You'll be in a real sorry fearful state when a secret "pre-tribulation advent and rapture" doesn't occur! Matt 24v29-31,48-51.
"Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." (Luke 6v47,48)
"But if that evil servant says in his heart, 'My master is delaying his coming,' and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
In Matt 24v48-51 the Lord Jesus shows us the result of believing a secret pre-tribulation advent and rapture: when He doesn't come before the great tribulation, the believer who believes the lie of a secret pre-tribulation advent and rapture will become overwhelmed backslide and go into apostasy! Luke 6v46,49.

Well the fact of the matter is that Matthew 24 -- the Olivet Discourse -- actually speaks of a Pre-Tribulation Rapture. And Matthew 25 confirms it.
THE RAPTURE OF THE BRIDE WILL BE UNANNOUNCED AND UNEXPECTED
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come...Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh... Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. (Mt 24:42,44; 25:13)
Matthew 25 specifically speaks about Christ the divine Bridegroom coming for His Bride. The Bride is the Church but "the Church" is not mentioned since the parable was about the readiness of "the virgins" (symbolic of the Church). Now does anyone in their right mind believe that the Bridegroom would be coming in the middle of divine judgments (the Tribulation) to take His Bride to Heaven? That would be absurd.
