why did he have a huge barley harvest while everyone else was dying of starvation? I dont quite understand that. Moab wasnt that far away?
 
Children who already know Jesus might understand but most do not

because you taught them from little, most kids dont know anything from the Bible cos their parents never read it with them or to them...they had to figure it out themselves
 
Most men are not like Boaz though they dont marry their employees or volunteer workers
 
They might have affairs with them as surely those on slave plantations did but they didnt marry them
 
Most men would not be as upright as Boaz was in that situation
 
hmm well are you going to aaliyah back to Israel then? The land has significance to the chosen ones who belong to the Holy Land.

I think Book of Ruth shows that God was willing to give her His homeland even when she was an outsider. For many people they read it as an immigrant story as well as a love story.
 
You keep confusing Boaz with Jesus though.
Jesus didnt marry anyone on earth, he didnt marry the woman at the well for example. even when she talked to him when she wasnt supposed to. She figured out he was the Messiah though

It's first and foremost a story of redemption. And there is nothing wrong with enjoying all the beautiful aspects of the story. But it's not a fairytale, though it has a fairytale ending. Enjoy the love story. Enjoy the cultural aspects. But all those pale to the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ruth then managed the fields and it became the number one producer of Barley sugars and ovaltine and other barley related goods right? She sent over for sister Orpah to come share in her abundance and babysit little Obed.

Jesus cousin John the Baptist was like his best man but he got beheaded....Jesus didnt really date or court anyone though he had many female admirers...
