That's the problem with rabbis and midrashim: embellishment of the Scriptural narrative. Many do
it, such as those who claim the angels leaving their first estate means they had sex with women.

Then they will quote Enoch and treat it as Scripture when historically it was not considered inspired.
It was also about these that Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied, saying, “See, the Lord is coming with ten thousands of his holy ones,
to execute judgment on all, and to convict everyone of all the deeds of ungodliness that they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”
Jude 1:14–15

It may not be Inspired but here is Jesus quoting Enoch:

Below are some of Jesus’ quotes from the New Testament and their linkages to the book of Enoch.

  1. (John 14:2): In my Father’s house are many mansions.
(Enoch 45:3): In that day shall the Elect One sit upon a throne of glory, and shall choose their conditions and countless habitations.
  2. (John 12:36): That ye may be called the children of light.
(Enoch 108:11 {105: 25}): The good from the generation of light.
  3. (John 4:14): The water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
(Enoch 48:1 {48:1}): All the thirsty drank, and were filled with wisdom, having their habitation with the righteous, the elect, and the holy.
  4. (Mat 5:5): Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. (Mat 5:5)
(Enoch 5:7 {6:9}): The elect shall possess light, joy, and peace, and they shall inherit the earth.
  5. (John 5:22): The Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the son.
(Enoch 69:27 {68:39}): The principal part of the judgment was assigned to him, the Son of man.
  6. (Mat. 19:29): Those shall inherit everlasting life.
(Enoch 40:9 {40:9}): Who will inherit eternal life.
  7. (Luke 6:24): “Wo unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.
(Enoch 94:8 {93:7}): Woe to you who are rich, for in your riches have you trusted; but from your riches, you shall be removed.
  8. (Matt. 19:28): Ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
(Enoch 108:12 {105:26}): I will place each of them on a throne of glory.
  9. (Mat. 26:24): Woe unto that man through whom the Son of man is betrayed! It had been good for that man if he had not been born.
(Enoch 38:2 {38:2}): Where will the habitation of sinners be . . . who has rejected the Lord of spirits? It would have been better for them, had they never been born.
  10. (Luke 16:26): Between us and you, there is a great gulf fixed.
    (Enoch 22: 9,11{22:10,12}): By a chasm . . . [are] their souls are separated.

This here is pretty spot on comparison side by side:
  1. (John 5:22): The Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the son.
(Enoch 69:27 {68:39}): The principal part of the judgment was assigned to him, the Son of man.

You call that Jesus quoting Enoch???????????? ,:censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::eek:(n)(n)(n)

At any rate, Judaism was a culture steeped in oral traditions. Quoting Enoch does not necessarily
mean the book. Of course those who like to pretend Enoch is inspired will claim otherwise.

Since when do "men of high estate" produce giants?

There was no first wife name Lilith.
It's from the 9th century book "pirke de-rabbi Eliezer and the Zohar"(Serpent seed theology)....

Enoch was a Popular Oral Tradition between Temple number One and Temple number Two. It's why it was being Quoted by Jesus, Luke, Paul, Peter, Jude, even is in the Book of Hebrews.

Jesus, Paul, Luke, Jude, and Peter quoting the man Enoch does not mean they are quoting the book. That is how oral traditions work :)

Despite being clearly well-known during the development of the Hebrew Bible canon, 1 Enoch was excluded from
both the Tanakh’s formal canon and the Septuagint’s typical canon, and thus from the Deuterocanon’s writings.

Of the Apocrypha, Josephus says: “We do not possess myriads of inconsistent books, conflicting with
each other. Our books, those which are justly accredited, are but two and twenty [the equivalent of the
39 books of the Hebrew Scriptures according to modern division], and contain the record of all time.”

Doesn't matter. the Verses that Jesus, Luke, John, Paul, Peter, Jude, Author of Hebrews used are still in the Book of Enoch.

And they are nowhere near "quotes." You trying to pass them off as such is... an abomination.

The Apocryphal and Pseudepigraphical writings were preserved in the Catholic Bible but not canonized in the Hebrew Bible due to a number of reasons, starting with their questionable authorship or authenticity. The Hebrew Bible, known as the Old Testament, was compiled before the Book of Enoch was completed. Also, during the time of these books being written, it is acknowledged their were no prophets. I italicized preserved above because even though Enoch was included in some Catholic Bibles, it was not considered inspired.

I just learned something new!

The doctrine of the serpent seed, also known as the dual-seed or the two-seedline doctrine, is a controversial and fringe Christian religious belief which explains the biblical account of the fall of man by stating that the Serpent mated with Eve in the Garden of Eden, and the offspring of their union was Cain.

Here is how Rabbi's interpret Genesis 6:
The Benei Elohim, the Watchers, and the Origins of Evil

that in those days there were born to them fair and beautiful daughters.
6:2 And the angels, the sons of heaven, saw them and desired them. And they said to one another: ‘Come, let us choose for ourselves wives from the children of men, and let us beget for ourselves children.’ 6:3 And Shemihaza, who was their leader, said to them: ‘I fear that you may not wish this deed to be done, and [that] I alone will pay for this great sin.’ 6:4 And they all answered him and said: ‘Let us all swear an oath, and bind one another with curses not to alter this plan, but to carry out this plan effectively.’ …

7:2 And they (=the human women) became pregnant and bore large giants. 7:3 These devoured all the toil of men, until men were unable to sustain them. 7:4 And the giants turned against them in order to devour men. 7:5 And they began to sin against birds, and against animals, and against reptiles and against fish, and they devoured one another’s flesh and drank the blood from it. 7:6 Then the earth complained about the lawless ones.

This is Ancient Hebrew Writings that ALL Jews, including Jesus, and Disciples, would have believed.

7:8 And now the giants who were born from spirits and flesh will be called evil spirits upon the earth, and on the earth will be their dwelling. 7:9 And evil spirits came out from their flesh because from above they were created; from the holy Watchers was their origin and first foundation. Evil spirits they will be on the earth, and spirits of the evil ones they will be called. 7:10 And the dwelling of the spirits of heaven is in heaven, but the dwelling of the spirits of earth, who were born on the earth, [is] on earth. 7:11 And the spirits of the giants . . . which do wrong and are corrupt, and attack and fight and break on the earth, and cause sorrow; and they eat no food and do not thirst, and are not observed. 7:12 And these spirits will rise against the sons of men and against the women because they came out [from them].
may I ask what rabbi? Because that is not all of them, I can tell you that.

Where is the lines of Seth and Cain mentioned in Genesis 6?
it is mentioned before in four and Five. FYI chapters and verses were added for easier reading. Genesis was not written with them. The Line of Cain and Seth is right there in chapters 4 and 5. Chapter 6 is Noah's line
