I'll be the first to admit that I struggle with self at times and I'm also very adept at seeing it in others. I guess the old saying is true; "it takes one to know one".

Anyways... time to go about my merry way.
don't compare you to me.
we have nothing in common.
bye.

I've got a legitimate question for Zone. While I doubt I'll get an answer, if Zone were to answer, I want an honest one. Here goes:

If you could get away with it, would you stone, decaptitate or burn at the stake all those you believe to be heretics and / or apostate like your fellow Calvinistic predocessors did through out centuries past?
Here we go, this guy and distinctive (self styled) ministry attempting to derail someone else's thread.

Same old song, second verse.

thanks zone, i'll check it out.
not a fan of billy huh? may i ask why? i was 10 when i got saved and it was at the euro 70 evang. meetings he was holding in germany. :)
btw, not at an all-inclusive here, so no pool drinks... but i'd love to share a mocha with u sometime (like the one you offered Nalu) hehe
billy was okay early on.
but crusades and revivals rarely go the way they hope: emotionalism and trips down the sawdust trail to the altar rarely produce lasting fruit.

he had his helpers write down people who had "made a decision for Jesus", then sent them back to their congregations - Catholic, Mormon, etc.

and he was a 33rd degree mason.

but God can use anyone when the real Gospel is spoken. i have no doubt many indeed heeded the call and continued on to receive saving faith.

in the end he denied Jesus was the only way to Heaven.

i did not know he was a 33mason, shocking...
anyways, i do remember him preaching sin and repentence...and the cross. that is how I remember him. he never sugar coated. i did feel very brave tho walking down that looooooooong stairway to the front and enjoyed the prayer time and the new bible i received in the mail. big thing for a shy little girl back then!
zone how often do you read the bible and do you have a 'pattern' (or system) in which you study it?

While Christians are having marches and parades to support the headquarters of the New World Order
Financing the very courts they will be tried in and the guillotines and plastic caskets they will lie in.

And to hear them say with glee in marches and nationwide rallies we can nuke 5 nations for the jews,
when most of the true jews dont even want to'be identified with Israel. A nearly blind church, with
nothing holy at all, just self pleasing prosperity, and fighting for the best seat with nametags.

Do you think this is a discription of the Leodicean church, the apathetic lukewarn poor blind miserable and
naked church? While they conduct business. Jesus is outside knocking.

If so do you think that its the socalled spirituals, and love for demonology, and position, that has caused
this . And the more it fights for a early church revival with lieing signs and wonders predicted, the more
pretending needs done and the less it has of the True work Of the Holyspirit?

Rev.3 shows Jesus outside knocking, offering eyesalve. This is not a picture of revival.
Can you comment on what you think will open peoples eyes, what is the eyesalve?
I know He works all things after the council of His own will.

NOT A ONE from the clan.
and we are MANY here (7 generations).
they think i'm nuts (glad i have a "crutch" though:rolleyes:)

exceptions:
my sister....it took 3 years of persisting. one day she got fed up and said OKAY!!!!!

"i'm getting us a cabin on the beach for two nights. bring your bibles. if you can't convince me I AM SICK TO DEATH OF THIS AND NEVER WANT TO HEAR IT AGAIN."

...............................

after 11 hours of preaching and showing, she went into the bathroom and slumped to the floor and i heard sobbing.

i went on the balcony and cried and gave thanks.

she came out a while later and IMMEDIATELY called all her friends "I BELIEVE IN JESUS!" (most hung up).

daughter is working it quietly, and The Lord is responding in kind: answered prayers (about silly things, proving he is listening...she tells me later).

my son believes (strong bull in faith): he said...not because of what you have said for years, but because i have SEEN for myself what Jesus has done in your life":D and now I BELIEVE....and i know Him too.

John 4:42
They said to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is indeed the Savior of the world.”
