Sounds to me like "the lady doth protest too much, methinks".

But....if that is your conscience screaming inside your head, it could be a positive signal IMO.

Yes, that is a beautiful song, released in 1990. Here (<= link) is an interesting read on it, and her .

No legit Christian could possibly fail perceive who she is, how she is, and who she is representing and proclaiming.

I had never heard that song before, and found occasion to post it in a thread about a member's
son getting married. So thank you for that .. I did enjoy the song, also, and of course I looked
up the year and discovered it was from 2000. I wanted to post The Heart of the Matter, my absolute
fave of Don Henley's, but alas! It is from 1989, and so does not fit the parameters of this thread. .

I was a fan of the music the Eagles produced throughout the 70s. With five number-one singles
and six number-one albums, six Grammy Awards and five American Music Awards, the Eagles
were one of the most successful musical acts of the 1970s in North America. They were recruited
by Linda Ronstadt as band members, some touring with her, and all playing on her third solo album,
before venturing out on their own on David Geffen's new Asylum Records label. Linda has been described
as the most successful and certainly the most durable and most gifted woman rock singer of her era.
She was the first woman to sell out concerts in arenas and stadiums hosting tens of thousands of fans,

can no longer sing as a result of a disease she has, which is a tragedy... and I cannot find anything
familiar of hers from the 90s, which was when I was really exploring female artists. There is Heather Nova:
