP posted this thread to begin with since he's a man. Is he posting it to genuinely call all women to cover their heads with veils or is there another reason? He doesn't post often from what I've seen, but I hope he replies soon.

Yeah, but your avatar is still Mohammadian at the battle of Hattem. Are you Koranic in real life, just wondering. I honor my own racial and national heritage too, after all.

They also wore corsets and could hardly breath.
I'm all for doing things that honor God, but outward displays without inward reality is meaningless. God is either present and inhabiting the prayers and worship of His people or He is not. Spiritual people will know.
Do you really think any of us can actually pray and worship God? He is holy and infinite. We are finite and sinful. How do limited, polluted people even begin to relate to Him apart from His divine aid? Better to concern ourselves with hearts than hats.
Men who yammer on about women like the OP has are hypocrites when they do not
dress the way men did 2,000 year ago. Long robes, head coverings, sandals, etc.

Men also wore tunics back then. Are you wearing your tunic, Cameron? .;):giggle:

And when Peter saw it he addressed the people: “Men of Israel, why do you wonder at this, or why do you stare at us, as though by our own power or piety we have made him walk?

The above verse is from Act 3:21, ESV, and
this applies to a lot of issues...
I knew I should have gone with Flavius.
Even just Plubius, perhaps...just, well.... anything but Publius!
...but I knew you're piety would provide room for such a pinch:LOL::love:

Either yell really loud or get a dinner siren. BTW, why are order cooks all short?
It seems that kitchen utensil housings were all set up for Nephilim cooks, so it makes order cooks look really short. Phssh, nobody cooks Nephilim anymore.

Aging is not for the faint of heart... .:whistle::giggle:
There I have been most fortunate. I rarely get sick and despite my best efforts, I have remained mostly injury free. I still can stomp...I mean, beat my kids in 4-square and most other physical endeavors. It helps when you can claim lapses when you change the rules.
