i have my personal favorites, but i wouldn't say they've influenced my faith so much as confirmed what i believe. the ones i listen to and read the most have shaped, filled in, and highlighted many details.
i don't necessarily affirm everything each of them believes.

How can we debate if you have no controversial beliefs

… unless some of MY beliefs are controversial.
that's a good question.
you could ask why i believe your beliefs are controversial.

there's no debating. this is about me.

What Bible translation do you read the most?
i used to read only KJV, but now i primarily use ESV.
i've researched most modern translations, i have no problem using any of them if i feel like it.

;) glad you heard my little 'ahem' from a distance! you had about another 3 seconds left to add me.. *brat* :p yah i'm on holidays, nice to see a blue sky for once, hope it's great where you are. I beeped once at the airport; thankfully they didn't ask me to remove the shirt that was decorated with metal thread.
What exactly does 'reformed' mean?

I think people should repent of their sin.

My dad took me to Canada when I was a boy, to go fishing north of Minnesota. Your trees were shorter than our Iowa trees.

Reformed is a broad term to describe one who holds to the the 5 Solas of the Reformation.

Sola Scriptura - Scripture Alone
Solus Christus - Christ Alone
Sola Gratia - Grace Alone
Sola Fide - Faith Alone
Soli Deo Gloria - The Glory of God Alone

Unwarranted confidence in human ability is a product of fallen human nature ... God's grace in Christ is not merely necessary but is the sole efficient cause of salvation. We confess that human beings are born spiritually dead and are incapable even of cooperating with regenerating grace. We reaffirm that in salvation we are rescued from God's wrath by his grace alone. It is the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit that brings us to Christ by releasing us from our bondage to sin and raising us from spiritual death to spiritual life. We deny that salvation is in any sense a human work. Human methods, techniques or strategies by themselves cannot accomplish this transformation. Faith is not produced by our unregenerated human nature. - Cambridge Declaration

but many use the term.
i get more specific as i go.

but no one has asked about those things yet:D

enjoy your holiday sis.
love you.

What does the bible say about lipgloss?
the Bible is silent about many things.

we can fairly assume that if the lipgloss is not bright red or purple (colors harlots wore and wear) it's supercool.

i like peach (flavored kind):D << santo...notice i dropped the "u" in flavour for u.

KEEP 'EM COMIN' GUYS. THIS IS GOOD.

I like that, thanks :) And I'm currently cooling off in the room. Nice to have the laptop. So if you say 'sola scriptura' you aren't discrediting a good book with some solid teachings? And by that I don't mean such books as the 'purpose drivel books'...

absolutely not!

a discerning christian can read anything.
we can glean what's true, if we're searching for truth.
we can read for pleasure, and we can read to see what aberrent teachers say (i've read the Drivel books...pure drivel. but now i am INFORMED)

zone, keep the canadian flavours where they belong :p.. we need to take pride in our abc's.

I'm curious about the star called wormwood, do you think it's an actual 'star'? or could it be some sort of 'chernobyl' recurrence, but much worse.. are you still drinking tap water, zone? or is bottled water safer for us?
